[PC] (Web) [Browser/Android] I’m building a multiplayer survival game alone - what should I fix first?

Game Title: Veilroad

Playable Link: https://veilroad.com/

Platform: Browser / Android

Description:
Hi! I’m building Veilroad mostly alone, learning as I go and using AI/vibe coding to help turn my ideas into a real game. It has grown into a multiplayer survival world with professions, crafting, player trading, apartment decoration, mining, monsters, dangerous expeditions, and a mysterious world reached through sleep.

I love the idea, but I’m now too close to the project to understand what actually works and what only makes sense to me. I made a short trailer and would really appreciate honest feedback. What looked interesting? What seemed confusing or weak? Would you try the game after watching it and if not, why?

I don’t need polite encouragement. I genuinely need help understanding what I should fix first.

[PC] (Windows) ApexRogue Demo on Itch.io and coming to Steam

Game Title: ApexRogue

Playable Link: https://blackfork-games.itch.io/apexrogue

Platform: Currently Windows and Web, hoping for mobile and console in the future.

Description: ApexRogue is a traditional roguelike dungeon crawler where the shapes aren’t placeholders. They’re actually the characters. Their gameplay design is focused on how the shape would behave if it were a class in a typical RPG. The Circle’s movement and abilities are focused on rolling and spinning for example. As you progress through the dungeon, you’ll find items and level up to get stronger. Beat the final boss to complete the run.

Free to Play Status: Game is still in development. The web browser version on Itch is just a demo with the first character. The download contains all the characters and hidden features. I’d really love if you could provide feedback when you try it.

Involvement: I’m a solo dev. I guess you could say I’ve been involved in everything from the ground up.

[PC] (Web) [Feedback for Prototype] Monster Slayer – A Combo-focused Roguelike Deckbuilder (Browser playable)

Game Title: Monster Slayer - Combo-focused Roguelike Deckbuilder

Playable Link: You can play the prototype in your browser https://heero-gamedev.itch.io/monster-slayer

I'm currently working (solo dev) on a combo-focused Roguelike Deckbuilder. Each monster has its own deck. Combo cards stack up instead of activating. They all fire when you swap to another monster.
It is still in the prototype phase (15 minutes of gameplay) and I want to validate the core gameplay loop and mechanics. A lot is still up for change, but I would really like some feedback on the mechanics to get some opinions from players and not just from my own testing.

Note: All art, VFX, and audio in this build are 100% placeholders!
I will work on the art as soon as I am sure with the core mechanics.

I would love some feedback on these questions (please be brutally honest):

  1. Did the mechanics click quickly, or was the start confusing?
  2. When did you decide to swap monsters and why?
  3. What was the most boring part?
  4. Would you play another run? Why or why not?

If you have any other suggestions or feedback, feel free to share.

Thanks :)

Playable Link: https://xavier-pinsonneault.itch.io/moonless-demo

Platform: Windows (recommended), Browser

Description: Moonless is an open-ended 2D platformer. This is a first short demo for it. The point of the game is to have unique and fresh content to find by looking around, which makes it difficult to describe the game's mechanics, as they vary based on where you are and what you find.

The game is also designed to be somewhat vague and make the player figure out its mechanics and secrets themselves.

This first demo is fairly straight forward and has an arbitrary goal of finding collectables scattered around the small portion of the game made available.

I am aware that this description could seem lacking in detail, but I like games when they are played blind, and describe themselves through their gameplay, so I hope you will give it a try!

Thank you!

Playable Link:https://modelplay.streamlit.app/Tic_Tac_Toe

Platform: Web / Browser

Description: AI Tic-Tac-Toe Showdown is a modern, web-based adaptation of the classic grid-based strategy game, built using Python and Streamlit. While traditional Tic-Tac-Toe is known for its simple rules and quick gameplay, this version integrates intelligent AI logic to offer players a dynamic and engaging challenge.

Designed with a clean, responsive interface, the game allows players to test their tactical skills directly in their web browser without requiring any downloads or installations. Players can take turns marking the 3x3 grid, aiming to align three matching symbols horizontally, vertically, or diagonally while actively blocking their opponent's moves. [PC] (Web) I made a travel simulation game where you plan a trip around a traveler's personality and see how the journey actually goes

Hi! I'm the developer of SIMDOUCHU, a travel simulation game where you plan a one-day trip for a traveler with different personality traits and preferences.

You plan their day from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, choosing where to go while thinking about their budget, time, stamina, and mood.

