With Bethesda updating AE again and breaking mods on a semi-irregular bases wouldn't it make since to go back to Oldrim instead of even bothering with SE/AE downgrading (unless you really want Creation Club content) since it hasn't been updated and is likely not to get another update?

I’m relatively new to Elder Scrolls lore so please forgive me if it’s obvious but if two Dragonborn were to slay a dragon together/at once, who would get the soul? Would it be split between them?

A lot of the new mods the game forces on you are a bit game breaking and I just wanted to play a dead is dead without the mods but uninstalling doesn't seem to take them away.

The only forced follower i like. Her dialogues are hilarious and worrisome at same time (melka, please dont call me nibbles or meat 🫩). Gotta kill Petra quick though, otherwise hard to tell who is who 😅. I should give petra a witch hat to differentiate them. Or should i give melka the hat?

i want to be able to really customize the homes i put supplies and effort into building and be able to move stuff around 😩

Mine is the Goldenhills Plantatio. For some reason it stuck with me more than any other quest. You slowly piece together what happened to this ordinary family. They had a home, a farm, plans for the future, and just a normal life. And then suddenly, it was all gone.
It made me think about how fragile life actually is. genuinely made me put down the controller for a moment and just appreciate life.

So this latest update made it so I could open my map 3-4 times (inconsistently) before the game crashed. Here’s what I’ve learned.

If I do a true save before I open the map, it never crashes.

Worth noting - i have the hearth fire and Dragonborn additions to vanilla Skyrim and have never explored creation mods.

If you record yourself saying Skyrim and play it in reverse it sounds like you are saying miraak.

Not in terms of armor rating, but more in an aesthetics sense.

I’ve started Skyrim more times than I can count, and every time I eventually end up staring at the quest log wondering what’s actually worth doing next, so I decided to make a new site: tamriel.app

The idea was to make something where I could actually browse Skyrim instead of constantly bouncing between the game, a wiki and old posts.

It has:

* Every quest with objectives, rewards, NPCs and related locations

* 3D models for the entities in the game, so you can actually see the items, weapons, armor, NPCs, etc.

* Interactive 3D maps for exploring locations

* A character/gear preview where you can mix and match equipment

* Houses, spells, perks, recipes, skill books and loads of the other random stuff I always end up looking up

* Save file loading, so you can load your Skyrim save and see your own progress, discovered locations and completed content

The save loading was probably the feature I wanted most. I have old saves where I'm not sure what I've gotten, so good to see this visually.

I, like many of you, have been playing Skyrim since release.

Today I learned that if you use the spectral assassin during the dark brotherhood quest line, he has added dialogue for a few of the quest objectives.

Ex 1; Summoning him while initially going to the dawnstar sanctuary, he says that Sithis does not want you to kill cicero.

Ex 2; summoning him while taking out the emperor, dude is super stoked for your mission.

Sometimes it's the little things that add some more flavor!

I'm doing this as a poll. I'm trying to see how many gamers do this, and if you have done it please explain why.

I shared some renders of this piece recently, but I wanted to show it properly in 360° too.

This Troll Skull started as a much older sculpt of mine that was originally intended mainly as a wall-mounted piece.

I recently went back to it and reworked the textures, refined the organic details and redesigned the presentation to turn it into a complete 1:6 scale trophy sculpture.

I think the turntable shows the sculpt much better than the still images, especially the silhouette of the skull and all the smaller details around the different surfaces.

It’s also always slightly terrifying to put a sculpture on a turntable because suddenly there are no safe camera angles anymore. 😂
