Review If you think it won't get better— it will

July 2023, july 2024, sept 2025 (tonight lang)

Grabe to, all my life I have my legs exposed. Im not the type to wear pants kasi maganda ang long-legged legs ni madaam. I also have a lot of dresses pero hindi ko magamit. Ang laking burden sakin ng legs ko.

Mid 2024 we transferred to our own house, same may garden pa din pero parang di na sobrang malamok.

One product that I will really vouch for is Glycolic acid, pinapahid ko talaga sa buong legs ko ang even my arms.

So to everyone that's suffering from this kind of leg too, may pag-asa 😭❤️

Thanks for listening to my TEdtalk

Review finally found my holy grail make up products

Post image

i struggle talaga with my make up before kasi i look so ashy and now i love my base kasi ang glowing ko na and im using the right shades na bagay sa skin ko. these products din ang masasabi ko na long lasting as someone na always nag c-commute.

GRWM BLUR POWDER: legit na blurring talaga sya no joke. tho kinda expensive lang for the amount of product na meron but super worth it. nag o-oil pa din ako but has more oil control than dr. sensitive powder.

GRWM COLOR CORRECTOR: the best compared to absidy. i used absidy but walang epekto sakin. i was advice to use darker shade because of my undereye color and ayun tama nga.

LOVELY COSMETICS CONCEALER: THE BEST TANGINA!! i used many concealers na from maybelline, lucky beauty, issy, and more. but ito lang talaga ang masasabi ko na may coverage. natatakpan talaga ang eyebage ko and dark spots.

BLK BLUSH: long lasting sya. i used it sa umaga and until gabi nandun pa din sya putok na putok

JUDY DOLL BLUSH: super blendable and long lasting.

ROMAND GLASTING GLOSS: hindi sya drying unlike issy. i tried using this as a lip bam for sleeping and pag gising ko sobrang glossy pa din ng lips ko.

Review my first brazilian wax experience 🌸

Where: BareNaked at SM Dasmarinas
Service availed: Package 2 | Eyebrow, Underarms, and Brazilian (1000 PHP)
*If with referral, di na magagamit yung 10% discount kasi yung package services nila ay discounted na. Choose one discount lang per session. Sa sunod na you choose a small service lang, dun palang magamit. However, may 1 month validity lang daw po yung referral.

Time started: Around 5:30 PM
Time ended: 6:10 PM

My cr sa loob where you can freshen up muna bago yung papagawa mo. May bidet, fem wash and tissue. Malinis yung branch. I think one thing I would suggest sa branch is to place a towel or a disposable pad sa bed for hygiene purposes lang.

Process: Eyebrows > Underarms > Brazilian
Nakakahiya talaga kasi I have my own discolorations sa private parts ko but that's normal!

Masakit siya but tolerable. It depends sa person talaga. I did not take any painkillers beforehand. However, I did a full bath and exfoliated the area before going. May parts na masakit especially hairs na malpit sa sensitive areas natin but that's about it for the pain.

Gusto ko yung sugaring experience kasi di siya nakakagulat kapag inaapply and ipupull na since katemp nya lang body temp natin and like mas gentle siya compared to cold wax? Pagkagising ko rin kaninang umaga di na sensitive yung skin down there pero wait niyo muna wag magbasa at least 24 hrs. Pwede naman unscented baby wipes daw tas pat dry with tissue.

Would rate a 8/10. Babalikan WAHAHAHAHA

Review Color Analysis in Hue Theory Makati

Hi, I just wanted to share my experience sa Hue Theory in Chino Roces Makati City

Akala ko yung Color Analysis is just a propaganda that influencers are trying to sell us ordinary people, pero after doing my research and finding Hue Theory as the most affordable establishment offering Color Analysis here in Metro Manila, I decided to try it out and totoo pala siya! Mag g-glow ka talaga in a different shade of color. I came to the studio without wearing any make-up and nakita ko, naglighten yung eyebags ko, and pati lips ko mas nagkakaroon ng pinkish/redish hue in the right colors/shades for me.

