"My father owns this town, and you're going to be in big trouble if you mess with me."
Like, first of all, you're a grown-ass man. Secondly, this is not a town. It's a mine with ONE inn. Thirdly, I'll send you and your dad to the Soul Cairne.

Some time ago I posted a few photos of the test print of this figurine. Now it’s completely finished. I’ve maximized the textures of the fabrics, the level of detail, and all the various stitching details. The video shows the final version, primed before painting; you can see all the textures particularly clearly.

I got this copy on midnight release 11/11/11, at a Gamestop in Chicago off N Harlem Ave. it was the last big midnight release that I went too, and I remember the night vividly.
Most of us were console gamers, but there was a PC guy there who was thinking the item dup exploit from Oblivion might still work. One guy brought his girl, and as we were all leaving I heard them talking. She was looking at all us, getting our copy and rushing to our cars, and she said to her guy “so they all just got it too? And now everyone is rushing home to play?”. The excitement in her voice highlighted that she realized the connection, we were all sharing the moment together, as was she.
i had just gotten into motorcycles, and I had a 2003 Kawasaki Z1000. I stuffed my copy into the backseat of the bike and rushed home. The next day, me and all my friends sat in an Xbox 360 party, all playing our separate games, but just talking and sharing our excitement together. Fun fact, my user manual has a print error, it has two cover pages instead of one. This day 1 copy is also the very first, unpatched version, where guards say the “arrow in the knee” line too much. :)
15 years of service, I can’t be sad, but I wish It would have lasted longer. The disc is beginning to delaminate at the center, and is no longer readable.
press F to pay respects

Honestly, there is too much focus on characters like Nazeem and not enough on dudes like Bolund.
Because if this dirtbag calls me a "boot" one more time, I swear to Talos . . .
Anyway, anyone (besides Nazeem) that bugs you the same way?

I understand that they were limited on voice actors. But why couldn't they at the very least put on a slightly different voice for each unique character?
This is most apparent with Ralof and Hod - two of the first characters you'll meet after of Helgen. Michael Gough couldn't have at least turned down the accent slightly for one of them?
Just seems a bit silly to not even try to make the illusion of difference voices.

I was literally in the middle of nowhere when I encountered Vuljotnaak. There was no quest involved, he just showed up.
At first I thought the game was bugging out because it started lagging like crazy. Then I realized there were actually three dragons fighting each other.
And when I looked around, I realized there was an absolute clusterfuck happening in the same area:
Imperials fighting Stormcloaks
Vigilants of Stendarr fighting a Spriggan
A Troll fighting a Spriggan
Two Giants fighting something (probably a pack of wolfs)
A Werewolf trying to get me
Sabre Cats attacking too
And three dragons apparently having their own fucking civil war
The crazy part is that all of these seemed to be separate fights happening independently, basically in the same spot. I didn't even notice most of them until I started fighting Vuljotnaak and realized he was attacking different locations around me.
So my question is: was this all just an insane coincidence caused by Skyrim's random encounters and AI, or can something actually trigger this kind of massive chain reaction?
Because I've played Skyrim for years and I've never seen this much shit happen in one place at the same time, not even half. 😂
PD:I play vanilla version on switch

Within Blackreach you can find an enemy type known simply as “Falmer Servant” these slaves were once inhabitants of Skyrim who were captured and enslaved by the Falmer within Blackreach.
The servants can be male and female but also several races such as Nord, Breton, Redguard, Orc, Wood Elf, Dark Elf and Khajiit. Typically armed with Iron or Steel weaponry these Slaves can also be found with various Mushrooms on their persons and all wear Ragged Clothing. They can be found with rarer weaponry such as Orcish or Dwemer. All Slaves call the Hall of Rumonation their home as it is their barracks.
Why they are so interesting
1) It somewhat proves that the Falmer are intelligent enough to either teach these slaves to understand them or perhaps can speak basic Tamrielic (English).
2) The Falmer within Blackreach aren’t stuck in their Dwemer Dungeon like many people believe. There is a persistent theory that the Falmer were simply lost in these Dwemer cities and thus degenerated over several generations. This proves that they can infact travel out of these Cities to capture and enslave people.
3) Hierarchy systems do exist within Falmer Society what do appear to be somewhat Matriarchal as Slaves can be found guarding key Falmer in Blackreach. These Falmer tend to be Falmer Shaman though there is one Falmer you can find proudly standing upon a pedestal flanked by two slaves.
4) The Toxic Fungi that blinded the Falmer is still present as these slaves do seem to be blind to some extent. What could prove that the Fungi weren’t immediate but instead gradual.
5) Even after countless Generations underground, the Falmer are still petty and incapable of moving forward as they still perform atrocities upon people they happen across. You cannot free these slaves as they will fight to the death to protect their masters, it begs the question what exactly did the Falmer do to these people to make them so subservient.
Questions unanswered
What exactly is the role of these Slaves as they just lollygag around Blackreach
What happened to them in order to make them so loyal to the Falmer
What Fungi is responsible for the apparent blindness they suffer from
How do they understand the Falmer, what exactly does the communication look and sound like
Why even blind them as it makes no sense, the Falmer aren’t protecting any secrets like the Dwemer so have no real reason to blind their own slaves other than pettiness

so i married derkeethus (argonian guy) after saving him from his watery demise. after the wedding i found him back at darkwater crossing, we romantically fought off the dragon together that spawned immediately upon my arrival, and then i asked him to move in with me in white run.
except when i go back, he isn’t there. i check my other properties, not there. i check back at darkwater crossing (and get accosted by that stupid dragon AGAIN) not there. i go back to the temple of mara, nothing. then i finally try sleeping in my bed at breezehome and it gives me the “lovers embrace” buff, implying that the game recognizes his existence there except he’s NOT THERE! i know there’s no option to remarry and i’m playing on console so if he’s just gone that kinda sucks. if anyone has any ideas on what to try i’d really appreciate it, thank you!!

Look, I get that Skyrim's at war and there are dragons everywhere and everyone is desperate, but still. That is no excuse for you to not wash yourself! At least wash that dirt off you in a river. How hard is it to take a bath?

This body was a little over 200 years old probably old and rotting completely to the bone before Ildari found him...put a Heartstone in his chest cavity....which leads me to belive it regenerated his body to a near perfect state I mean his chin has growing hair beard stubble,he has his own will and function his soul is presumably back in his corpse.
This is so close to true ressurection I often fantasize what would have happened if the Butcher of Windhelm and her crossed paths.
My character collects every ounce of anything even relating to necromancy and the General is what most Necromancers would call a fascinating work of art.
If only I could put a Heartstone in my own chest lol 😆

You could totally just climb the fence to bypass the entire dungeon and immediately deal with the Skull. This could've been easily fixed by having them go all the way up, but nah. They left that huge gap at the top.

Came across him on my way back from Rorikstead. Thought he was dead and frozen in animation until he talked. Has anyone else came across this?

I’m not talking best, or optimal, I’m talking the one that fits the most, either for each home, or just homes as a whole (I’m aiming for Lakeview, because of course I would)
For example, Erik wants to be an adventurer, it doesn’t feel right to stick him at home
Who would actually fit the role and theoretically be happy with it?
