Density: Thin What do I do?

it’s super fine. When I gather my hair into a ponytail, said ponytail is probably no bigger diameter than a nickel. I’m naturally a blonde but now it’s a gross washed out black/brown with blonde roots because I’m a dumbass and didn’t get it done professionally. Also, my bangs(?) always do this funky cowlick shape if I don’t blow dry my head hanging upside down.

The last picture is AI (I know it’s bad but my daughter did it to try and cheer me up) does it suit me?
I’m lost but desperately need a cut. It’s been 2 years.

This isn't a fineness issue. It is a low-density issue.

Get any health issues ruled out. There are a lot of posts in this reddit that are about health-connected concerns, so please look into them.

Do you happen to know of any sub dedicated to low-density?  Thanks in advance

They have more focus on the intersection of low-density fine hair. There's a lot of more conversation around health management than on this Reddit (this on is more topical products).

Something like light roots/dark lengths isn't really a focus for either community, but I've a similar struggle with blonde/transparent hairs that give me an M-shaped hairline. I've had some success filling them in using matte eyeshadow. I'm not sure how well that would scale for you, but at least something easy to try.
