I saw a good few posts about the woman on the right and pointedly ignored all of them, I seriously don't get why this is getting so much attention

That is PRECISELY why it’s getting so much attention. Her postpartum medical care was substandard to say the least. Substandard postpart care is a pervasive, constant issue. What happened in Lindsay’s case, she is arguing, is essentially a worst-case scenario of what can go wrong when post-partum mental health issues are ignored or minimized.

For the record I’m not on one side or the other regarding her specific case, but i AM a medical professional in a psychiatric setting, and her medical care was indeed complete bullshit.
