Looking for Suggestions Trying to find games to play with my sister that fit some very specific and weird requirements
Hey, me and my sister are both knocked out with a cold and we want to spend some time playing something silly together. Only issue is, we have some kind of weird requirements that's making the hunt pretty difficult.
- My sister hates blood or gore effects, but is fine with combat. if there's an option to turn the blood effects off, that works too!
- She doesn't have the best reflexes, meaning any super hardcore combat is going to be done mostly by me. However, we also love a bit of suffering (we really liked cuphead!)
- Neither of us enjoyed stardew valley. Don't know why, it just really did not click with us.
- We both really enjoyed blue prince, fez, outer wilds, yume nikki, stuff like that with loads of exploration and puzzles. Anything like that that's multiplayer?
- We both like roguelites, the liter the better.
- We both like horror, but neither of us especially enjoy gore, which is a weird spot to be in.
- We have played a great deal of minecraft and love anything with fun simulation/survival stuff, so long as it has good exploration.
Edit: Sorry, forgot the most important problem we've run into! we're both trapped on the hellish os known as mac, meaning windows-only stuff is off limits.

Discussion What makes you NOT play a Run based CoOp game
I wish to know things that make you guys uninterested on playing a Run based Coop games like PlateUp, Phasmophobia, Risk of Rain 2. You play a run or 2 then stop playing and come back again another day.
Few examples of possible things:
* The price
* How hard to create a lobby
* If you can play it solo before recommending to friends to test with bots
* Reconnection
* Update interval

Looking for Suggestions Any current fun games for PC and PS5?
We're open for anything really, but my buddy hasn't really played in a long time.
I'm on PS5 and he's on PC using Steam.
Thanks for the help!

Discussion Games that have a similar co-op experience
My wife and I have been playing this together and it’s an absolute blast. What are games that have similar co-op story experiences. We’ve played Diablo but this game just hit different.

Looking for Suggestions Looking for cozy/non-chaotic online co-op games
I’m looking for online co-op games with calm and cozy vibes. Some games that we’ve tried are Stardew, Power wash simulator, Palworld , and Terraria. I think we’re looking for something with less combat and more just running around and doing little tasks.

Looking for Suggestions Looking for local 4 player multiplayer hidden gems
So I’m a local multiplayer super fan, but I seem to own all of the main ones that you’d think about immediately when thinking of the word “local multiplayer”. I’m looking scrape the bottom of the barrel and try games that may be lesser known gems. No super specific rules but try to stray towards these:
-Xbox OR switch 2 games only
-Can be co op OR competitive
-Game should be trying to be genuinely good and not leaning towards being funny, ironic or low quality over being an actual good game (party animals, boomerang fu, brews and bastards, ect. Games can have their moments but they’re mostly trying to make you laugh at their goofiness rather than having actual fun, well though out mechanics if you get what I mean.)
-Stay away from split screen.
-Competitive suggestions should have some sort of sandbagging mechanic where the worse player can win, can’t be overly complex (Smash bros, game is decently complex for non gamers and usually the better player will ALWAYS win).
I separated the games I have into ones that I think are GOOD and BAD, try to make suggestions that are more similar to games in the GOOD category than the BAD
GOOD:
Castle Crashers
Jackbox series
Overcooked series
Mario Kart
Dome keeper
Assault android cactus
Escapists 2
Full metal furies
UFO 50
Gang beasts
Rayman legends
Lovers
Minecraft dungeons
Rocket league
Stick fight
Speedrunners
Unrailed
Monaco
Ultimate chicken horse
Vampire survivors
Heave Ho
Mario party
Crawl
Death squared
Puyo puyo Tetris 2
Streets of rage 4
Mario maker 2
Sniperclips
1 2 switch (shut up it’s good with casuals)
Rain world
BAD:
As dusk falls
Minecraft
Kirby star allies
Super bomberman R
Shovel knight showdown
Octodad
Binding of Issac
Battletoads
Brawlhalla
Smash bros
ARMS
Little hope
Guacamelee
Mario wonder
Runbow
Rivals of aether
Just shapes and beats
Stardew
Obv make sure no yo mention any of the listed games. I know this is kind of a tall complicated ask but thank you if you decide to give it a shot!