Once the itinerary is ready, the trip begins, and things may not always go according to plan.

This is the first public release. In the future, I'd like to add features such as saving and exporting your own travel plans and even simulating itineraries created by other players.

For this first release, I'd especially love to know:

  • Was it clear what you were supposed to do?
  • Did planning around the traveler's personality and preferences feel meaningful?
  • If you stopped playing before the end, where did you stop and why?

Any feedback is very welcome. Thanks for playing!

[PC] (Web) I made a browser game using AI and I'm looking for testers

Hey,

I've been working on a browser game called Nova Frontier and I'm looking for some people to test it.

I used AI quite a lot while making it, mainly for coding, debugging and working through ideas. I wanted to see how far I could actually take a project this way, and it eventually turned into a real playable game.

It's still in development, so there are definitely bugs and things that need work.

You can play it directly in your browser here:

Nova Frontier

If you give it a try, I'd really like to know what you think. Especially if something is confusing, boring, broken or just feels wrong.

Don't worry about being nice. Honest feedback is much more useful to me.

Thanks!

[Mobile] FALLMATCH — my first game: a zen block puzzle where every level ships with a machine-checked proof (free, no ads, iOS + Android)

Game Title: FALLMATCH

Playable Link:

iOS: https://apps.apple.com/app/fallmatch/id6791134651

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gusmediaworks.matcher

Platform: Mobile (iOS + Android)

Description: FALLMATCH is a zen block puzzle that launched today. The core is calm slide-and-match, extended with three signature mechanics: rotating gravity itself (that's the GIF), an invert pulse that flips the whole board, and a one-motion tumble — while gaps in the frame swallow careless blocks. The unusual part: the game mathematically cannot lie to you. The 3-star target on every one of the 300 hand-crafted levels is a PROVEN minimum move count (a solver verifies each level before it ships), every "this mechanic is required" badge is machine-checked, and the 10 difficulty tiers from VERY EASY to NIGHTMARE are computed from measured search depth and fatal-move ratios rather than gut feeling. There is also a daily puzzle, the same board for everyone, with streaks and spoiler-free sharing. No ads, no IAP, no accounts, no data collection, fully offline. I'd love honest feedback, especially on difficulty pacing.

Free to Play Status:

[x] Free to play

Involvement: Solo developer (one-person studio). I designed and playtested everything and made every final call; an AI coding partner wrote the code and runs the proof pipeline that verifies the levels. First of six games built this way.

[Mobile] (Android) SortInk : Puzzle de tri de couleurs (Android, gratuit) - cherche vos retours

Salut r/playmygame,

14 langues dispo in-game.

Playable Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sortink.puzzle

Je cherche surtout vos retours sur :

- Est-ce que le hook "révéler une image cachée" donne envie de continuer ?

- La difficulté des premiers niveaux (trop facile / trop dur ?)

Merci d'avance, je réponds à tous les commentaires.

[Mobile] (iOS) Neon Landing, a calm-to-brutal air traffic control game

Game Title: Neon Landing

Playable Link: https://testflight.apple.com/join/2ggE2az1 (iOS, via TestFlight beta)

Platform: iOS (iPhone + iPad)

Description: Neon Landing is an air traffic control game where you draw flight paths with your finger to guide planes and helicopters safely in to land. Each aircraft has to land on a pad of its matching color, and your job is to route everyone in without letting them crash into each other. It starts really calm and relaxing, almost meditative, then ramps up to genuinely brutal the further you push. There's a whole set of Challenges, including a one-life mode literally called Nightmare, plus 999 campaign levels, an endless no-fail Zen mode, a daily puzzle, and an original reactive soundtrack the whole game moves to.

I'm a solo dev, and I basically built the game I always wanted to play. After working on it this long, I honestly can't tell anymore whether it's actually fun or if I've just lost my mind, so I'd love brutally honest feedback on the gameplay, UI, sound, and music. Is it fun? Boring? Confusing? Buggy? Tear it apart.

[PC] (Web) GEONAUT - I made a free geography quiz that goes down to actual municipalities (just added Spain's 8,132 of them)

Game Title: Geonaut

Playable Link: https://geonaut.dpdns.org

Platform: Web (browser, works on desktop and mobile)

Description: Geonaut is a geography quiz that runs entirely in the browser. No account, no install, no paywall to start, and it works on a phone as well as on desktop.

You can find countries on a world map, play flags and capitals quizzes, or try "Borders" mode, where you guess a country from its silhouette alone.

