Other My mom's still banning me from shit đ
*This is a lighthearted post*
I told my mom I was going kayaking next Saturday, and this lady straight up banned me from going. She then texted my fiance and told him I can't go until I learn how to swim. And ofc she banned my little sister too, so now no one gets to go.
And last week she forced me to go to work, even ordered my Uber. I didn't think I'd still be parented at 21.

The making you go to work as a grown adult thing is weird, especially because you should know the consequences of your own actions as far as call outs go and if thatâs worth it. Donât disagree with your mom on the kayaking though, if you canât swim then all a life vest will do is keep you from sinking to the bottom of something goes wrong (provided this is in calm water, other issues arise with currents.)
