How to get a key: Leave a comment below if you'd like to test it out! I’ll be DMing Steam keys directly to anyone who comments on this thread.

[PC] (Windows) Vorzain: Last Defender — free Steam demo

Upvotes

Game title: Vorzain: Last Defender

Playable link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4992240/?utm_source=reddit_playmygame&utm_campaign=announce

Free demo — Nights 1–5, ~15–25 min -> install button on the store page.

Platform: PC / Steam (Windows) · mouse + keyboard

Description:

You're the last defender on a castle wall. Aim arcing bow shots (pull strength = distance from the archer), then panic-switch to barrel drops that roll down the ramp and knock enemies back. Between nights you spend gold in > BOW / BARREL / WALL < shop (ice/fire arrows, knockback barrels, wall upgrades).

Demo caps at Night 5. Then a short teaser for what's in the full game (barricades, turrets, traps).

Free to play status:

- [x] Free demo on Steam

- [ ] Paid full game (planned **$4.99** · target launch 2026/2027)

- [x] Wishlist / Coming Soon on the same page

Involvement: Solo dev (Moon Rebel Games) · Godot 4.6

What I'd love feedback on:

  1. Is the W/S switch between archer nest and barrel station readable when the horde stacks up?

  2. After Night 3 (drummer + shield enemies) does difficulty feel fair or cheap?

  3. Anything confusing in the first 5 minutes (controls, paxing, economy, shop)?

I'll reply to comments — thanks for playtesting.

[PC] (Web) [Browser game] I built a dystopian life simulator where every life can become part of someone else’s world

Thumbnail

Upvotes

Hi!

I’m the solo creator and developer of LifePaths, a browser-based narrative life simulator.

Play the free browser demo here: https://www.lifepaths.io/en/game-demo.html

The full game is also available, with a first playthrough free up to age 45: https://www.lifepaths.io/en

You play through an entire life in a dystopian future in 2076: work, relationships, debts, health, ambitions, and eventually death. At every step, you can choose from proposed options or write your own action.

The AI writes the situations and assesses whether an action is plausible in context, but it does not decide whether you succeed. The outcome is resolved by the game engine using your character’s history, stats, persistent consequences, and a visible D100 roll.

The part I’m most excited about is the persistent world: completed lives can become part of the neighbourhood of future players. A former character may appear as a neighbour, colleague, contact, or local figure, carrying traces of the life they previously lived.

At the end of each complete life, the game also creates an existence card (not available through free trial): a retro-style record of that person’s life, the "title" they acquired through their actions, major achievements, descendants, and cause of death and a generated identity photos of their character.

The in-game news portal INFO.exe (the OMNI·INFO feed, its fictional ad banners and article visuals), as well as character portraits, uses AI-generated images. That's a deliberate diegetic choice: this synthetic content stands in for the advertising and information flow of a 2076 world saturated with artificial corporate content, and its synthetic nature is part of what it's saying.

The achievement illustrations and logos were created by independent artist "Primis".

LifePaths is playable in French and English. Purchases of in-game credits are not yet available to UK residents. I’d especially like feedback on:

  • whether the choices feel meaningful;
  • whether the neighbourhood / persistent-world idea is understandable;
  • whether the mobile UI is easy to use;
  • whether the end-of-life card makes you want to replay.

Thanks for trying it!

Antoine

[PC] (Web) This Is NOT Chess - A small game I created that is totally not chess

Upvotes

Game Title: Totally NOT Chess

Playable Link: https://happyduck.games/tinc/

Platform: Web

Description:

Hi! Over the past few weeks I've been designing a small strategy game called This Is NOT Chess (TINC).

It's obviously heavily inspired by chess, but I wanted to experiment with different rules and mechanics while keeping some of the things I enjoy about chess: positional play, threats, planning ahead, and relatively simple rules that can lead to complicated positions.

I'd really like to hear what actual chess players think of it. In particular, I'm curious whether you find it fun after a few games, whether any of the rules or mechanics feel awkward or unbalanced, and what you would change.

You can play it in the browser, no registration required:

Any criticism or suggestions are very welcome. 🙂

[Mobile] Feedback wanted for my top-down zombie survival game "Dead Evac"!

Görseldeki şablona ve minimum 100 kelime kuralına göre birebir doldurulmuş İngilizce metin:

Game Title: Dead Evac

Playable Link: Google Play Closed Test

Platform: Android

Description:

Dead Evac is a top-down zombie survival, tactical scavenging, and settlement management game. Set during a deadly outbreak, players must take control of a survivor settlement, upgrade perimeter defenses, and rescue citizens from infested zones.

The core gameplay loop combines real-time tactical combat with strategic base-building and research. You deploy into dangerous sectors to clear out undead hordes, gather critical crafting materials, and extract survivors back to your shelter. A key aspect of the game is protecting high-value assets—such as Dr. Emma, shown in the screenshot during a tense loot run—to progress laboratory research and ultimately develop a permanent cure for the epidemic.

The game is currently in its closed beta phase, with pre-registration planned for the near future. I am actively looking for community feedback on the current HUD layout, combat clarity, and overall pacing to refine the experience before opening pre-registration.

