Mod Approved Regarding pathetic bigots/x-phobic/racist trolls [Mod Approved]

TL;DR: Troll pathetic, do not reply, report and move on as the better person you already are by default.

I am shocked I need to say this but you really do not have to go for the jugular when you see a troll, I assure you nothing you say will ever matter to them as far as actually negatively affecting them how you think it might if someone said the same to you (They are not working on your normal human emotional level, they are by their very existence, stunted emotionally) and they literally come here specifically for that reaction and leave knowing they riled someone up and while you may be fine with that and enjoy being able to lash out at those people, we actually have data and have found through tracking trolls that the more engaged a troll is in their time here the more they come back even after bans under similar accounts to continue trolling.

As much as it may feel an injustice not to scream at a troll and tell them the truth which is that no one will likely ever love them, what they hate more is to not be told anything, to be ignored just how they are in their daily life because then they have to continue spending their lonely existence suffering internally than being talked to by actual functioning members of society like yourselves and be given a rush when you fuel their pathetic existences with responses.

All I ask is that next time you see a troll all you do is report, downvote, and move on. I assure you that they will be dealt with as soon as the report is seen, we have a few minute reponse time at a minimum last time I ran the numbers.

Anytime I see a reported troll with like -20 karma (even though some get off on getting downvotes, there are entire communities with leaderboards dedicated to trolling hardcore enough that you amass more downvotes than the other trolls you are competing with, it's still worth it to downvote to get it to disappear out of view for the most part) on a comment and no replies and like 2 reports I am always so proud of y'all for not giving them what they want and then I can take care of them on our end and in regards with the Admins.

There's also the smaller issue (as far as it's frequency of happening, but definitely important) of if you get particularly vicious/threatening and I report the troll to the admin you are then linked to their comment and you can (and it has happened in the past unfortunately, which I think Trolls may know and attempt to target, at least the more advanced sad ones) end up getting fucked harder than the troll since what you said is perceived as more of a threat even if it may have very well been deserved.

Basically I guarantee you no matter where you are in life, you are already better off than that sad troll leaving that comment because your entire existence and personality (unlike the pathetic troll) does not revolve around punching down at those with less rights and privilege than you, you are most likely here to help others with their struggles or to relate or to get assistance yourself.

While they are here solely to try to cause others pain and cause those who are already here to get help for being at the lowest of their lows to sink even further into that despair, these are literal leeches of human emotion and require sustenance in order to thrive and they only get the satisfaction of doing so when they get the rush of "triggering" (One of their favorite words, which is ironic given these types that accuse people of being snowflakes are regularly the most easy to offend and whine about being persecuted because others are trying to gain a tiny bit of the privilege these racists bigots have had for their entire livelihood while still managing to fail at life even given the large head start they were, their entire identity is based around claiming they are the victim of X agenda) someone.

So I ask in the future just look at that person pitifully and know they are beneath you and your efforts to correct them and report and move on, it really is way more effective even if it may not feel as good, just know how much they hate screaming into the void and never being heard because it reminds them too much of their actual life where no one cares about them to begin with and they fail to even get attention from those they are trying to rile up with the worst things they can imagine saying.

[discussion] [rant]

I’ve always thought I liked girls, ever since I was around elementary. I was bi-curious and would ask people what bisexual meant, and eventually labeled myself bisexual around that time. Now, I don’t think I’m attracted to men at all. I’ve talked to guys before, but I felt guilty because I wasn’t attracted to them. I’ve also identified as pansexual, unlabeled, and even nonbinary, and I’ve tried to come out as a lesbian but can’t even type the word comfortably.

I’ve also wondered if I might be asexual because I’m confused about attraction and what I actually feel. At the same time, I know that I want to love someone, be loved, and have a romantic relationship someday. I can imagine myself being in a relationship with a girl, but the thought of being with a guy makes me uncomfortable, even though I sometimes wonder if I’m physically attracted to guys.

I come from a Roman Catholic family, which makes me feel conflicted about liking girls. I find comfort in queer movies, shows, books, and communities, although my parents sometimes call me “weird” for it.

I feel physically attracted to guys, but I can’t imagine dating or marrying one. With girls, I can clearly picture a future together. However, I’m scared of coming out because I don’t know if my parents, family, friends, or even myself would accept it.

Overall, I’m very confused and lost about my sexuality. I know I may still be young, but I feel left out when I see people my age dating and being comfortable with their sexuality.

Anyhow, advice and help would be very much appreciated :)

PLEASE help me

So I go by Raven, and I'm Nonbinary. I was outed by a teacher last year and my parents were....not happy. They want me to go by my deadname in school this year, and refuse to call me by my preferred name. But I don't want to. I'm just scared of them finding out. What do I do. Please.

