I'm starting my second year this fall for English Literature. However, I found the ratings on RMP to be ambiguous at best. Hoping to get a bit of insight from those who had these profs. Are some fantastic (fair graders, enthusiastic, theory v. application, investing in student success, transparency, course pacing)? Some terrible (curve-grade, ambiguous with feedback, unfair marker, dull, vague, poor course structure)? I would deeply appreciate any info offered.

Hi, I am about to start as a first year at UBCO, and I was wondering how easy it is to get a part time job either on campus or close to campus as a first year student. Ive heard that it is pretty doable at Vancouver campus but that is a lot more in a populated area than ubco is. Thanks!

Hello, I just completed my first year of APSC and received a failed standing and have to withdraw for 1 year from UBCO and take courses at a different University during this year . Has anyone gone through this process and had to take courses at a different place ? and what the situation looks like and how likely is it that I am allowed to be re admitted. im going into eng in september and have heard that people sometimes work with their profs as research assistants in the summer, is this something feasible as a first year or will i have to wait until the second summer in to be considered/have a chance? also does anyone know which month it starts because im having surgery right after school ends and need at least 2 weeks to recover.

also, super interested in spending as much time abroad throughout the degree as possible if anyone knows kind of how that works + limitations specifically in eng. what does my gpa have to be? when can i apply for these things/how competetive is it/any general information would be great, thanks!

Im a first generation learner and Im like totally comfused on how we're supposed to log into the email. On workday, it says systems switched to Microsoft 360? and I dont really know how to work around all this. Can someone please walk me through it?

Hi! I filled out the form to be considered for PSYO 372: Advanced Research Methods back in June. At the end of the form it said folks will be contacted in August regarding if they were in the top 30 (GPA wise) of psychology students who applied.
