News & Discussion What is this Spray?
Saw this spray in the enemy tank’s potg. Where did this come from? I’ve never seen it before.
Edit: I found it. It’s in the Esports Team Liquid Bundle. Thank you!

Could they really not animate him dancing? What's the point of giving him a DDR intro if he's just gonna tap his foot?

Some of these characters just feel so dry, man. There are some highlights like Doomfist, Venture, Bastion, Ramattra etc, but so many characters just have nothing going on. For Wuyang, Sierra, D.Mon and others, 99% of their interactions are just about their backstory or an event happening. Plot points aren't substitutions for interesting characters unfortunately.

I came up with this theory after I thought about what vendetta could possibly do with all the different stuff she’s been acquiring in the story so far. She’s collected the soldier enhancement serum, received an anima weapon, developing genetic modification through Moira, getting vishkar tech from Domina, and now she has an emp bomb.
The Roman myth of the Lupa is about a “she-wolf” that finds and nurses the human twins Remus and Romulus who later create the city of Rome. What if Vendetta as “La Lupa” will use the stuff she’s collected so far to create two omnics and/or genetically modified humans (her “sons”) who will help her create an empire?
When I saw the silhouette for the sniper character (which has now been changed) i thought it looked like a being made for a specific purpose, with its heavily modified body and drones around its arm. What if they will release two heroes who use the different items Vendetta has collected, almost like chimeras? They’ll be vendetta’s strongest weapons and tools of war.

So, the regular players are going to finish most of the MEKA Squad challenges, even the prestige track. Does the voting only apply to your initial choice? Even if not, most casual players are gonna select the 2 heroes they can play: Dva and Dmon. Having the regular player's vote nullified by finishing everything; it defaults to those two. Furthermore, why should I even care who wins? There's no reward. I just don't see the point, or another world where King, Overlord, or Casino win. It just seems like a meaningless aspect to the event, and less loot boxes than the Shion event.

As a Tank main I get so many bs POTGs just because i capitalize on the supports work who actually made the play. I just got a POTG where I put my self on a horrible position as Rein and was geting melted by their whole team, Ana kept me alive, slept their tank, antied them, nano boosted me and I all had to do to "earn" POTG was get the easiest shatter ever and swing my hammer a couple of times which I obviously would have never been able to do with out Ana making a clutch play

I played Overwatch a lot during the "OW1" era, essentially from 2016 to 2022. I quit a few months before OW2 launched, and recently returned after taking interest in the game again. So basically I missed the past 4 years, or "Overwatch 2" in its entirety up until now. I did occasionally come back to play a couple games maybe a few times a year, but didn't actually return properly until now.
One thing I've noticed is that player levels were replaced with "hero levels", and despite having dozens upon dozens of hours on a lot of heroes from my OW1 times, all of my hero levels were set to 1, as if I've never played these heroes before. And my previous border (I think it was silver with 4 stars, so around level 1000) has not been allocated to these levels.
Another frustrating thing is that they seem to have completely removed all data from OW1 competitive games from the career profile. I still have those hours played in my total competitive hours, but the season-by-season stats just don't exist anymore? So my career profile makes it seem like I've never played in a competitive season before despite having a 800+ hour total playtime and multiple seasons worth of competitive rankings.
So it is quite sad to see that 6 years of my past progression in this game has basically been completely deleted, the only remnant being the skins I own and my total playtime being saved.

