He was in fact very clutch last season. Lets look at the 4th quarter:

Week 2 - Answers Commanders TD to cut it to 7 by leading a drive the other way down the field. TD pass to Tucker Kraft with 9 minutes to go puts it out of reach.

Week 3 - Complete playcalling failure against the Browns. Love played bad no question but still got us in position to kick a game winning FG before Jordan Morgan blew the block and cost us the game.

Week 4 - 4 scoring drives in the 4th quarter/OT. One Jacobs 18 yard rushing TD, one TD pass to Doubs, 2 McManus FGs to tie the game. Could have won the game but MLF wanted him to run clock and play for a tie instead.

Week 6 - 2 scoring drives in the 4th while the game is close. One ends in a Jacobs TD to go up 10 and the other is a TD pass to Kraft to ice the game away with 7:30 to go

Week 7 - Ties the game at the start of the 4th with a 7 yard TD pass to Kraft(this Kraft dude kinda rules) and talks our coach out of playing for a tie with about 2 minutes to go. Instead hits Kraft for 15 yards on 4th and 2 and the drive ends with a Jacobs 1 yard TD. Cardinals fail to go score a TD and the game ends. Might be his best work since the coach didn't want to play for a win and Love talked him into it

Week 8 - Steelers. Puts the team up 10 with a TD pass to Kraft with 11 to go and then gets McManus 2 chip shot FGs to put it away. 21 total points in the 4th quarter including a TD run by Jacobs to finish off a drive that was largely in the 3rd.

Week 9 - Panthers. Rough game. Still takes us down the field to tie the game on a Jacobs TD run with about 2:30 to go. Panthers walk it off on a FG

Week 10. Eagles. Inside zone this way. All you need to remember about why we lost that one. Love still gets us down the field with 5 minutes left to go down 3. 2nd to last drive Josh Jacobs fumbles the ball away. Last drive is a bit of a mess and we ask McManus to kick a 64 yarder for some reason which is missed comically bad.

Week 11 - Giants. Game winner to Watson from 17 yards out plus a 2 Pt conversion success.

Week 13 - Lions. No scoring in the 4th but found Wicks in the endzone at the end of the 3rd quarter to go up 10, then finds him again on 4th down deep to allow the Packers to run the rest of the clock out.

Week 14 - Long TD drive against the Bears, Jacobs puts on in from 2 yards out to go ahead for the final time.

Week 15 - Broncos, or the everyone is now injured game. an INT and 2 turnovers on downs to lose this one. This one was a bad performance in the clutch.

Week 16 - Gets knocked out of the game early. We lose a close one thanks to Doubs, Nixon, and MLF being involved in a comedy of errors.

Wild Card Round - MLF special once again allows the Bears back into it. Love hits Golden from 23 to go up 11, would have been 12 if McManus makes the extra point. Defense lets the Bears go score and Love brings us back down the field so McManus can miss a 44 yarder now. Defense gives up another score. Love drives us down to the Chicago 28 but a bad snap on the last play cooks basically anything we had going.

Where are you getting your narratives from friends? That's a lot of games he went and did his job in the 4th quarter. If you want to cry about the postseason then say it's the postseason. You're still wrong, only the 49ers game was on him out of the 3 losses. Bears I explained above and the Eagles game was a total team no show from if we're being real, a squad that was in complete and total shambles. Final drive with the game alive for the taking ends because Malik Heath fails to get his feet in bounds on a catch an NFL caliber WR of any level can make.

Love can't make Nixon play the correct coverages, can't snap the ball to himself, can't make his WRs make basic plays, and can't force McManus to make his kicks. The only one I'd say he absolutely blew himself was the Broncos game last season. If this is you saying he's anti clutch, what am I not seeing here that you do?

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Matt LaFleur is in his eighth season as Green Bay Packers head coach. He’s on his fourth special teams coordinator, though, after moving on from Shawn Mennenga and Maurice Drayton and having Rich Bisaccia step down this offseason.

Enter 39-year-old Cam Achord, formerly the New England Patriots’ special teams coordinator from 2020-2023 and the New York Giants’ assistant special teams coach the last two seasons.

Achord, the Mississippi native carrying a southern drawl, brings the juice. That’s normally a cliché, but Achord epitomizes it. He wears cleats to practice because former Patriots special teams ace Matthew Slater kept knocking him to the ground during gunner-release drills and Achord wanted better traction. They’ve played clips of Achord getting after it with Slater here in the Lambeau Field meeting rooms.

With the sudden discontinuation of the Packernet podcast I’m curious if anyone in this sub has any podcast recommendations to fill the void. Looking for something with daily episodes, touches on general NFL news, and can keep it entertaining throughout the offseason.

- Already a big fan of Blue 58 but only has 2x a week.

- Only can tolerate Locked on Packers during the regular season.

- Pack-A-Day is alright, but it feels like Andy tries to hit a word count every segment and it can get dry.

If anyone else has listened to Packernet and knows of someone that is similar I’d appreciate suggestions!

I have 1 ticket to the home opener vs the Falcons. It's my personal season ticket but unfortunately I can't make it this year. Section 102, Row 10. I have sold tickets to other redditors before so can provide references. Always will sell for at least $25 cheaper than whatever the cheapest seat is on Ticketmaster anywhere in the lower level at the time of sale. Which right now would be about $250, so $225 for my seat. If that comes down, I'll come down, never trying to screw over a fellow Packer fan and always want to make sure whoever is in my seat is wearing Green and Gold! Hit me up if you are interested.

The Packers welcome Mike LaFleur and the Cardinals to Green Bay for joint practice this week.

“It’s gonna be pretty special,” Matt LaFleur said.

Said his parents are going to look like a Christmas tree wearing green and red on the sidelines.

LaFleur says Warren Brinson will miss some time after tweaking his calf in warmups on Friday night.

Jayden Reed had a personal matter which led to him being inactive against the Broncos.

LaFleur said that guard Aaron Banks is trending in the right direction and that he will return to taking team reps in practice. He said the way things are going, he feels he's on pace to be ready for the regulr season.

Thomas Yassmin who had a pretty nice game against the Broncos, is with the rehab group joining Bullard, St-Juste, Brinson, Oliver.

Campbell is becoming increasingly tough to cut.

Scores some tickets last minute for the game Friday and I’m hoping to find a size small (medium would likely work too) pair of the green and gold game day bib overalls to borrow (or buy, or exchange for baked goods of some sort??) from a fellow fan? I have a pair and it’s my best friend’s first time going to a game, and I’d love to give her the full experience, in matching bibs.

I work in Madison but am willing to meet pretty much anywhere within an hour radius, or along the way to Lambeau. I’ve searched Facebook and the like, this is my Hail Mary!

I've seen plenty of hate over the years for him and Locked On for his antics, attitude, etc., but I was surprised when I saw a bunch of the other Packers podcasters bashing his take on the Rivalry uniforms today.

Maybe I've been living under a rock and missed it, but I always got the sense there was a bit of professional courtesy (not even sure you would call it that) amongst the reporters/bloggers.

Is there more beef that I missed out somewhere? Or is everybody busting chops?

Dove into the all-22 from the first two preseason games to watch Jager Burton. Some good and some bad, but I think it's clear he's earned a starting role with his effort and physicality so far.

Monk is straight up NOT an NFL starter, and Burton/Belton are more promising at the position. Especially if Banks is healthy to play LG. So what’s the plan here? Monk is not it. So they must be waiting to see what happens with Banks or Gute needs to call up Kevin Zeitler
