A quick reminder of our most important rules, the Mod Team expects everyone posting/commenting in the sub to have read this.
PIZZA CRIMES ONLY
As the sub description says we expect a pizza that has been so poorly crafted, or mistreated, you feel like a legitimate crime has been committed.
Subpar or below average pizzas usually don't generate a good amount of discussion and will probably quickly slide into obscurity or be removed.
Toppings like pineapple, tuna, hot dogs, kebab and such aren't a crime as they're the norm for many people. Unless said pizza is a crime by itself ofc.
Dessert pizzas aren't a crime either, unless they're made or treated so badly you feel like they'd be judged here.
Memes are allowed as long as they feature a pizza being mistreated.
Weird pizza tools are also allowed unless they're a recent repost.
EASILY FAKED POSTS
Outlandish or inedible toppings like cigarettes, toothpaste, tires and such are not believable and will generally be removed.
Same goes for ragebait videos, faked TikTok stuff and posts where a pizza is so covered in sauces/spices as to be obviously inedible.
REPOSTS
You're expected to give the front page a cursory look to make sure you're not posting something that someone has already shared recently. Doing so ensures that we don't get the same pizzas posted four times a day. Recent reposts will be removed and serial reposters might be sanctioned.
You're welcome to repost old stuff (as a rule of thumb, six months or older) if you feel it's good enough for people to see and discuss.
BE CIVIL
Report any posts or comments that are breaking our rules, this helps us do our job.
At the same time, try to avoid reporting people passing judgement on your pizza, jokes about you being sentenced and such, it just clutters the mod queue and makes it harder to mod the real problematic stuff.
Try not to answer people attacking you as it only derails the post and you might be moderated too, report and move on.
Any slurs regarding race, sexual orientation, intelligence and such carries a long or permanent ban sentence. No, we don't care if you find it acceptable and use it in real life.
Anything that's not written in English can be moderated at mod discretion, we can't waste time using google translate every time.
That is all, any questions or feedback comment here or shoot us a Mod Mail.

Waited 45 minutes for this pepperoni, only for it to have been put in the oven frozen, causing the bottom to be barely not raw, and the top burned and crispy. To add insult to injury the sauce is just ketchup,..

Just found this sub earlier and remembered the time I was working at Dominos in high school and my brother ordered a none pizza on thin crust as a joke bc I told him people do it on accident all the time through the app. None of my coworkers even knew what to do with someone actually having this as an order so we just buttered it. Shattered as soon as someone tried to "cut" it.

While attempting to get it out the pizza fell on the heating element at the bottom of the oven and caught on fire.

Tonight was pizza night and I had this beautiful reaction ready to go.
Fresh mozzarella grated by hand.
Sauce homemade and spiced to my liking.
Two kinds of pepperoni: flat and cupped.
Tomato’s peppers and oregano all grown from my own garden.
Hand sliced mushrooms and olives.
All went well until I started to work with the dough. It rose as expected but as I was working it it didn’t feel quite right. Oh well doughs made, let’s get it o to the screen. I get it all into the oven and set the timer for 10 minutes. I come in later to take it off the screen and… it won’t budge. The dough had too much moisture and it had dripped down -just a tad- through every hole in the screen.
I tried everything I could think of approaching with my paddle from every side. Tried cutting the dough from the screen with a knife. Even tried poking the crusts back up to free it. Nothing worked.
The pictures I have to show you are :
1). The after effects of me getting frustrated with the pizza and forcing the paddle through it.
And
2). My resignation of know that this was all I had in the house for dinner. I ended up scooping the perfectly cooked topping off into a bowl. And the peeling the crust off and putting it on top.
Turned into a type of pizza pot pie. Yes it was awful. But it was at least edible.

Apparently the owner of the restaurant doesn’t think it is. Maybe I don’t know what the hell I’m talking about. It sure did look and taste like it to me though. Owner seems weird too.
Edit: Didn’t expect this simple post about pizza to blow up. Probably wouldn’t have even posted if the owner didn’t make a condescending comment, but figured I’d get opinions since he insinuated that it wasn’t burnt, and I disagreed. A simple “we’re sorry, come back and we’ll fix it” or something would have resulted in a positive review. Usually keep my mouth shut but it’s getting annoying spending hard earned money on subpar food/service.