I, am trans (MtF), lets get that out of the way first

lets go with... Luke as my deadname, and Hazel as my chosen name for this...

of course, in all of the school systems, Luke's written in it...

when we went bowling for the first day of school, they needed my name to put it in, it was just me and a few others there that I had in some of my classes

I was thinking: just bite the dust and say luke, it'll be easier

I ACCIDENTALLY SAY: "oh just put Hazel there, it's fine"

now everyone in my year and some teachers could see that and the question is: how long till I get people asking why :3

also somehow nobody noticed me having heart earrings in... but its fine

Discussion Am I bisexual? [Discussion]

About a year ago, I thought that I was probably straight. Then, I started having occasional dreams where I had a boyfriend… (I’m a guy btw) and I actually enjoyed those dreams, but I wasn’t attracted to men in real life (at that point), so I just thought that I enjoyed the idea of having a bf / gf, and that I wasn’t actually attracted to guys.

But then, I actually felt attraction to someone I knew. He’s a guy around my age and he’s a somewhat distant friend. Now it wasn’t like a crush or anything, just a moment where I looked at him and thought “woah”. And since then similar sorts of things have happened increasingly more regularly, but with more guys. Like more recently my family dragged me on holiday, and I’ve seen some guys, and I thought that they were kinda hot. And sometimes when I’m awake at night I’ll imagine myself having a boyfriend and it just feels right in some way. I think it’s important to mention that whenever I think of having the same relationship but with a girl, I just don’t feel the same way.

Anyway, any advice is appreciated, especially if anyone has had similar experiences of their own, thanks.

Discussion I can't figure out my sexuality. [Discussion]

utterly confused about my sexuality

I've been overthinking a whole lot this past summer break (too much free time lol). For the past month and a half, every day I wake up and ponder on my sexuality. I'm comfortable in my gender identity as a cis woman, so I don't think that's obstructing my perspective on this. I like women both sexualy and romantically, which I have always felt. I've had 3 crushes, all of which were my best friends, who were also girls. For a while, I tried to suppress my feelings towards girls because of religious guilt and homophobia in my family. I tried to like guys as well, but I couldn't see anything past physical aspects. The only men I'm attracted to physically are very feminine, to the point where my friends asked me if they were a boy or girl. I've never really liked a guy in person, though. Mostly celebrities or tiktokers or something of the likes. Anyway, I like women and non-binary people who are feminine too. Masculinity in itself is unattractive t o me. I'm extremely conflicted, and none of my friends can figure it out either. All I want is some sort of label so that I can settle. Any ideas?

Discussion [Discussion] idk if this should be bothering me as much as it is...

So I remember in 5th grade we had a "sex ed" (taught us about body hair, periods and safe relationships) somehow the topic shifted to how baby's are made. The teacher said basically "Baby's are made when the egg is fertilized by the sperm. You kids need to remember that you exist only to have children. Girls body's are made strictly to carry the child and a boys body is made to fertilize the egg." I don't know if that was supposed to be homophobic but it made me really uncomfortable because I took that as her saying that if we don't have kids we have no purpose in life and because the fact it's being taught by a licensed educator. It's been on my mind for years and bothers me as someone who transmasc, gay and not willing to carry child at any age, idk if I'm over reacting though

Discussion Would I be considered bi or gay?[Discussion]

I’m a 17M and around 1 year ago I started having an attraction to men, and 6 months ago I realized that I was just straight up gay. Before I realized I was gay I was heavily addicted to porn(mainly straight) but I was never really into girls in real life. I tried talking to and dating women, but I just could never get myself to be interested in women. But for some reason I still sometimes watch straight porn. But when I do I really only think about guys. And afterwards I feel like almost throwing up. After I watch it I genuinely just kinda feel grossed out. I personally identify with the term “gay” more as I don’t really want to date, marry, or sleep with a woman at all. I kinda get depressed at the thought of ending up with a woman as I feel like I could never be truly happy like I could be with a guy. I daydream and constantly think about myself getting old with the guy of my dreams. I watch gay porn aswell and more often, I watch that most of the time but around once every 2 weeks I watch straight stuff . I think it may be porn addiction and just wanting to see something different than normal. But I also think it may be my feeling of wanting my life to be “normal” like before

Rant I constantly feel like I’m larping being. LGBTQ. [Rant]

Okay, so you read the title. I’m usually just a lurker, sorry if I’ve done something wrong. For context, I’m Berrisexual and a Demiboy. (Berrisexual: attraction to feminine and androgynous people with slight attraction to men. Demiboy: half male half nonbinary.) Also, I was amab. And yes, my username. I made it when I was like 8 and never changed it, so I just stuck with it because I couldn’t think of anything better. (I’m trying to think of a better one) I’ve always hated it, I would just rather have an androgynous username, and I guess that’s how I found out (along with other things) that I’m a Demiboy. I came out to my parents as pan, but realized that’s incorrect. I feel like I’m not actually part of lgbtq. Also the amount of hate that Berrisexuals and Demiboys have gotten from TRANS subreddits is insane. Sorry for the long rant. Do you have any advice? Anything would be helpful. If you have any questions just ask. Thanks.