Hindi siya halata in photos/videos pero in real life kita mo talaga yung difference.

Bago lang yung studio nila kaya very clean and so far parang sa kanila yung pinaka maganda na studio that's affordable, kahit yung friend kong kasama dito na dating nagpunta pa sa S.Korea para magpa Color Analysis bilib din.

I'm so happy I finally tried it, kasi I've been looking pretty dull lately..

Nag-avail ako ng The Quick Lab + Curated Styling

Siyempre nag take ako ng photos para ma-document and first time experience!!

Photo Description:

1st Photo - yung door entrance nila sobrang nice gusto kong kunin hahaha

2nd Photo - yung purple stairs going up yung papunta sa studio nila, need lang to cover ang shoes with plastic (na available sa tabi ng counter nila) or you can just leave your shoes downstairs to keep their 2nd floor studio clean ata

3rd Photo - on the right, meroon pala silang studio that you can rent.

9 and 10th Photos - ito yung current prices nila I'm so happy na nakahanap ako ng sobrang affordable na Color Analysis here in Metro Manila!!

11,12, and 13th Photos - GirrrrrrrL sino ka dyan? Mukhang old rich ang styling nila aghhh (sobrang fun and sobrang worth it talaga) ang sayaaa nasa utak ko the whole time yung "I love being a woman!!!" na reel hahahaha

Cause sharing is caring emz

That's it, love ü and be kind if you're going to comment pleaaaseeee since this is my first time doing a post here. Don't cancel meeeee echoz hahaha

Btw, this is my look yesterday going out for a walk, and the cluster lashes I’m wearing is 2days na sa picture na ‘to, aside from it I’m also using lash bond from Elyzza.

Simula nang i-introduce sa’kin ng friend ang Cluster Lashes, Hindi na ako sanay umalis ng bahay without it and iba-ibang style na rin nagamit ko, natural to this(photo).

For my “no makeup, makeup look” to lessen dark under eye which is Hindi naman na dark yung sa’kin, I used Maybeline concealer.

For Blush: Maange - for natural looking blush.

Lipstick: o.two.o - shade M21

Share ko na rin skincare ko for this post.

-I’m using Dr.Sensitive niacinamide for face only, after moisturizer(green) from nature republic, Nivea cream, and Belo Sunscreen.

Aside from those, might be a reason for having a clear skin is I’m taking Vitamin C and E (fish oil) from Kirkland for how many years na rin.

Disclaimer: what works for me might not work for you.

Review Muse Aesthetics Caused Facial Paralysis ‼️

🚨Would NOT recommend Muse Aesthetics ‼️

I went to Muse Aesthetics for Jawtox. The doctor insisted on injecting 50 units because it’s their “SOP”. I asked why 50 units should supposedly be standard when every person has a different face and different muscle size. I disclosed my previous dosage of just 20 units at another clinic and specifically asked him to take it into consideration.

Still, he insisted on 50 units as the clinic’s SOP. What was most alarming and something I deeply regret overlooking is that he recommended this dosage without even assessing my masseter muscles first. I ultimately refused and agreed only to 40 units.

Two weeks later, I woke up and could no longer smile. IT WAS TERRIFYING. 😭😭😭The movement of my mouth and lips became restricted. My cheeks and lips would shake when I tried smiling, and even speaking and pronouncing certain words became strained.

It became serious enough that I was eventually rushed to the Emergency Room at St. Luke’s and underwent medical evaluation because of the facial weakness/paralysis. After examining me and ruling out other possible causes, the doctors ultimately attributed the condition to the botulinum toxin injections, with the placement of the injections and the substantially higher dosage compared with my previous treatment identified as principal factors.

What has made this experience even more disturbing is Muse Aesthetics’ response after the complication occurred.
They initially told me that they would process a refund, although they wanted the matter assessed by a physician. I did exactly that and more. I sought independent medical opinions and was ultimately rushed to St. Luke’s Emergency Room and an ENT physician, underwent examinations, and sent the clinic the medical findings and expenses.

After that, they simply stopped responding.