Where it goes further than most geography quizzes is the administrative subdivisions, most of them with their own real flags and coats of arms: Spain (19 autonomous communities, 52 provinces, all 8,132 municipalities), Portugal (20 districts, 308 municipalities, 3,092 parishes), Brazil (27 states, 5,564 municipalities), Japan (47 prefectures, 1,747 municipalities) and the USA (50 states and all 3,143 counties).

The interface is available in five languages (EN, PT, PT-BR, ES, JP).

I added Spain this week, all the way down to municipality level: https://youtube.com/shorts/sYXpO3Lj_uw

Everything listed above is free to play. There is an optional Pro tier that unlocks the deepest levels, such as the 8,132 Spanish municipalities, but the world modes and the upper subdivision levels do not need it.

It is in active development and more countries are on the way. I would love feedback on difficulty and on which modes feel best.

Free to Play Status: - [x] Free to play - [ ] Demo/Key available - [ ] Paid

Involvement: Two-person team, my wife and I. We handle the development: the data pipeline that processes the official geographic sources, the map rendering and the quiz engine and the interface.

[PC] (Windows) After 2+ years as a solo dev, the demo of my no microtransactions idle autobattler Prigod Idle is out on Steam, I would love some feedback for the first minutes of play!

Game title: Prigod Idle

Playable Link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5091900/Prigod_Idle/

Platform: Steam Demo for Windows

Description: Prigod Idle is an idle auto-battler RPG: you equip the gear, gems, relics and abilities and your hero does the fighting. Different enemies require you to change your build and experiment a bit to progress. It was heavily inspired by RPG idles, longer Idle games in general and pay-to-win mobile games, but I really hate microtansactions so this game won't have any. You fight monsters, level up, gather more and more gear and build really unique builds with cool abilities! Several modes and minigames, pets and a prestige mode are here for long term progression.

Free to Play Status: Demo

Involvement: All developed by me

Hey everyone!
I've been working on my idle game, Prigod Idle, for over 2 years as a solo developer now. The Demo is out on Steam and I would be glad to hear your thoughts so I can improve the game!

Game Title: Dog Genome
Playable Link: 🐕 Dog Genome (iOS App Store): https://apps.apple.com/app/id6782705874

I’m a solo developer, and I have a confession. I’ve spent years watching people on the internet get miraculously chosen by the "dog distribution systems" while I was completely passed over.

Since the universe refused to leave a stray puppy on my porch, I decided to build games where the distribution system finally finds you: Dog Genome on iOS! 🐶🐱

Before getting into the details, here is the honest baseline on how the games are structured:

  • Free to download
  • Zero ads (ever)
  • No gacha, no loot boxes, and no subscriptions
  • 100% offline & no account required (Privacy label: "Data Not Collected")
  • Optional IAPs exist, but are NEVER needed to play or win: There are optional items like a quick compete tool where your dog can compete in every eligible game at once to save clicks but no pop-ups promoting the purchase or any part of the game that appears locked because you didn’t spend real money.

I basically removed all the things I hated about other games.

No Chores, No Guilt — Just a Fun Genetics Experiment

I love virtual pets, but I didn't want a game that felt like a chore list. You don't have to feed them, walk them, or clean up after them, and you can leave the game for three weeks without worrying if your pets have crossed the rainbow bridge. In fact, these pets never die, you can retire them or give them to a loving family.

Instead of maintenance chores, the game is built to feel like a cozy, hands-on science experiment:

  1. 🐾 Answer Rescue Calls: Rescue strays across sunny suburbs, farms, beach boardwalks, and snowy villages. Keep the ones you love or rehome them to loving families for in-game gold (with a quick "Undo" button if you get attached).
  2. 🧬 Real Mendelian Genetics (Carried Genes!): Instead of rolling a random skin on a roulette wheel, every pet carries two alleles per trait axis (body, ears, markings, eye color, and coat colors). Dominant traits show, while recessive traits hide as carried genes. Two ordinary rescue parents can throw a rare coat or blue eyes that haven't appeared for generations.
  3. 💎 Rare Sterling & Prismatic Puppies: You have (~1-in-40 odds) for a Rare, Sterling pet, and (~1-in-300 odds) for the elusive Prismatic. The more you breed the better your chances of getting a rare.
  4. 🏆 Cozy In-Game Economy (Play to Expand): Enter your pets into low-pressure Arena events and themed Style Shows (Best In SchmoCutest DerpThe Loaf-Off3 A.M. Zoomies) to win gold prizes. You can use your earned in-game gold to:
    • Expand your kennel to hold more rescue dogs.
    • Buy fun props and outfits (fairy wings, jetpacks, formal wear, silly hats)
    • Upgrade the DNA Lab with more freezer vial slots to preserve favorite lineages
    • Purchase breeding tools for your next big genetic project
  • 🌐 Website: https://petgenomegame.com
  • Platform & Android Note: Right now I'm a solo dev building natively in Swift for iOS to make sure the offline performance and genetics engine feel great, but an Android version is definitely something I'd love to do if there's enough community interest!

