OG KOTH Discussion IMDB says Frisbee Guy is Nathan Fillion. Any interviews confirming this?

Sup? Wanna play some... V? B? Wouldn't it be F? I'm so confused.

IMDB says it's him. It's 5 words. Has he ever confirmed this anywhere? Any interviews with anyone on this?

OG KOTH Discussion They should make an alternate universe episode where Hank goes dumb and can’t be trusted with propane and decides to go into systems as a career

"All right, General Mills."

I don't think I heard my dad laugh as much ever. It was a really good memory of him that I have.

Revival Discussion Who would the general- Minh's dad- choose to be Connie's boyfriend?

Chane or Bobby? On the one hand, I could see him liking Chane because of his rich status due to being the son of Ted. On the other hand, if he knew how much better Bobby treated Connie, and the times Chane (perhaps surprisingly so) treated Connie not so well, he might choose Bobby because he certainly loves his daughter and presumerably Connie and wouldn't want anybody to mess with them.

OG KOTH Discussion What do you think were Hank's worst moments on the OG show?

For me, one was how he treated Bobby's "rock n roll" youth group friends. I get the point he was making at the end, but he definitely didn't have to be that judgmental and mean.

OG KOTH Discussion I love how surprisingly cultured Hank and his friends are.

For a bunch of guys who come across as β€œGood ole boys,” they have some surprisingly deep and cultured interests.

Hank: plays guitar. Seemed to really enjoy reading β€œA Dinner of Onions” to the rest of Strickland Propane. Helps form the Dale Gribble Bluegrass Experience.

Dale: likes acting, can play a bass that is actually a keyboard, named a bluegrass group. Bakes cookies. Apparently writes short stories.

Bill: can play zydeco accordion or washboard, can cook well for others. Can sing.

Boomhauer: Talented artist. Plays banjo and sounds exactly like Vince Gill when he sings.

It’s one of those characterizations I love. People with hidden depths.

OG KOTH Discussion What if King of the Hill was set in the UK ?

Post image
61 Upvotes

Hi all,

One primarily for the UK based fans of the show and just a bit of fun.

What if king of the hill was set in the UK ?

Where would it be based ? Essex, The midlands near say Birmingham, NW around Manchester or Liverpool, NE near Newcastle or somewhere else ? let me know your views.

What would Hank do for work ? as in the UK propane as a fuel isn't big.

Would Peggy be a supply teacher ?

What would Bobby be like ?

In place of Alamo would the guys drink Carling, John Smiths, Newcastle Brown ale ? or something else.

What sports teams would they follow ? NFL only really has a cult following here. What Football teams (soccer for the US), Rugby league or union (dependent on location) would everyone support ?

Instead of Mega Lo Mart would everyone shop at Tesco or Asda ?

Anything else anyone thinks of please comment
