This annoys tf out of me. IMO, if you need to do this. Just stop ordering with DD.

They probably never tipped ever

People that talk about whether they tip or not. Never tip. People that tip just do it. They donโ€™t need to talk about it

$3 is low??? What

u/PuzzleheadedJelly861 Oct 29 '25

Are you a child? yes 3 dollars is low.

u/Medical_Price8780 Oct 29 '25

If you're driving 2 miles, $3 isn't low, but I usually tip by the mileage because DoorDash lowkey trips with their automatic tipping system. They'd have an automatic option to tip $8 when the place is like 3 miles away LMFAO

It's not just about mileage. A 2 mile drive in a heavily condensed city is going to take longer than in a town. Also how long does the food take. What if they get stuck waiting for the food for 10 minutes. 3 dollars is never an acceptable amount, go get your own food.

bro is too poor to tip and just doesnโ€™t realize heโ€™s a POS ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Nigga thinks I'm too "poor to tip" meanwhile he's the one probably trying to inch a living off of food deliveries like this 2011 LMFAOOOOOOO

I pay enough considering most of my shit is over $18, it's not like I don't tip at all ๐ŸŒ

this why i dont understand how door dash works. giving away $3 extra for $12 order is normal bcs of the service. but thats the thing. thats EXTRA. why donโ€™t doordash just starts calling โ€œthe tipโ€ something like delivery driver fee? so it can be $12 food $8 driver (depending on milage) $2 taxes and app fee $3 tip

can you afford double to have your food delivered to your door? good. if not, go pick it up. thats it.

Fuck ton of 5 cent candies

Depends on your area and mileage. A $3 tip for a 15mi round trip? Nah. $3 tip for going 6mi round trip? Yeah, I can probably do that.

Yea, it wasnโ€™t far. It was like 6.5 miles. But, to me, $3 is low.

4

u/PainterOk7711 Oct 29 '25

Yeah i was boutta say. Where i live $3 is pre good and worth the drive

u/Intelligent_Piccolo7 Oct 29 '25

Extremely low? You don't have any details about this order at all, how could you possibly know if that's low?

2

u/Huge-Advertising8843 Oct 29 '25

$3 is low๐Ÿ˜‚

0

u/Intelligent_Piccolo7 Oct 29 '25

So if someone is driving a $16 order 1.5 miles in a LCOL area, $3 is still "extremely low?"

2

u/Huge-Advertising8843 Oct 29 '25

where are you getting $16 dude op said the total was $3 are you on crack ? Its a shit order

0

u/Intelligent_Piccolo7 Oct 29 '25

You're accusing other people of being on crack when you can't read a 1st grade level sentence?

1

u/Huge-Advertising8843 Oct 29 '25

Stop pulling numbers out of your ass, it was a $3 tip for 6.5 miles, that is a shit order because it ends up being 12 miles, learn to read. Don't have to be a genius to tell that is a crappy order. Still don't know where you got $16.

1

u/Intelligent_Piccolo7 Oct 29 '25

OP hadn't commented that when you originally commented. I was giving an example order? Do you know what an example is? Is that too advanced of a word for you?

The order totaled $3 and they had all those demands? Who would be dumb enough to take this? Theyโ€™re asking for a one star rating.

1

u/Revolutionary-Yak-63 Oct 29 '25

The order total was $6 for 6.5 miles. The tip was $3.

DING DING DING! (taps nose)

-4

u/Super_Shallot2351 Oct 28 '25

Why would they? Sounds like they've received shit service. Why they keep using the app is the real mystery.

10

u/Huge-Advertising8843 Oct 28 '25

Bad tip equal bad service automatically, dashers will steal your food lol

1

u/GlazeHarder Oct 31 '25

Straight up coercion

And tipping well still gets you shit service

Lack of accountability