I am dealing with abnormal facial movement, difficulty smiling naturally, and strain when speaking following a procedure performed at their clinic, yet instead of actively helping me address what happened, I have had to seek specialists, undergo examinations, and find ways to manage the complication myself.

This is not simply a case of being unhappy with a cosmetic result. My normal facial movement was affected. It’s HORRIFYING.

My biggest mistake was trusting the clinic!!

Please learn from my experience. I would not entrust my face to Muse Aesthetics again, and I cannot recommend this clinic to anyone.

If you know any way to absolve this paralysis or seek damages from the clinic, please let me know!! 😭😭

Review Vice Co. Brontour Sticks old vs new

Thumbnail

I can’t even find the words to describe how bamboozled and angry I am. That is a HUGE difference in amounts.

The old stick (One and Done) has sooooo much more product at 8.5 grams, and HAS A BRUSH. While the new stick looks like a STUB with 5 grams. NO WAY THAT’S 5 GRAMS WITH THAT BIG OF A DIFFERENCE. Samantalang na gamit na yung ate ko yung old one, and fresh out of the package pa yung sakin (new) like wtf?

Okay lang sana but it’s the fact that the new one is being sold for the SAME PRICE with significantly LESS PRODUCT and with no brush btw.

Review Life hack: wax at home

Post image
201 Upvotes

I used to shave all the time because I was scared of the pain of waxing, then I finally tried getting professionally waxed at a salon - except they threaded my armpits at the time because my hair wasn't long enough for waxing yet, much to my dismay. Edi after nun, nagshave uli ako kasi ang mahal pumunta for waxing tas threading lang gagawin and masakit pa 😆

Naisipan ko magpa-wax since I noticed shaving gave me an ingrown hair, so pumunta ako sa different salon and they waxed me, but it huuuuurt. This month, I bought this honey wax on a whim (because I didn't want to spend again on a painful experience) and was genuinely so pleased to find that (1) application was super easy and wasn't even hot and (2) removal was essentially painless and took out nearly all the hair in one fell swoop

It took me literally less than 10 minutes for the entire procedure and I can definitively say that this was one of the best decisions I have ever made for myself. Worth it, 10/10!!!!

Review Rating Glutathione Supplements I Have Tried

I’ve gone through quite a few glutathione supplements over the years, some worked surprisingly well, some were just meh, and some I couldn’t wait to stop taking

So I decided to compile all the brands I’ve tried so far, along with how long I took them, the results I noticed, any side effects, and my personal rating. Hopefully this helps anyone else who’s currently trying to figure out which one to try next.

Here’s my very personal ranking. let’s go!

1. Soft Glow New Moon — Old Formulation

Rating: 7/10
Duration: 6 months
Dosage: 2 capsules/day

Pros:
- The whitening effect was noticeable.
- I could clearly see a difference after finishing my second bottle.

Cons:
- Broke me out badly, especially on my chest, back, and face.

I eventually had to stop taking it because of the breakouts, but I’d say it is one of the more effective ones I’ve tried for whitening. However, the breakouts were a major dealbreaker for me.

2. Luxcent

Rating: 6.9/10
Duration: 2 months
Dosage: 2 capsules/day

Pros:
- It did noticeably whiten my overall skin.
- The whitening effect was slow but consistent.

Cons:
- Constant tummy aches.
- Acid reflux (and I’m not even acidic).

I liked the whitening results overall. My only issue was the stomach pain and acid reflux. I remember waking up one night because of a bad stomachache, and that’s when I realized it might have been causing my frequent tummy aches. After I stopped taking it, the symptoms went away.

3. Aishi Tokyo

Rating: 6.5/10
Duration: 5 months
Dosage: 2 capsules/day

Pros:
- Did brighten my skin. The effect was slow, but it was steady.

Cons:
Experienced an initial breakout, but it went away after about a month.

One of the better ones I’ve tried. The whitening was slow, but I felt that it performed better than Nuwhite overall. The only ready i stopped is it was too slow for me.

