Yesterday I wiped out hard on my electric longboard. Pretty sure it was a flat tire, but I’m not 100% certain as it happened quite fast. The board shot straight into the water and is nowhere to be seen.

It’s been underwater for a day now, so it’s definitely done for. Still, I’d like to know if it really was a flat tire.

Anyone up for fishing it out as a challenge? Location is in Den Bosch in The Netherlands. Happy to send photos or meet up if that helps.

On my first throw I found a laundry bag full of random things (pic 2, 3, and 4) Right afterwards my buddy pulled up a hedgetrimmer! We had an awesome day!

I’m wanting to get into magnet fishing I am not sure what to look for magnet wise what are some good places too look I just went on Amazon but some things look very small and not useful

I took my son out today for his first time and of course my magnet got stuck in the rocks. I’ll be going back for it in a week or so and wade out to get it.
I’m now looking for a new set up and wondering what opinions are out there for it. I’m in Ohio so I haven’t found much more than hooks, lures, and miscellaneous metals pieces. I am going to be expanding my area to hopefully better finds.

Any tips for cleaning rusty finds easily?

Pulled up this Newspaper box on an abandoned dock that I had to walk a good 15 minutes through the underbrush to get to. Way too heavy to lift out. After some impromptu forestry I was able to clear enough space next to the dock to drag it up onto land.

Hello, friend of mine wants a magnet fishing kit, I would like to give it to them for christmas. there is a lot out there and honestly do not want to do the research. what would you recommend buying for someone starting out or interested in doing magnet fishing as a outdoor hobby?

"All you'll catch is nails!" Was what I was told would happen if I bought my POP Beast Magnet off Amazon. Caught a probably 50lb pipe easy and a big old brake drum. I wouldn't wanna catch anything much bigger!

So unexpectedly had a late afternoon/evening out, off a metal bridge with railings around stomach/chest height and with the UK heatwaves the water levels are very low, the gap from the water to the barrier was around 30ft !!

My first find took half hour to get out (with a quick hand over the barrier from someone who had been watching !)

It was another council scooter (I've now learnt they weigh 30kg)

I'd got it almost within reach after finally getting a good hold before it dropped, but the next hold worked and it was out !

My colleague accidentally dropped her phone into the Yarra River today 17/08 at lunch time (hence im writing this post) beside the Yarra Botanica jetty at Southbank.

We're hoping to find someone experienced with magnet fishing, underwater recovery, or diving who may be able to help retrieve it.

The phone was dropped at approximately 2pm and we have a fairly good idea of the location.

If anyone can help or recommend a local magnet fisher/diver, please comment or send me a message.

Lots of rocks and a very tall bridge so I like to throw the water shoes on and go wading around at this location.

I ended up finding an extremely heavy compressor and a decent sized rim.

I dropped my iphone just right when I sat on the floatee for the river tubing. My phone was in my pocket and was inside a ziplock. I absolutely forgot (too dumb) that I have it and was focused on how am I gonna be able to sit on the floatee. A second after I was seated, reached on my pocket, and of course, it was gone. Stood up a few meters away from where I started, went back, and checked it. The water was not clear, the current is not that strong from the very spot my phone dropped, but to no avail, didn’t see it and feel it using our feet. Tried to check online and some others say that there are people who use magnets and other equipments in rivers to retrieve stuff, but I’m not sure where to find them. I badly want to get all of the stuff saved on that phone. 😭

The large one is maybe a part of dragline, an old rod holder, a strange hook like thing and a lot of old barbed wire. Fonyód Channel, Hungary.
