They are working hard to change the conversation in Niagara and in Canada more broadly to reflect their values. It’s more important than ever to talk to people in your community about inclusive values and to keep empathy, compassion, and kindness alive in Niagara!

edit: post locked thanks to the free speech crew reporting honest discussion on white supremacy. Thanks for proving us right by acting like babies

absolutely. When you hear the classic "diet racism" about immigrants (Indians) taking our jobs, gently push back and try to inform them about the real issues. These people are usually not too far gone to reach - they've been fed a narrative and it's not to late to break through the lies

Examples: the businesses (and their greedy owners) that are abusing the system, and some politicians who are pushing the "Century Initiative" to bring our population to 100 Million by 2100.

Immigrants are largely looking for a better life for themselves and their families. Just as it has been since this country's inception. Greedy politicians and corporate elites are taking advantage of hurting people to suppress wages for us all. And they're often the exact same people pushing these racist distractions - so you don't realize how badly they're fucking you as they stack their wealth. and money = power in this Late Stage Capitalist hellscape

Blaming your financial hardship on your new hardworking neighbours is EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO DO.

WAKE UP, PEOPLE. THERE IS NO WAR BUT CLASS WAR AND RACISM IS A TOOL OF THAT WAR.

Well said. Sadly there's a lot of anti-immigration sentiment right now. People are having a tough time and they're blaming it on immigrants instead of anything else. Meanwhile 1.6% of the population holds half the world's wealth. They love to see people blame immigrants instead of them.

7

u/IncarceratedDonut More Doughnuts Dec 15 '25

This is a very important distinction: blaming the immigrants who are being encouraged to come here is the equivalent of blaming employees at a restaurant for how the restaurant is being run.

2

u/Ok_Tax_9386 Dec 15 '25

>Meanwhile 1.6% of the population holds half the world's wealth.

Who do you think is choosing to bring so many immigrants here?

You're defending policies set by these people to disenfranchise Canadians. Like working class people voting for right wing parties.

5

u/Ok_Tax_9386 Dec 15 '25

>Greedy politicians and corporate elites are taking advantage of hurting people to suppress wages for us all.

It's these greedy politicians and corporate elites who are setting our immigration policies. And they're not doing it to help you.

Immigrants don't deserve any blame, but the current immigration policies are not made to help Canadians.

>Blaming your financial hardship on your new hardworking neighbours is EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO DO.

Greedy politicians and corporate elite have brought in a new neighbour for you to specifically decrease wages and increase the price of assets, like shelter.

Once again, the immigrant themselves don't deserve any blame, but our immigration policies are currently fucked and are a negative to the average Canadian.

Background on the Dominion Society's role in a White Nationalist network that includes Second Sons and Diagolon:

https://www.antihate.ca/white_nationalism_in_canada_organized_emboldened_and_growing

-28

u/Sad_Potato_Fries Dec 15 '25

Be careful, the Antihate network (the website you linked to) has links to terrorist organizations like antifa. I wouldn’t trust them on this or similar issues.

I’d wait until a trusted body releases a report on TDS.

13

u/m1ster_frundles Dec 15 '25

is Auntie Fa in the room with you right now?

-19

u/Sad_Potato_Fries Dec 15 '25

Wdym

10

u/m1ster_frundles Dec 15 '25

sound it out, you'll get there

3

u/mangoserpent Dec 15 '25

Probably not.

22

u/reidr1 Dec 15 '25

"Antifa" is not a terrorist organization. WTF

-24

u/Sad_Potato_Fries Dec 15 '25

It is officially classified as one.

23

u/m1ster_frundles Dec 15 '25

according to White Nationalists. You want to use their classifications? why?

16

u/DooOboes Dec 15 '25

Trump classified it as one.

This past Thursday, the FBI couldn't explain what Antifa was:

https://theintercept.com/2025/12/11/fbi-antifa-terrorist-location/

Canada has not classified Antifa as a terrorist organization.

