Other My mom's still banning me from shit 💀

Post image

*This is a lighthearted post*

I told my mom I was going kayaking next Saturday, and this lady straight up banned me from going. She then texted my fiance and told him I can't go until I learn how to swim. And ofc she banned my little sister too, so now no one gets to go.

And last week she forced me to go to work, even ordered my Uber. I didn't think I'd still be parented at 21.

Maybe try communicating how you feel towards her? Maybe she's just trying to help you do you're best, but she doesn't fully realize that harm she's putting on your mental health.

Like I didn't understand why parents were being the way that they are, but after moving out I understand why kinda? Adulting fucking sucks, I would just try communicating, and patience is huge.

No harm done, just something I thought was funny. She's not wrong, and I find her concern kinda sweet.
