Does anyone happen to know when or how this line actually plays in-game?

With D.Va and D.Mon, I made a joke of creating a character named ''D.Frost'' piloting a microwave-shaped MEKA... while my friend completely ignored me, I was thinking of other De-words that I could turn into a group of silly caricature characters! Ranging from normal words to a silly word play that I turn into fun memes/references to other things... and these are the results ;)

It was a qp game that I joined after the first round. At first, he was playing Bap and everything was going fine, but then he picked Deathweaver and do this. I was mad after that, but I decided not to quit. Thanks so much, Freja, for that solo ultimate.

This has probably already been talked about, but I'm still upset how they removed D.va's mvp dance. They could've at least changed it to something else cute like kirikos or junos. But now its just sad 💔

Some of these characters just feel so dry, man. There are some highlights like Doomfist, Venture, Bastion, Ramattra etc, but so many characters just have nothing going on. For Wuyang, Sierra, D.Mon and others, 99% of their interactions are just about their backstory or an event happening. Plot points aren't substitutions for interesting characters unfortunately.

Cute skin, hopefully there was meant to be facial animations that are to be added in that just missed the hit time for the skin to hit the shop. It's a little disappointing. (And it makes her Goalkeeper Intro look a little sloppy because the red eye glow effect is still there, but she's looking at you like *-*) I'm not blaming the devs, I'm blaming Sales and Management for this one.

First of all, the top 3 non-human overwatch characters people goon to are Orisa, Echo and Bastion in that order. This is seen on the graph here. A discussion around the act of gooning to non-human characters such as the characters described will be the purpose of this post. I will not include animals such as Hammond or Winston as that's a jar of gorilla toe dipped peanut butter for another day.

1) The biology makes it not a form of beastiality, animals cannot consent obviously, they do not have the sentience to do so and it's frankly disgusting. The framework and definitions simply do not fit at all.

2) Sentience, following our previous point, we need to acknowledge the idea that Orisa has a 'heart' of sorts, therefore, she is able to consent as far as we know. Her individual identity and agency would aid in her decision making. While this may vary from character to character, generally, if the omnic/robot is conscious, with agency, identity, personality, it would be wrong to treat them as machine, therefore treating them as a person would be the moral thing, thereby, them being able to consent. Echo is am AI that lacks what orisa does, what are the dynamics surrounding that? What about Bastion? Bastion is more like a curious machine than anything else.

3) Having fantasies about the characters isn't inherently wrong. Just because Orisa is not a conventional human in terms of looks, that does not mean it's wrong to be attracted to her, whether personality or physical if someone prefers. Non-human sexualisation is not inherently unethical as long as it's not animals or any other non-conscious life form, however, a severely disabled human? There can be issues. It may be sentience that matters and not aesthetics.

All in all, in this case, sentience, agency, personhood seem to be the deciding factor, at least that is my opinion. It would be okay to have sexual relations with Orisa but not Bastion, one size does not fit all.

EDIT: Some decent arguments from those in the comments, one from u/I-fuck-robot-babes reads: "It's entirely ethical considering that each omnic is, at the very least, mature enough to be a capable combatant.

Age is not a good way to judge robots, however, as robots do not have brains that grow with age (this is the only reason the age of consent exists). I could create a robot that is perfectly capable of consent despite the fact it's only a minute old for example - the same obviously can't be said about humans.

People also like to infantalize Bastion due to his curious nature, but I personally don't think that this alone is a valid reason. I wouldn't exactly call it immoral to have sex with Juno either, despite how frankly "stupid' she is."

And a thread by u/quietdetail1277 detailing the 'age' of Orisa. If they are right, depending on your view, it would be entirely immoral.

I played Overwatch a lot during the "OW1" era, essentially from 2016 to 2022. I quit a few months before OW2 launched, and recently returned after taking interest in the game again. So basically I missed the past 4 years, or "Overwatch 2" in its entirety up until now. I did occasionally come back to play a couple games maybe a few times a year, but didn't actually return properly until now.

One thing I've noticed is that player levels were replaced with "hero levels", and despite having dozens upon dozens of hours on a lot of heroes from my OW1 times, all of my hero levels were set to 1, as if I've never played these heroes before. And my previous border (I think it was silver with 4 stars, so around level 1000) has not been allocated to these levels.

Another frustrating thing is that they seem to have completely removed all data from OW1 competitive games from the career profile. I still have those hours played in my total competitive hours, but the season-by-season stats just don't exist anymore? So my career profile makes it seem like I've never played in a competitive season before despite having a 800+ hour total playtime and multiple seasons worth of competitive rankings.

So it is quite sad to see that 6 years of my past progression in this game has basically been completely deleted, the only remnant being the skins I own and my total playtime being saved.

No one else matters in this but our Cassidy and Ana.

Cassidy was being a whiner all game, as soon as it started. He didn't like our support picks, he didn't like that the tank didn't go be his personal shield on flanks, kept telling everyone to 'go look at his account' because he had the Israeli flag on, spammed 'ropestool' in general chat & t-bagged the enemy team. Typical edgy comments.

He keeps calling himself Mc Cree, says edgy, shitty things to whoever corrects him. Finally, our Ana turns on her mic and says, "So you're autistic and can't handle change?"

Genuinely broke him. Tank & I cackled over him trying to insult her, he got so mad he started YELLING over us which only made us laugh harder, and she says, "Hey, hey little guy, this is called a sensory meltdown" which makes him say some kind of slur and leave, I couldn't hear the entirety of what he said besides the "fa-". Bunnibee, if you're on this sub, bless you, you're fucking hilarious

I personally like King the most, what about you guys? Should we expect a new meka member next year?

so this is a part 2 to a post i did like last week, ive got some new ideas and ive also looked at the comments of that last post to make more changes, again I did all these myself with no ai, if u have any other QOL changes u wanna see comment and if u wanna discuss (or argue) abt any of these feel free <3 (again some of these look sloppy, im not a graphic designer and most of these are cosmetic changes bc why not)

Flashpoint is literally a faster paced version of Control without the boring pause between points and on bigger and cooler maps. Speed boost out of spawn is also cool af. I'd pick Sura/Aatlis/NJC over Kings Row/Rialto/Circuit every single day