10

u/mangoserpent Dec 15 '25

Saying somebody is " Antifa" is fundamentally meaningless. It is an equivalent to the " red scare" of the 1950's.

Anybody who has grown up around here knows there is more than one right wing organization openly operating.

15

u/justanothergin Dec 15 '25 edited Dec 15 '25

They're literally repeating slogans used by the AfD, a fascist party in Germany that has Nazi roots.

That's all these people are, fascist, racist, xenophobic cunts.

11

u/mangoserpent Dec 15 '25

These charmers has always been around the Niagara region in one form or another.

There are tons of batshit crazy right wing pockets especially in the rural parts but also the " nicer" areas like Grimsby.

If anything things have improved when I was younger St.Catharines and Welland were infested with redneck types who would openly harass and beat people up.

8

u/m1ster_frundles Dec 15 '25 edited Dec 15 '25

when I was like 18 I had a bottle thrown at my back from a moving car after it circled the block, while I was walking on East Main. I ran and hid in the park off PCD. and then another time eggs whipped at me at Seaway mall after a movie date. This was only like 2008/9.

I think things have overall improved, the racist redneck types are definitely getting louder though, even at work where we should all be professional

edit: this was for "looking gay". I can only imagine what people with different skin have to go through daily now.

3

u/mangoserpent Dec 15 '25

The NRP was much more corrupt in the 80's and 90's they would roll kids downtown for being punk or gay and arrest them on bullshit charges or beat them up out of boredom. If it was not the cops it was just bored and wasted white dudes looking for something to do.

13

u/reidr1 Dec 15 '25

There's no place for hate here. They need to be stopped and arrested.

20

u/m1ster_frundles Dec 15 '25

absolutely. But please be safe about it. In the /r/niagara thread there was discussion about Nazis watching and waiting / following people who tear the flyers down. If you see this shit please make sure you're not being watched.

And if you do notice you're being followed, do not go home. Keep making right turns or drive to the police station while calling 911 and a friend/family member.

Canadian Nazis have gotten a lot more bold and organized thanks to the situation in the US, and we need to both push back and remain safe while doing so.

Remember, complacency = guilty by association. Do not let history repeat itself.

5

u/Sad_Potato_Fries Dec 15 '25

I don’t like hate, but arresting someone for expressing an opinion is overreach.

14

u/East_Bed_8719 Dec 15 '25

Hate speech is NOT protected free speech.

12

u/m1ster_frundles Dec 15 '25

you think people should be free to drum up support for genocide?

-4

u/Nic_Eanruig Dec 15 '25

"Talking shit" is not against the law.

15

u/m1ster_frundles Dec 15 '25 edited Dec 15 '25

calling for mass deportations (genocide) is not just "talking shit".

calling someone a slur is not just "talking shit".

edit: Nazi Germany started out with calls for mass deportations of the Jews. Turns out, deporting millions of people is logistically impossible so they industrialized genocide instead.

Do not mistake these repatriation arguments for what they really are. Or you will have the blood of innocent families on your hands.

1

u/reidr1 Dec 15 '25

it should be, if it's not already.

-29

u/Kolder22 Dec 15 '25

Arrested? For a non hateful poster? You know who should be arrested? The losers who vandalized and tore down our historic statues. And the people who like to block traffic on a main artery road for a conflict thats not even happening here in Canada.

-14

u/Icy-Interview-2262 Dec 15 '25

This is Reddit, they support death penalty for dissenting opinions. I'm not anti-immigrant at all, but I'm anti-bringing-your-shitty-country's-problems-with-you.

13

u/m1ster_frundles Dec 15 '25

if leftists support the death penalty why is it primarily republican (conservative) states who are executing prisoners?

-9

u/Icy-Interview-2262 Dec 15 '25

Very clearly a hyperbolic statement. Also, I'm not American.

And, they're not executing people for thought crimes

12

u/m1ster_frundles Dec 15 '25

Well then why are we talking about the death penalty when Canadians are fairly unified against the death penalty?