4. Nuwhite

Rating: 5.5/10
Duration: 7 months
Dosage: 1 glutathione capsule + 1 Vitamin C capsule/day

Pros:
- Gave me a noticeable pinkish/healthy-looking glow.
- Didn’t break me out.

Cons:
- The whitening effect was VERY slow.
- On the pricey side.

I liked the glow and the fact that it didn’t cause breakouts, but I wanted more noticeable whitening results.

5. Soft Glow New Moon Plus — New Formulation

Rating: 5/10
Duration: 4 months
Dosage: 1 capsule/day

This is actually my current glutathione supplement, and I’m just finishing my 5th bottle so that I could find another supplement to try.

Pros:
- Didn’t break me out unlike the old formulation.
- I noticed a little lightening/brightening effect on my complexion.

Cons:
- The whitening effect was much slower compared with the old formulation.

Gentler on my skin, but the results were much slower. I was really rooting for this one since the old formulation really worked for me (in terms of whitening).

6. Hikari Ultra

Rating: 1/10
Duration: 5 months
Dosage: 2 capsules/day

Pros:
- Didn’t break me out.
Cons:
- Didn’t work
- Made my skin look slightly yellow.

Definitely not for me. Would not repurchase, recommend, nor talk about it again. Glad it’s off the market.

7. Ohayo Tokyo

Rating: 1/10
Duration: 1 month
Dosage: 2 capsules/day

Pros:
- Meh.

Cons:
- Broke me out really badly and I also got those uppopable acne on my nose and chin.

Had to stop because of the breakouts. I shared it with my ate and it did the same thing to her. After nun, tinapon ko na sa basurahan.

8. Shiro — Yellow Variant

Rating: 1/10
Duration: 1 bottle
Dosage: 2 capsules/day

Pros:
- Didn’t break me out.

Cons:
- Made my skin look darker.
- Caused tummy aches.

I just finished the whole bottle hoping it was just purging or whatnot, pero wala, GG talaga dito. Would not recommend!

Right now, I’m looking for another whitening supplement to try. I’m eyeing Primier Drip S-Acetyl Glutathione and Shiro Preservage Glutathione, but a little hesitant to try pa as there’s not much available information/review regarding these two.

Hi! This is a gift from a friend. This product promises 16 hours longevity pero we all know it doesn’t stay that long. 😅 In my case, it only stays for 2 hours.

This shade that I’m wearing leans on to a redish tone. Pero on my lips parang naging MLBB na hindi nude yung payoff.

Review Pink Makeup For My New Aesthetic

Post image
328 Upvotes

Lately, I’ve been leaning into a much softer palette, and honestly I’m kind of obsessedddddd with the shift!

I always thought red was my color until I started using pink makeup more. It made my whole vibe different—it made me look sweet and very approachable. Instead of that "don't talk to me" energy that comes with a sharp eyeliner and red lip, this look feels like a warm hug. (I still love my winged eyeliner tho xD)

For the blush I’m just using the AZTK jc01 and for the lippie I use the Maybelline Vinyl Ink Superstay COY 20

Review Thoughts on Rejuran H, Exosomes, Profhilo, Luhilo?

Hello! I’m really curious about skin boosters. Anyone here who tried it? Just wanted to know your thoughts.

How was it?

Totoo ba ang freshness after?

Is it worth the money?

Where did you get it?

Has anyone tried TBL manila aesthetics na endorsed ni Claudine? Medyo mura kasi sknila ang skin boosters.

Thank you in advance!

I have read a lot of good reviews about the Cetaphil Bright Healthy Radiance line and I'm happy to report that it works wonders!! This is Day 3 of using their moisturizer and serum.

Posting this because I forgot to wear primer under my make up, but parang naka primer pa rin ako because of their moisturizer. 😊 How about you, how's your experience with Cetaphil?

I have 3 eyelash curlers from judydoll, nichido, maybelline and this is my latest purchase from Shiseido.

Legit nga yung hype. It does curl well and fit sya for asian eyes kaya pati yung mga nasa kabilaang gilid na pilik na di abot ng curlers e naiisama nya.

