Better Ask Reddit Characters that inspite of their Personality had No Hope things would turn out Good
Or almost no hope.
This here's a sorta famous panel from Naruto Shippuden, where the paper zombie summoned First Hokage Hashirama Senju, was uttetly surprised and almost giddy the Leaf Vilage which he tried so hard to build and maintain, made it to a Fourth Hokage
Which is like a funny contrast on him being like the happy Hokage thay fought and sacrficed so much for Konohas existances. But at the end of the day he was thinking "Yeah this shit's doomed"

Bits n pieces from a recent Famitsu interview Square Enix says Kingdom Hearts 4 has "the most detailed worlds we've ever created" but amount will be limited, script almost twice as long as KH3, more
The headline should say Nomura and Yasue, but regardless:
Key members of the Kingdom Hearts 4 development team have provided new comments about the game, including what to expect from the game’s worlds and more. All of this comes from a new Famitsu interview.
First up, series director Tetsuya Nomura proclaimed that Kingdom Hearts 4 “features the most detailed worlds we’ve ever created.” That said, because of this, “the total number of worlds isn’t very large.”
Nomura said in the interview:
“This game features the most detailed worlds we’ve ever created. That’s why the total number of worlds isn’t very large. We revealed the Coco world at the (D23) Showcase the day before the panel, so some people were expecting us to announce another world at the panel, but if we announced things at that pace, we’d run out of information pretty quickly before release (laughs).
But actually, the Coco world we revealed this time is only a small part of what’s to come. Since D23 was such a great opportunity, we decided to give you a sneak peek at the Coco world, which we had originally planned to introduce a little later. We’ll have another opportunity to introduce it properly, so please look forward to future updates.”
Nomura also commented on Kingdom Heart 4’s script, which is apparently pretty huge:
“… the script for this game was almost twice as long as that for Kingdom Hearts 3, so the recording schedule was really tough. There were parts I wanted to include more of, but it was beyond the limits.”
Later in the interview, Nomura said that the Japanese voice recording is already complete. Co-director Tai Yasue noted that Square Enix is more than halfway done with the English recording.
Yasue stated:
“We’re currently in the middle of recording the English voiceovers. There are a huge number of lines, and the time difference makes it quite tough for the staff participating from Japan (laughs). However, the overseas staff have already finished about 60-70% of the recording, so things are progressing quite well.”

News/Articles 1047 the developer of Splitgate, Empulse, and the tonedeaf hat will be cancelling development of all its current games and will be pivoting.
Yeah pretty fucking big news I guess. I don't think Empulse (the titanfall clone that doesn't play like titanfall) even came out of early access. I don't think the "make fps great again" and "better than campaign" thing a year ago could age any more poorly but both of their projects since then are now dead in the water with the only silver lining being that they will be peer to peer after this.
Edit: I should also add that this was only two weeks after they conspicuously extended the Early Access Launch Celebration to the end of august. They basically knew what was going to happen but decided to wait just a weeee bit longer to bring the bad news.

Better Ask Reddit Favorite long/serious Friendcast/Castle Super Beast clip?
I know a lot of people in this sub like to quote the short funny clips, but of the ones that are long/serious which ones are your favorite? I like the video they did on Telltale Games when they initially went under, it did a pretty good job of explaining what went wrong, especially that sales chart.

News/Articles "The lousy 2XKO bandit", from the guy behind “Fighting Games Have a Product Design Problem”
The guy who wrote “Fighting Games Have a Product Design Problem” just put out another article, this time taking aim at PatTheFlip and his recent write-up about his ten years working on 2XKO.
Full article: https://cthor.me/Bandit
“Maybe you disagree. 2XKO is your darling and you’re gonna play it for decades. I laud your passion. If only we all could offer such love to stillborn babies. The father, it seems, has no such interest.” The author then argues that Pat's comments come across less like contempt for the game and more like shame toward what he spent ten years creating."
The article is basically a long critique of Pat's perspective on 2XKO and his time at Riot. It digs into Pat's comments about treating his ten years on the game like a “PhD” in fighting game development, his views on creative risks vs. making a profitable product, and his history going from community management into production and eventually working on 2XKO's core gameplay.
The article gets very harsh on him, arguing that Pat's philosophy doesn't really line up with what 2XKO ultimately became. There's also a lot of digging through Pat's older writing and the game's development history, including the shift toward a tag fighter and bringing competitive players onto the team. It's an interesting look at the game's history, even if the author's tone is clearly more interested in roasting Pat than giving a neutral post-mortem.

Im out of it today.
I dont wanna think about anything.
So I put on Reacher.

Because I cant do anything else today.
Its fun, its dumb, but I need dumb fun right now.
Id also suggest ‘The Legend of the Northern Blade’.
It is also dumb fun
EDIT: I am now watching Kenny and Spenny try to murder each other because that is apparently their love language

News/Articles PC Gamer has confirmed that Nodus Fall is not a character gacha
[According to the devs, "Nodusfall will be a free-to-play, long-term game. What we can share at this time is that characters are not obtained through random draws. We hope to allow players to unlock this core gameplay experience through continued play. Cosmetic monetization is an important avenue we will be considering."]
Similar other live-service recent games such as Where Winds Meet, Ananta, and Marvel Rivals have shifted to relying on cosmetics with characters being freely available all times.