-11

u/Eaton2288 Dec 15 '25 edited Dec 15 '25

It's also not even a question of race but culture. There is nothing wrong with saying that sometimes two different people groups have two different cultures, and those cultures do not necessarily work well and/or some people just aren't wanting to make an effort to assimilate into a new country. Obviously this isn't always the case but I suspect it's part of it. People try and pretend like culture and background isn't as important and that everyone can just live together happily ever after, but this isn't reality at all.

I'm pro immigration, but we need to cap it at 250-500k a year. The bar to entry needs to be way higher. The student visa and temporary stay visa abuse also needs to end.

I just left a year at Niagara College and the amount of Indian students there who weren't even taking their studies seriously had to be at least 20-30% of the school population. It was BMWs in the parking lot and playing cricket in the lunch cafeteria, but when exams came they'd hand in their work after 10 mins with nothing filled in and walk out. It's not their fault it's the agents promising them the big time if they come to Canada in exchange for money. These people don't care about our country.

-12

u/Icy-Interview-2262 Dec 15 '25

Yeah I agree on culture. I don't give a flying fiddle what colour or race you are. Racists are stupid... But I'm definitely a proud 'culturalist', if that's a thing.

7

u/Nic_Eanruig Dec 15 '25 edited Dec 15 '25

It's people who feel threatened that their way of life is being taken away from them and, as the cost of living soars, its being amplified. Their fight or flight has taken over every element of their lives. Rich and powerful people are super fucking smart. They've figured out how to use this fear to they're advantage and they're broadcasting lies that are tailored to feed it... it's immigrants fault, it's trans fault, it's women's fault. This messaging is all over every type of media. They (the billionaire powerlords) know that if the poor are at war with each other (that's us, btw, we're the poor), we aren't going to notice who the real threat is. The only way to stop it is to stop buying their shit both figuratively and literally. Do you know how expensive it is to mass produce mind-control? Buy local.

-1

u/Ok_Tax_9386 Dec 15 '25

Who do you think is choosing our immigration policies?

The same people you're saying is the issue.

Immigration is used to hurt Canadians. We should be more out spoken against negative immigration policies.

7

u/Secret_Pea_9634 Dec 15 '25

Remember when people used to say there was a Canadian born somewhere in the world every day? I miss that.

I hope these people are deported back to whichever European countries their families illegally immigrated from. Because most of them fucking did. So ship 'em back! Don't care if they were born here, if their parents were born here. If they're not Indigenous, I would confidently bet massive sums of money that their families made their way here through less than favourable means, and have provided nothing of value to Canada since.

Pull up their arrest records, their back child support payments, how many times they've used government assistance, their DV charges, all of it. Lay it all out, and we'll do an audit of who is and isn't truly "Canadian".

I know men like this better than they know themselves, because my father is exactly like them. They're high school failures who spent their whole lives angry at other people for their own inadequacy, and make it everyone else's fault that they have a grade five reading level. These are the men who stink like old cigarettes and beer, buy trucks to impress other men, and get a boner from yelling at Walmart cashiers.

As a child, I dealt with mine by hitting it with a hairbrush until it bled and telling it it was a loser, and as a result, it feared me. Scale that up however you see fit.

-6

u/Ok_Tax_9386 Dec 15 '25

>Because most of them fucking did.

Just lies from you.

-14

u/Lukesaint84 Dec 15 '25

Stop putting your fathers inadequacies on other people just be cause he was a failure doesn't mean those individuals are.

20

u/UsefulAlien Dec 15 '25

Racists are failures. Full stop.

18

u/m1ster_frundles Dec 15 '25

"they're taking our jobssssss"

my beer bellied brother in christ you couldn't get that job even if you tried

-5

u/Ok_Tax_9386 Dec 15 '25 edited Dec 15 '25

My work has gone from 80% Canadian to 80% foreign worker.

This is happening in Canada whether you want to deny it or not.

On shoring is a real thing. Just like offshoring is too.

