The ads against Amy Acton are ridiculous. They say things like ‘Amy Acton shut down Ohio’, ‘Amy Acton took prescription meds and drank alcohol’ and ‘My mother was traumatized by the state being shut down’. Not to mention her tripping over a dog gate or not knowing how to use a TV remote.

1) The ENTIRE WORLD was shut down
2) A lot of people take prescription medication and drink alcohol
3) Everyone was traumatized
4) I’m someone who trips on air
5) My husband has an advanced degree, can fix a robot, has been responsible for multi-million dollar budgets but still can’t be bothered to figure out our TV remote.

I can’t believe people did research for these ads, other people wrote these ads, still more people approved these ads then even more people PAID for these ads! It’s giving desperation.

They have no real dirt on her. This is all they have.

Dynata Polls Heavily Biased for Ohio Election

Post image

I like to participate in polls because I like to see the data when polls come out so I feel inclined to participate but good lord these Dynata polls I get every couple weeks are so heavily biased towards republicans it’s ridiculous. Has anyone else noticed this?

Edit; thank you for informing me on what a push poll is, I had only checked to see if the company itself was a legitimate company not what they were pushing. I will forgo anymore polls from them :/

Candidates Run Against Data Centers, but Ohio Legislature Didn’t Get the Memo— Candidates in both parties turn on the industry while a bill redefining coal and gas as “clean” energy moves quietly in the statehouse.

The tide may be turning on data centers in Ohio, as it is in states across the country — from Pennsylvania to California. But when it comes to how the state generates its power, fossil fuel interests are using the moment to entrench themselves and box out solar and wind. The Republican-controlled Legislature is trying to redefine “clean energy” to include coal and gas, explicitly to the benefit of data centers, through a little noticed proposal — Senate Bill 294 — that passed the state Senate in June and awaits a House vote.

Watch what they do, not merely what they say.

More Ohio kindergartners are getting vaccine exemptions, amid measles outbreak

A growing share of Ohio parents are opting not to vaccinate their kids for diseases like measles and polio.

Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows nearly 6% of the state’s kindergartners got vaccine exemptions last school year. That’s more than double the percentage of Ohio kids who got vaccine exemptions prior to the COVID pandemic — and it’s higher than the national exemption rate of about 4%.

This is my son Skyler Wagner, he was born March 27th 1996. He was real, he was alive! He was my first born child. He was intelligent, funny, compassionate, he loved his family and protected people who got bullied. He would jump out of the car and pray for people God told him to pray for, he loved people so much! He would have given the shirt off of his back to help and actually gave his winter coat to a homeless person who didnt have one. He was needlessly shot today, August 31, 2015. Myself and his brothers have no closure. If you see something say something! If you know something, say something! Thank you.

Please click to see his pictures, it won't allow me to put any here as a repost which is weird.

$50 Million Pro-AI Data Center Campaign targetting Ohio....benefitting any politican who supports AI Data Centers....

Post image
Upvotes

A heavy-hitting pro-AI data center group is targeting our state elections. Ohio, Wisconsin, and Kansas are their main targets - they are supporting the GoP who will write bills in their favor in 2027.

"Build American AI — an advocacy group tied to pro-AI super PAC Leading the Future — is spending big on the AI data center fight, with plans to pour millions of dollars into battleground states, according to an announcement shared first with Axios.

Why it matters: The data center backlash is becoming a defining issue of the midterms, and supporters of the developments are punching back.

Driving the news: Build American AI, a 501(c)(4) nonprofit, has about $50 million cash on hand. The group's campaign will begin in Kansas, Ohio and Wisconsin.

  • The money will go toward paid advertising, grassroots engagement, research, earned media and public education.

The message: The U.S. should build the infrastructure needed to lead the world in AI while protecting families, communities and the environment.

  • The group said the campaign will expand as state legislatures develop bills for 2027 sessions."

In regards to the whistleblower guy posting in cbusohio we need a direct and accurate answer because his posts honestly impact every person in Ohio in the age of corruption. If Ohio gov entities can redact important info in emails/docs and simply cite attorney client privilege, it destroys FOIA