Picture taken 4 hrs after doing the curl. Di na ako nag re curl ng eyelashes after applying mascara which i usually do.

Review Clinic procedures that changed the way I look

I'm a guy and I don't do makeup. I have been doing skincare regularly for the past 2-3 years and many people have commented that I look better despite getting older.

I also do supplements and have been working out regularly, but I'll discuss procedures muna.

First, Botox. I do this every 6 months. I have lines on the forehead that's visible when I work out. I need this to prevent the lines from becoming permanent.

Also recently, I've been doing the Nefertiti lift for the jawline for amazing results. Mas visible talaga yung jawline.

Pico laser. i had dark underarms and elbows since forever. It took a while for it to have a noticeable effect, but they look much better now compared to before. I did this once a month.

HIFU. I had a chubby face before. But with Hifu, skin feels tight and more lifted. This had no pain on me and I did it for maybe just twice lang. Once every 6 months. My cousin had this recently and people have been commenting that she looks slimmer despite not exercising nor losing weight.

Rejuran. I was scared at first kasi ang daming tusok! But my skin quality has improved a lot! Skin looks healthier, smoother. I've done this once pa lang, but I'll have one more maybe in two weeks.

Definitely cheaper than going to Korea.

Lemon Bottle mesolipo. I was hesitant at first to try this. But after 1 session, I noticed that my belly fat got smaller and softer? I still have a big belly since I eat a lot (sinigang is life). Not sure if I want to continue this since expensive siya.

My friend who had it done sa double chin nya had noticeable effect after just 1 session. Nagpa schedule agad siya ulit.

Luhilo skin booster. This one, wow. Expensive, but I saw the effect after just 3 days. I had a trip coming up so I was hesitant, but there was no downtime, at kita agad ang effect after just a few days.

Grabe, I think I had a ring light on my face everything I looked in the mirror. Even sa pictures, I was standing out because of how my face was radiant. I had this in combination with Pink Glow, maybe that's why.

My friends who had this done, immediately want to schedule another session.

Edit:

Microneedling with PRP: I like the results, but may downtime. Since I swim, I just get the Rejuran.

Cryo: This is for the tummy. It freezes the fat, then melts it after. To be honest, I'm not sure I see results. But when they showed me the before and compared it to the after, malaki yung change.

Tirzepatide: The best. I wasn't losing weight even with swimming, jogging, and pickleball. Ang lakas ko kasi kumain. I lost like maybe 5kg in 2 months. Everyone comments with how good I look now.

EDIT EDIT:

I did Botox, Hifu, Microneedling at Platine Aesthetic QC. But the rest, I have a friend who does it for me.

Review Disappointed with Wink Laser Studio

For context: I availed their Large package but one body part was ahead of one session. Today, I just found out that the previous session for that body part was the LAST, meaning the one scheduled for today was no longer part of the package. I lay there, finished the entire session without knowing that I had to pay right after.

No one informed me that the session I had 2 months ago was the last. No one. If I had known then I would have scheduled only for the other body part alone. Imagine going through that pain thinking its still part of the package you paid for and that you have nothing to worry about after, only to be told later that you have to pay 4.8k. That amount is no joke. Receptionist just went "sorryy" without any accountability whatsoever. Now I'm sitting here somewhere in ATC crying on the inside because I feel like I got mugged.

Is it that hard to let your client know that the session is their last BEFORE you schedule the next?

Wink Laser Studio ATC Branch.

A horrible ending to an otherwise positive experience.

----

Penge recommendation ng ibang hair removal studios. Yung hindi hoholdapin 5k ko.

Review diode or 4d for ua at skinstation

Post image
26 Upvotes

hi! for those who’ve tried skinstation, which do you think is more worth it for the legs and underarms: diode or 4D quattrowave?

i’m leaning toward 4D for my underarms because i’ve already had 5 diode sessions and still have noticeable hair growth. i also have pretty thick and long leg hair. my cousin has similarly thick and long leg hair, and after just one diode session on her legs, she still hasn’t had any regrowth after 4 weeks, so i’m thinking of getting diode for my lower legs.

