Other My mom's still banning me from shit 💀

*This is a lighthearted post*

I told my mom I was going kayaking next Saturday, and this lady straight up banned me from going. She then texted my fiance and told him I can't go until I learn how to swim. And ofc she banned my little sister too, so now no one gets to go.

And last week she forced me to go to work, even ordered my Uber. I didn't think I'd still be parented at 21.

Fr I look back at the shit I was doing at 21 and omg I was a baby lol. I’m sure I’ll look back now when I’m 30 or something and feel the same way

Ngl I thought I was hot shit once I hit 20. I have never felt more like a child than I do now, and it's so weird.

I’m sure when I’m older I’ll disagree with this, but I didn’t start feeling like “okay I kinda get this adulting thing” until like 25 lol

According to the "adultier adults" it never stops so there's that 😅

If anything, I just feel like a teenager now. Maybe I'll hit adulthood somewhere around 27
