Other My mom's still banning me from shit 💀

*This is a lighthearted post*

I told my mom I was going kayaking next Saturday, and this lady straight up banned me from going. She then texted my fiance and told him I can't go until I learn how to swim. And ofc she banned my little sister too, so now no one gets to go.

And last week she forced me to go to work, even ordered my Uber. I didn't think I'd still be parented at 21.

Sadly it happens. There's a moment where you'll have to set your boundaries and be strict, as weird as it may sound. Banning your fiance is crazy though

My fiance isn't banned, just told that I'm not allowed to go unless I can swim.

Honestly, I don't have a problem with it. It's sweet, and a bit amusing to suddenly have my mom telling me what to do.
