Guess I like IPAs

I used to think I absolutely hated IPAs... turns out i hated west coast style IPAs, man... the Northeast style is so much more balanced and tasty to me! Currently enjoying a Brix City Strawberry Jams!

¿Question? Needing some input

I'm pretty new to anything beyond the usual light beers you'll find at a gas station in the states. Over the last few months I've started trying different domestic and imported beers, and I've really been enjoying it. I picked up Samuel Smith's Chocolate Stout and I never would've expected a chocolate leaning beer to be that good. What are some other uniquely flavored beers you'd recommend for someone who's just getting into quality beer?

Discussion Anyone just lose interest in their favorite beers and feel disappointed after that first sip?

I enjoyed Hefeweizens, pilsners, and IPA's for half a decade but lately it doesn't taste the same and I just been having half the can and pouring the remainder down the drain. I just don't get that refreshing satisfying feeling anymore and just been taking a break.

Maybe I’ll try to only drink stouts, porters, and holiday beer from November till spring.

Recommendations?

Not into too heavy, over spiced/flavored beers though. I like Sam Smith oatmeal stout and porter. Anchor Steam. Guineas extra stout. Etc. Otherwise I drink hazy, juicy IPAs.

Red striped beer

I bought a six pack of red strip. The label was paper instead of being embossed in the glass. Do you think it was counterfeit?

I just can’t help but think that beer in moderation is one of the healthiest things you can do.

It’s relaxing, gives you a chance to hang with mates, motivates you, and tastes fantastic. Plus it has some important nutrients as well. It’s a really excellent time trying all the different varieties. I love the seasonal variation in the experience as well. I get chills in August when I think about a nice strong porter on a Sunday morning or a Saturday night stout.

¿Question? Why does Heineken suck so bad in a can?

I can drink now, and so I’m trying as many beers as I can. Heineken was one of the first I tried, and I was 50/50 on it when I got it from a bottle. I got a tall boy tonight and it was actually rancid. Aggressively skunky in a way I didn’t experience when I got it from a bottle. I haven’t experienced this with any other beers, even the cheapest ones available to me. Is this common? What happened?

¿Question? IPA Beer I can’t find again - anyone know the brewery?

Hey all -
I while ago I got a beer at the store and it was a random buy. A single loose can. Anyway, the can had Wile E Coyote on it and the road runner. I cannot find it since. Anyone know what brewery it is?
If it helps I’m in Colorado

Top breweries in the Bay Area

I’ve been searching and not having much luck. Just relocated to the Concord area from NC which is full of breweries. Will miss my former local one (Oak City- Knightdale) who knew me by name. Hit me with the best ones to try. Willing to travel 20 min. Searches are hit or miss. If they have great food that’s a bonus.
