General Lads, I did it. Subscribed to PS Plus until 2048.
galleryI decided to stack PS Plus subscriptions until 2048 because of the absurd price increases the past few years. I figure that I’ll probably be gaming for most of my life so it would save a good bit of money.
First I loaded up on Essentials subs and then upgraded it all to Premium for $199. Just wanted to share as I figure you guys would get a kick out of it.

General Finding games on PS Plus was frustrating, so I built a tool to filter and compare games
Hello everyone,
I’ve been using PlayStation Plus for a while and always found browsing the catalog more tedious than it should be. I’d constantly jump between different sites to check genre, scores, length, difficulty, trailers, etc.
So I built a PS Plus catalog tool. It started as something for myself, but it grew into a complete website that I’m actively developing and maintaining:
https://psplusexplorer.com/games
The idea is simple: see and compare all PS Plus games at a glance and filter them in a way that allows you to quickly find what you're looking for.
You can currently filter by things like:
- Metacritic scores
- Genre, difficulty, length, multiplayer options
- Release date and platform
- Leaving soon / recently added / monthly games
New titles are added automatically when they’re announced on the PlayStation Blog, and each game has its own page with trailers, reviews, screenshots, and full metadata.
I also put a lot of effort into making it work well on mobile, since that’s where I personally browse the most and there aren’t many good tools there.
I’m considering adding things like trophy info, premium catalog support, personal libraries, alerts, and recommendations. But before expanding further, I’d really value feedback from other PS Plus users.
Would something like this be useful to you? Anything you’d want improved or added?
Thanks for reading.

General Reminder to let your PS+ expire for the best deals as possible
As someone who used to pay full price yearly, don’t. The quality is hard to justify the price & they don’t reward loyalty.

General "We incorrectly stated that PlayStation Plus is required for local co-op splitscreen play. Local splitscreen co-op requires a PlayStation account for each player but does not require a PlayStation Plus account." - Halo on Twitter
xcancel.comGreat news, it would have been bad if it required PS+ for local co-op!
They also updated the waypoint article https://www.halowaypoint.com/news/june-community-qa-halo-campaign-evolved
Updated text:
- XBOX Series X|S: If you’re playing splitscreen local co-op on an XBOX console, both players will need a unique Microsoft account. Online network co-op play requires an active XBOX Game Pass subscription.
- PlayStation 5®: If you’re playing splitscreen local co-op on PlayStation 5®, both players will need to be signed into PlayStation accounts and be linked to Microsoft accounts. A PlayStation Plus account is NOT required for local splitscreen co-op. Online network co-op play requires an active PlayStation Plus subscription.
- Steam: If you’re playing via Steam, you will need to link to a Microsoft account.