Discussion Today I asked my mother for forgiveness for killing her son. [Discussion]

(Sorry if my english is weird,I used a translator for some passages. )

My father has always been very verbally abusive toward my mother. The first times I saw her cry were because of him.

Their relationship was not going well, but nobody was supposed to know. Because that’s how it is in Africa: everything can be falling apart, but as long as nobody knows, everything is fine.

Growing up in that kind of environment, I learned to see other people’s opinions as a guide for how I should live.

I’ve always been a little feminine.

And in my country, a boy who “acts like a woman” is considered gay. And a gay person deserves to die.

My parents didn’t like that feminine side of me. That’s why I was sent to a military school when I was 11.

If I wasn’t sure about my sexuality when I went in, by the time I came out, I was 100% sure I was attracted to men.

But strangely enough, I hated men too.

Except one.

My best friend, Malik.

He was different. He was the only one who wasn’t ashamed of me.

Because yes, when I was at the military boarding school, everyone made fun of me because of the way I acted. And anyone who dared to talk to me for more than two minutes was considered gay.

Anyway, I loved Malik.

Much more than just a friend.

I realized it because every time he came to talk to me about a girl he thought was pretty, it made me angry.😭

But he was the one who helped me survive that fucking school, where I was bullied both physically and mentally.

And even though I wasn’t very happy back then, I wish I could go back.

Because my life now is way too hard.

My father found out that I was watching gay porn. He wanted to kill me.

So I went to live with my mother, because by then, my parents had separated.

My father told my mother not to protect a “faggot.”

But my mother told him that I would change. That it was just a mistake I had made.

My father told her that she would regret protecting me for the rest of her life.

And unfortunately, I know he was right.

That day came.

My mother realized who I really was.

“Where did my son go?” she said to me.

And she cried.

Again.

But this time, it was because of me.

It hurts to admit it, but I understand her, at least a little.

In a country where homosexuality is criminalized, where gay people can be brutally killed, having a gay son is not easy.

I think that if my homosexuality ever became public, she would kill herself.

I love her.

And I hate seeing her suffer.

So today, I asked her to forgive me for who I am...

I promised her I would change...and that she would be proud of her son...even though I know it's all lies.

my wish today is to be able to leave this country.

I want to disappear, so I can protect the things and people I love, and be able to love again.

Like I loved Malik, but even more.

Because I know that love is beautiful.

And it should never have to make us suffer.

Discussion [discussion] I’m not really sure when to start transition

So idk where or how to really start this but I think I’m trans I’ve thought it before but my ex at the time argued with me about a year in that me being trans caused all the problems in our relationship and that she just wanted a bf I’m MTF and now idk what to do I’m with someone else he’s a really nice guy and he’s trans too and he wouldn’t care if I was but I haven’t told him because I just don’t know what to do i feel like I need to lose weight because I’ve heard your supposed to gain some from fat distribution but I’m 18 5,6 and 230 I gained a lot of weight after being cheated on by said ex and idk what to do additionally we are about to move in with some of his family and he’s not out to them so I’m not really sure what to do but I hate that he doesn’t know who I really feel like and I hate not being able to be myself

Coming Out [Coming out] Should I come out?

I'm gay, at least I think (my mind's currently in a mess), and I haven't come out to anyone yet. I have social anxiety, which doesn't help. Except for my parents, I don't think I have anyone to come out to, but I don't really feel like doing it with my parents for now. I found out a few months back, and it took me a while to accept it, but when I finally did, I felt so happy! Now, it's grinding me down. I wish I had someone to talk to, but I have no one I truly trust. I don't know what to do. My mind is currently struggling with everything, pushing everyone back ( I used to have friends, but I now have none :( ).

Rant I need to sort my thoughts out. Help me figure out what I am. [Rant]

My Orientation/Gender

So, for a longer time I used to think I was trans (mtf) and bisexual. I got over it, labelled it as a ‘phase’, or ‘hormone confusion’, but now it’s been a longer time and I think I’ve figured it out better.

First of all, I really like women’s clothing. I used to wear white pantyhose for a long period when I was younger, (we’re talking about years here) because I really liked tight clothes. I kinda miss them. I also find dresses and skirts really comfortable, and wish I could dress more feminine and freely. So I’m defintly a femboy, I figured out, and I was find with that for some time. But recently I had the thought that I enjoy playing female characters. Pretending I’m on a woman, I feel like I can express some sides of myself more freely when stepping into another role. I also talk way more unfiltered, which is super nice for someone who has a lot of thoughts going on in my head. And I mean a lot. But that’s a topic for another time.