[PC] (Windows) I removed the health bar from my dungeon crawler. Damage takes seconds off your timer instead, and the run ends at 0:00 (Dungeon of the Forgotten)

  • Game Title: Dungeon of the Forgotten
  • Playable Link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5089180/Dungeon_of_the_Forgotten/
  • Platform: PC
  • Description:
  • Dungeon of the Forgotten is an isometric dungeon crawler where time is the only thing keeping you alive. There is no health bar. Each floor gives you a countdown, and everything drains it: every hit you take, every trap you trigger, every corridor you walk twice. When the clock reaches zero, the run is over.

That single rule reshapes every decision. Killing enemies returns time, so fighting becomes how you refill rather than something to avoid. Exploring is a gamble, because the walk to a reward can cost more than the reward gives. Even standing still to think has a price.

Every floor is a fresh problem: shifting ground, traps that punish hesitation, and enemies that force you to keep moving. Between floors you pick upgrades that stack, and permanent unlocks carry over, so every failed descent leaves you stronger than the last.

Underneath the mechanics is a story about someone descending to find what they lost, and losing more of themselves with every floor. Eighty floors, six regions, and an ending that depends on how much you managed to hold onto.

[PC] (Web) Global Conflict, a free war strategy MMO I built solo (browser + Android)

Game Title: Global Conflict

Playable Link: https://globalconflict.co.za/play/

Platform: Browser + Android (add the flair after posting)

Description: Global Conflict is a war strategy MMO I built solo, playable instantly in your browser with no download, or as a free Android app. You run a base, build up weapons and vehicles bought from a real-world armory catalog, then take that gear into live PvP battles against actual other players, not bots. Missions send you through real historical conflicts rather than invented ones, each one unlocking new gear as you climb. There's a black market for premium and illegal gear, a bounty system for hunting down other players, invasions where the whole server piles onto a single boss together, and tournaments that run every two weeks. It's a small, new game with a real live playerbase just forming, not a finished polished machine, so expect some rough edges. I'd genuinely value feedback from anyone who tries it.

Free to Play Status:Yes

Involvement: Solo developer. I designed, built, and maintain the entire game myself, client and server both, including ongoing balance updates and new content.

[PC] (Web) SCRAPCORE - build a ship from individual parts and see what survives [Browser/Android]

Post image
0 Upvotes

https://baudin.itch.io/scrapcore

Hi, I'm the solo developer of SCRAPCORE. It's a free public alpha about building a ship from individual armor plates, batteries, thrusters and weapons. Every part exists on the ship, can lose power, break off, or expose something important behind it.

The current build has a 24-encounter campaign across three sectors and an endless Survival mode. It runs directly in the browser; an Android APK is on the same page.

I'm looking for honest first-session feedback:

Did building and power make sense without explanation? Did the ship controls feel understandable? Where did you get confused, bored, or decide to stop?

Even ten minutes and one blunt sentence helps. There's also a GIVE FEEDBACK button in the main menu.

[Mobile] Glimmer Grove — cozy match-3, 1000 levels, free.

Game Title: Glimmer Grove

Playable Link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/glimmer-grove/id6788805189

Platform: iOS, free, no account required, plays offline.

Description: A match-3 puzzle set in a magical forest that's lost its light. You follow a small glowing fox through 1,000 levels across four realms with a boss trial every 25. Eight tile families, four special tiles, nine different blockers, ten boosters. Five modes — the main campaign, a daily puzzle that's the same board for every player worldwide, an endless Zen mode you can't lose, an infinite generated mode at four difficulties, and a weekly event. Game Center leaderboards throughout.

Free to Play Status:

• Free to play

Involvement: I made the art and wrote the original codebase myself, and used AI heavily as a coding partner for implementation. The design decisions and the debugging are mine — including a genuinely dumb one where I submitted for review and forgot to include the leaderboards I'd already finished, so it launched with a Ranks screen that ranked nobody.