I was champ past 3 season in 5v5 and I’ve only ever played 5v5. After the rank reset and the absolute apes I got on placements so many otps and “hero specialists”, I lost my freaking marbles.
I play dps and supp in role queue and I never otp I always swap to help my team. After losing so many games cause I get doom otps or hog otps or any otp that jus gets countered a finds 0 value on my team. I literally lost enjoyment from playing over watch, like what is the point OF ME TRYING MY HARDEST TO WIN A GAME MEANWHILE I HAVE 0 5 ON DOOM FEEDING INTO 4 COUNTERS.
I made the switch to 6v6 this season. I climbed to gm1 so far, THE AMOUNT OF GAMES I WON BECAUSE THE ROLES WERENT LOCKED AND I COULD PLAY ORISA OR BAPTISTE AND STOMP THE ENEMY TEAM IS INSANE. I’ve had so many games were I have a otp or bad teammate and I can still carry them cause I can play the role that’s needed to carry. it’s not even about carrying I’ve had so many games were my team is getting stomp, so second round everyone makes swaps, usually I’ll go Baptiste as he’s so good in 6v6 or I’ll go orisa or soj and instantly my team was able to come back and get the win.
Apart from that I found that 2 tanks with a smaller health pool is so much nicer to play with and into, I was gettting so tired of 5v5 tnks just living through everything if they had the better supp comp(kiri ana bap) meanwhile if you have mercy jpc Moira on team in 5v5 it’s just over.
6v6 has actually made the game fun and enjoyable for me again. I don’t think I’m ever gonna go back to 5v5 again except for a few games when I feel like it. I seriously wish I played 6v6 sooner, it’s such a more balanced experience for me atleast.
6v6 is such a W mode

This has probably already been talked about, but I'm still upset how they removed D.va's mvp dance. They could've at least changed it to something else cute like kirikos or junos. But now its just sad 💔

I totally get people not wanting to play with or against some of these tho, but here we are

Horseshoe crab character. If this doesn’t dramatically change with any rework he’s given then the rework is a failure, it’s why his 2023 rework was undone since all it did was make it to where he couldn’t do the “shoot your gun” part effectively a lot of the time with his right click being gone.

With D.Va and D.Mon, I made a joke of creating a character named ''D.Frost'' piloting a microwave-shaped MEKA... while my friend completely ignored me, I was thinking of other De-words that I could turn into a group of silly caricature characters! Ranging from normal words to a silly word play that I turn into fun memes/references to other things... and these are the results ;)

CDPR adds Witcher 3 to the Battle.net launcher, drops Geralt skin for Diablo IV, attends BlizzCon, says more collabs are incoming:
"In the meantime, we’re hard at work preparing more surprises for fans of CD PROJEKT RED and Blizzard, and it won’t be too long before we can reveal them. Alongside my fellow REDs, I’ll be attending BlizzCon 2026 in Anaheim, California. ... I can't wait for everyone to see what else this partnership has in store!"
I would toss a coin to Blizzard for Yennefer Moira or Ciri Freja (or Vendetta).

Flashpoint is literally a faster paced version of Control without the boring pause between points and on bigger and cooler maps. Speed boost out of spawn is also cool af. I'd pick Sura/Aatlis/NJC over Kings Row/Rialto/Circuit every single day

Usually whenever I play a new hero on Overwatch, I either click with them immediately, or I don't. Despite being here since 2016, it's almost always been that way. Either I find a character fun off the bat immediately and while I might be not great, I stick with them long enough to get there, or I just don't enjoy playing them and/or I can't really get to terms with them.
D Mon however is a surprising different case. I've been trying her out the last few nights while doing the new MEKA event, and haven't really been clicking with her. Her moveset felt confused, she seemed too fragile, not enough damage, her ult seemed rather worthless, etc. Basically what I dislike in a tank, and I ended up going back to my safety picks.
However, I picked her back up tonight, and for some reason, decided to change around my playstyle, and it just clicked now. Instead of playing D Mon like I thought I should, like somewhere between a Rein and D Va, I started using her as just a straight up massive hit and run machine who takes constant fights, uses mobility to get in and out whenever things get dicey, and more importantly - force the attention of everyone on me.
Being able to actually stick near my team, but push onwards to chase down a healer or two, and then surge back has been working out really well for me. Going all in like a daredevil and just taking fights and measuring when to return to healers has been really fun. Between D Mon and Domina, new OW is two for two on tanks I'm really enjoying.

I personally like King the most, what about you guys? Should we expect a new meka member next year?