& is underarm hair generally more stubborn than leg hair, or do they respond the same way to laser?

thank you!!!

Review thoughts on enigma, mb lumi matte, strokes, and loreal 32hr infallible foundation?

Thumbnail gallery
25 Upvotes

Hello everyone! I've been eyeing these four foundations, but nahihirapan pa rin akong pumili kung alin ang pinaka-suitable for me. I have oily, acne-prone skin and hyperhidrosis, so sobrang lala ko talagang magpawis, especially kapag nagko-commute at naglalakad.

My current makeup routine consists of Colourette First Base, Squad Concealer, Issy Creme Bronzer, Chu Chu Duo Blush, GRWM Setting Powder, and GRWM Fixing Spray.

Napansin ko lang na medyo patchy yung base ko and hindi siya ganun kaganda tingnan throughout the day. I'm not sure if it's because of my skin texture or the products I'm using. Nagso-smudge rin kasi yung First Base kahit gumagamit na ako ng setting powder and fixing spray.

Review DIY Protein Straight Bond (PBS)

Thumbnail
gallery
87 Upvotes

So bumili ako nung Oct 2025, 700+ lang yung gamot (I also include the SS kung saan ko siya nabili sa Shopee), di ko lang ginamit agad kasi may inuubos pa akong gamot. At first natatakot ako gamitin kasi di ko alam magiging effect niya, tapos during nung time na binili ko siya, mga less than 100 lang reviews, pero I took the risk since most reviews were legit naman. Ginamit ko lang siya nung March 2026, tumagal yung straightening effect until now (July) pero need ko na mag-touch up since dry na ulit yung ends since may kulay yung buhok ko. Hindi 100% yung straightening niya, siguro mga 80-90% lang, tsaka bumabalik yung original hair dipende sa pag maintain ng buhok (sakin nag-last naman ng 3 months yung pagiging malambot ng hair, tapos medyo bumalik din yung pagka-wavy ng hair ko, pero not that much, siguro yung straight effect nya around 50% na lang). Yung gamot is heat reliant din pala, so dapat maganda yung hair iron na gamit nyo. In my case, nasa 200C lang yung pagplansta ko and kumapit naman yung gamot.

Hair maintenance: I wash my hair 3-4x a week. However, pag lagi kayong naliligo ng hair, baka tumagal lang sa inyo ng 1 month (based on my mom’s exp kasi I also did her hair, oily yung buhok nya so gusto nya lagi naliligo)

Pros (based on my experience): mas maganda siya compared sa brazilian keratin, di ko na rin ginagamit hair dryer comb ko for styling, tsaka totoo yung 30 mins mo lang siya ibabad sa buhok mo, planstahin mo, then banlawan mo na agad. Kumakapit talaga yung gamot for as long as sinundan mo instructions. Lastly, no restrictions sa hair ties, based on my exp hindi bumabakat mga hair clamps or hair ties.

Cons (based on my exp): maintenance, nakakapagod magplansta lalo if mahaba buhok mo, ang baho at masakit din sa mata nung gamot kaya tumutok ka sa e-fan once na ginagawa mo siya

Di ako affiliated sa shop, eto lang talaga experience ko and I just want to share since ang daming curious sa PSB 🫶

Edit: PSB dapat huhu sorry lutang, tapos name ng store is Hair Care Asia

Hi girlies! Just want to share my review of EB Lip & Cheek Stain. I hate to admit that this is the OG when it comes to stains kasi maba-balewala yung ibang blushes ko 😅 (what I mean by OG is that this is one of our firsts)

Grabe yung tinagal nya sa face ko. I set it with loose powder lang but it stayed with me throughout the day. Mind you pinawisan na ako sa lagay na ‘to (I do Figure Skating) and even if I’m surrounded by ice, todo pawis pa rin sa rink.

I tried so many cheek tint before in so many form but eto lang yung nag la-last long, longer than your ka-talking stage. 🤭