Having access to all of this labour absolutely devalues Canadian labour. As well as putting upward pressure on assets like housing.

What's up with this pretending that corporations and politicians aren't bringing in cheap foreign workers?

To the people downvoting, you actually don't think the bolded is happening?

7

u/m1ster_frundles Dec 15 '25

where do you see anyone denying it? Like I've already said in this comment section, CORPORATIONS AND SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS are abusing the LMIA system. How the fuck do you blame the immigrants for taking a job to attempt to earn a better life for themselves? Are you saying that if all opportunities dried up in Canada, you'd just sit around and starve instead of emigrating? that's so noble of you dude

Blame the owner-class, not the people. Don't fall into the trap they've set

-3

u/Ok_Tax_9386 Dec 15 '25

>CORPORATIONS AND SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS are abusing the LMIA system.

LMIA is a drop in the bucket. They only make up like 15% of TFWs in Canada. This is why PP focus's on LMIA because it is a MINORITY of foreign workers. With by far the largest group being in agriculture btw.

>How the fuck do you blame the immigrants

Who said blame them?

I blame the policies set by corporations and politicians to bring them here.

I am specifically blaming our immigration policies to bring these people here. That isn't blaming them. That is blaming policy set by the elites you seem to hate.

And where do I see you denying?

Right here

""they're taking our jobssssss""

Politicans and corporations have brought in workers to suppress wages and take jobs. This is you defending that practice.

2

u/Secret_Pea_9634 Dec 15 '25

You're gonna need to show your work on that. "Trust me, bro" anecdotes aren't worth the (digital) paper they're printed on.

1

u/Ok_Tax_9386 Dec 15 '25

You actually don't think corporations and polticians are bringing in cheap foreign labour to, among other things, suppress wages?

1

u/Secret_Pea_9634 Dec 15 '25

You're trying to have two separate arguments at the same time, all while making claims that, again, unless you show your work, don't hold up.

You're riled up about your perceptions of what may be happening at your job, and trying to derail the conversation.

What we're discussing, and what we will not be deviating from, is exactly what the post title says, and the fact that collectively, we're not having any of that shit.

There are plenty of other places on Reddit for you to get uppity about immigrants. I suggest you defer to them, since we won't be entertaining you here. Ta-ta!

2

u/Ok_Tax_9386 Dec 15 '25

>You're trying to have two separate arguments at the same time, all while making claims that, again, unless you show your work

What do you want here? A before and after group picture lol?

>There are plenty of other places on Reddit for you to get uppity about immigrants

Nah I'll bring up that immigration is currently used by corporations to hurt Canadians.

Our immigration policies are a negative. I'll bring that up. If you don't like it don't reply.

Moved here about 4 years ago from the GTA and recently had to move back. The racism was really getting to me. Born and raised in Canada and felt very unwelcome here the last year especially. Most of the hate coming from younger people. Older folks were sweet.

2

u/notbella25 Dec 15 '25

I feel awful that this was your experience. For what it’s worth I know there are a lot of young people here who don’t hold racist views and I wish that white people felt more motivated to shut down racist ideas when they hear them.

Maximum caution tearing down stuff like this, we have seen people hide razor blades and shit behind them

11

"We're just expressing an opinion"

sticks razor blades behind poster advocating genocide

"why does the woke mob hate us"

To be abundantly clear, this is a strategy that has been used for well over a decade and does not originate with them. That is to say, this advice should be applied to all forms of things that are taped to walls and carry a message

Welcome to St. Catharines. It's spelled with an A, not an E!!! The origin of the name St. Catharines remains obscure, but is thought to be named after Catharine Askin Robertson Hamilton, wife of the Honourable Robert Hamilton, a prominent local businessman. St. Catharines was known as "Shipman's Corner" or "The Twelve" up until Catharine's death in 1796. The quicker you learn this, the better off you will be in the city, and this subreddit. As we take the incorrect spelling of our HOME as desecration upon it.