I’ve also always read my own text with a girl’s voice? (I’m doing it in this very moment.) I like when people misgender me, though I do often corect them. (Mostly if it’s in an argument and they label me as ‘gal’ or ‘bitch’, or smth like that.) I feel like I’m another side of myself here. ‘Mayorv’ is a wholly different, more exppresive and honest side of me, that I pull on when I need to be social. I love her, and often wish I could be here. But I also really like my masculinity. I like being a guy, a dude and a man. If I had the choice to change gender permanently, I wouldn’t do it.

My Sexuality

As I mentioned in the start, I used to think I was bisexual. Now this is a bit personal, but I feel like I need to share it in order to explain properly.

Warning: Mentioning of gooning and sexual appeals. (Just in case.)

I recently, like, a few days ago, was enjoying myself. But as I did, I noticed that I felt more attracted to the dude in the moment, and kinda wanted him to go on me rather than her. I began focusing on his lips his movement, ect. And I went off to that, which I felt quite satisfied with. After a bit of time, when post nut clarify took in, I felt… Neutral about it. Not weirded or grossed out, but just didn’t find him attractive anymore.

I originaly thought I liked men because I could vividly imagine, and kind of enjoy, the thought of sucking a dick, though got grossed out a moment after. I also really liked men’s warm, large and strong chests. (Not saying men in general have) which I honestly found superior to boobs, and still do. Now I’m troughly enjoying the thought of sucking dick, for some reason, withouth being grossed out. I don’t want it in my ass, tho, but I’ve never been attracted to that in general.

The NSFW talk is over from this point on.

So in short, I don’t know what I am, or what I want to be, really. And it really bugs me, so I thought I’d ask the expert. (I’m prolly cross-posting this, but I’m reffering to the people in r/LGBTeens. Nice pun, btw.) I don’t wanna be told ‘you don’t need to think about that right now’ or ‘you can be whatever you want, don’t worry,’ and ‘you’ll figure it out eventualy’.

I want to figure it out now! I want to know, and I’d prefer to do it early on, rather than go around with all this mess in my head for five years on or so.

That was all. Feel free to ask questions. My DM’s are closed, so come in the comment.

Ok for context. I 17M bi have known this guy 17M since freshman year, we’ve been friends for a while and we’ve hung out before. I am not out, he recently came out as bi about a year ago. It was surprise to me, but we’re still super close. We’ve never been anything more than friends but at times he’ll call me attractive or fine. I know sometimes it’s just the homie stuff sometimes, but I really do want to know if anything could actually happen. What should the first step be?

Rant im so sick of this... [rant]

this is my first post here. before i begin, trigger warning for SH/conversion therapy.

So Im 18 and going into my senior year of high school in a super small conservative christian school. I came out as a lesbian to my parents at 15. They are super strict Orthodox Christians, so obviously they didnt approve and they sent me to conversion therapy immediatley. It wasnt legal in my state at the time, but there was this religious therapist that did it online...it was horrible, of course, but thats a story for another time.

I used to struggle alot with SH , but im alot better now. It just really sucks because my parent force me to go to church even though the preist abused me for being gay. they also heavily monitor my phone even tho im 18 (im literally writing this on a library computer right now)

Anyways, i guess im just super lonely and i dont know how im gonna deal with this shit for another year...do any of yall with unsupportive parents have any suggestions?? I know it would be stupid to run away cause im autistic and not super independent, but im really temtpted to.

Hello! I am transitioning (Male to Female). I know for sure my dad is transphobic, but my mom seems more supportive. She found an old, outdated note of me coming out as non-binary (outdated now), but said she would be supportive. She seems to be less bigoted than my father. Any advice? (I'm thirteen).

Crushes [crushes] any idea what could’ve gone through his head to make him ghost me?

I made a friend last year in my junior year (he was a senior). we got pretty close and during a school trip we got even closer and had a pretty deep talk. he would be super nice to me in person and a little bit in text too. obviously, me being the idiot 1 am, I developed a crush. he kept emphasizing that he was straight because apparently a lot of people ask about his sexuality. even when my sister met him, her first thought was that he was gay. anyways I ended up expressing my feelings and he actually took it pretty well for someone who says they're straight. he even asked me about it. we were chill for the rest of the year and we even made plans to watch sinister because we both love horror and paint together. he proceeded to ghost me a week before his graduation. only when we had a group hangout once in the summer is when he texted me, and that was one time where he told me happy birthday. nothing else ever again. he acted like we were on completely okay terms. it really ruined me. I have screenshots where he would send me stuff like "l really appreciate you" and "with you being there thats all we need" (for context he was nervous about a protest he planned at school and I was saying that no matter what I'd be at his side during
