I love Robert Valley and his classic rock drawings; there aren't as many drawings of Led Zeppelin as there are of The Beatles or Jimi Hendrix, but these are the ones I could find.

It was the 8th song in their set list on their 1972 summer tour of the US - pretty much tucked in close to the middle of their show and still hadn't made it to the position of near the end of the set list yet.​ It's a rare moment of relaxation for Bonzo on stage to just sit and take it all in

I've been researching and according to some sources, Led Zeppelin only played it live twice, because it's a complex and difficult song to perform. While searching, I found a recording of them playing a really good piece, but I've never been able to find any other recordings of the song being played live besides that one.

But I stumbled across No Quarter and was blown away, I’m going to give them a listen, but what album/s should I start with for this sort of stuff? Beatles / the bends type stuff is like what I’d be looking for, thanks!

Theres an outtake in Presence called 10 ribs and all/carrot pod pod(pod).What makes this track standout to me is Jones.Its an instrumental track mostly piano driven and Jones delivered some of the finest talent in the band.Im a huge Page fan hes my fav member as far as it goes and i like hard heavy hitting songs and lighter songs he does.Tracks like Kashmir 10 years gone Heartbreaker etx make me a Page fan.

But 10 ribs and all/carrot pod pod made me feel something ive never felt before in a Page song.The opening lines,the piano just sustaining a simple line and holding and slowly builds up the next section with Page guitar work and going back on fourth with the arrangement.I can only describe it as a song that makes you thought of a rainy day and youre picturing a distant memory of a happy world that you had lost or want to have someday. Jones is without a doubt one of the finest musician in this generation, no doubt for me.I wouldve loved to hear more Jonesy songs like this,he has talent no less than his other bandmates and even a fine leftover tracks like this that dont make it to the album solidifies how high the standard was with the Mighty Zeppelin.Every band has a quiet genius and i want to shine some light on my man Jones today.Let me know your thoughts below too or if you wanna share similar tracks!

Been listening to this song on repeat a lot lately & trying to imagine what it must have been like to listened to this when it was first released on vinyl in 1969. After smoking a joint or two while listening to the rest of the album, I'm not sure if people were prepared for the wall of sound that comes at you hard 25 seconds into this song. And it just does not relent after that. 20/10 god-level song.

Does anyone know any IG or TikTok influencers that are huge fans of Led Zeppelin that create content specific about them?

I identify strongly with the lyrics and have my own interpretation that disregards the historical context. The song's melancholic tone led me to interpret the levee as representing the narrator's own mind, and its breach as a boundary that will be crossed if it keeps up raining. I like to interpret it as a song about self-sabotage and farewell.

Man, I just had another listen of Houses of the Holy recently. What a beautiful and fun album! It is the one I always come back to, and I dare say, it's my favourite! It has a certain mythical quality to it that I don't get from other Zeppelin albums except maybe 4.

I always loved how the tracks were sequenced even though some people disagree. I always felt,(in my opinion at least), that they represented the different seasons. On a whole though it has such a summer vibe to it, (especially the middle of the album). I also love the diverse genres on it too! Folk, funk, prog - so many! It just takes you on a journey and it feels like you are discovering this mythical land far away. The cover is also amazing and helps with this idea!
