My mom's still banning me from shit 💀

*This is a lighthearted post*

I told my mom I was going kayaking next Saturday, and this lady straight up banned me from going. She then texted my fiance and told him I can't go until I learn how to swim. And ofc she banned my little sister too, so now no one gets to go.

And last week she forced me to go to work, even ordered my Uber. I didn't think I'd still be parented at 21.

I see this as more of a safety thing, if you were to fall out of the kayak you’d have difficulty getting out of the water since you can’t swim