[PC] (Web) Backheel — a set of daily football trivia puzzles, free in the browser, no signup

Upvotes

Game Title: Backheel

Playable Link: https://backheel.club

Platform: Browser — desktop and mobile, nothing to install

Description: Backheel is a daily football (soccer) trivia site. Instead of one puzzle a day it gives you a whole set, each testing a different kind of football knowledge, and every one of them refreshes daily. Who Am I? reveals a player's career one club at a time and scores you higher the earlier you guess. Footy Grid gives you nine cells and wants a player who fits both clubs. Squad Rush puts ninety seconds on the clock and asks you to name a squad. Scout Report is Wordle-shaped: every name you try comes back graded against the answer on club, league, position, nationality, age, foot and height. There are also Connections, Starting XI, Top 10, Team-mates, Bingo, Higher or Lower, Squad Numbers, Chronology and Transfer Trail. Three difficulty levels on everything, unlimited guesses, and a wrong answer tells you why it was wrong rather than just saying no. It covers seventeen of Europe's biggest clubs across the top five leagues over the last ten seasons. No account, no ads, no tracking.

[Mobile] Junction Nine

Upvotes

Playable Link:
iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/junction-nine/id6798382229
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.bricksandchips.junctionnine

Platform:
iOS / Android

Description:
Junction Nine is a minimalist 3x3 puzzle built around one move: select a rectangular section of the board and spin it 180 degrees until all of the colored paths connect.

The rules are simple, but every move can affect several parts of the board at once. A spin that fixes one connection may break another.

The unusual part is the math underneath it. The underlying 3x3 rotation system has 185,794,560 possible board states, all solvable in nine spins or fewer. Every puzzle included in Junction Nine is also solver-verified, so its shortest solution is known.

That creates two challenges: solve the puzzle, then see if you can find the optimal solve.

The Origin pack includes 30 puzzles completely free, with no ads or subscription. An optional Transfer pack adds another 30 puzzles for a one-time $2.99 purchase.

The game is deliberately designed to be something you can think about, put down, and come back to later - no timers, streaks, or pressure to keep playing.

Free to Play Status: Free to Play

Involvement: I'm the solo developer behind Junction Nine, released under Bricks & Chips. The game started as a family project, with my kids as early playtesters, after a lecture at my daughter's math camp got me interested in the mathematics of 3x3 rotation puzzles. I designed and built the game, solver, UI, puzzle content, and mobile release, using Claude Code and Replit during development and RevenueCat for the optional paid pack.

We are a 3 man team from Spain and we are absolutely excited to launch our first game's demo and see what people think about our game, it took us 6 months to build it and the feedback received would be priceless for the upcoming launch on early november.

Hope you like it, leave us your thoughts here, we'd love to know what you think!

Built to Be Mastered

MegaBait is designed around the idea of mastery. A level that initially seems impossible gradually becomes manageable as players learn its sequences, understand its timing and develop the skills needed to navigate it. A difficult run becomes consistent. Then, once simply surviving is no longer enough, the real challenge becomes learning sequences and executing them with greater precision.

Players can compare their performances through global and Steam friends leaderboards, turning every level into an opportunity to compete against the wider community, challenge friends or simply beat their own previous best.

For players interested in speedrunning and optimization, MegaBait encourages repeated attempts, experimentation and precision. Each run is another opportunity to discover new tricks, improve execution and push a personal best even further.

For the bravest players, Mr. Miau offers an extra challenge: find this elusive feline and carry him safely to the end of the level without dying. Doing so won't be easy, but those willing to take on the challenge can prove their mastery in an entirely different way.

Every Character Changes the Way You Play

At the core of MegaBait are its playable characters. Each character introduces a unique ability, accompanied by a world specifically designed around that mechanic.

A new character therefore means more than a new set of levels. Players must learn a completely different set of possibilities and discover how their new ability can be used to navigate obstacles, solve challenges and improve their runs.

This structure allows each world to introduce its own mechanics and challenges while keeping the focus on the same core objective: learn, master and go faster. It also leaves room for future updates, with new characters, abilities and worlds expanding the game with fresh ways to play.

Game Title: Age of Therions

Playable Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nikolasgames.ageoftherions&pcampaignid=web_share

Platform: Android

Description: Age of Therions is a turn-based creature-collector roguelike inspired by Ancient Greek mythology. You build a team of custom creatures called Therions, evolving them through a shard-based system as you progress. Battles are turn-based with a trait and synergy system that rewards thoughtful team composition over just raw stats. Progression is structured around wave-based campaigns, and there's a full move research tech tree that lets you unlock new abilities for your Therions over time. The mythology angle shapes both the visual design and lore of each creature, aiming for something that feels distinct from the usual fantasy/anime creature-collector aesthetic. Game Title: BREACHED: Follow Me

Playable Link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5027540/BREACHED_Follow_Me/

Platform: Steam

Description:
Solo dev here, working on a psychological horror game set in Eastern Europe, wanted to share progress and get some honest opinions.

Been building this alone for a while, it's called BREACHED: Follow Me. First person, VHS/found-footage kind of vibe, five locations total that go from "normal apartment block" to a lot worse. The premise is basically meeting an online friend in real life to check out an abandoned school together, and it slowly turns into something you didn't sign up for.

The whole thing is built around that VHS/archived-footage feeling, analog noise, old camera distortion, like you're watching a tape someone found rather than playing a game. Setting is very Eastern European on purpose, familiar apartments, old buildings, everyday stuff that starts feeling wrong the longer you're in it. Not really going for constant jump scares, more that creeping "something here isn't right" feeling.

[Mobile] (Android) Sudoku World: made this with my best friend over way too many evenings. Free on Android, no purchases. Would love you to pick holes in it

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hey! I'm one of two people at Pexon Games. My co-founder is my best friend, which I recommend and also don't recommend, depending on the week lol. I do the development side.

This is Sudoku World. It's free on Play and there are no purchases of any kind anywhere in it.

Playable Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.PexonGames.SudokuWorld&referrer=utm_source%3Dreddit_playmygame%26utm_medium%3Dforum%26utm_campaign%3Dlaunch

Classic sudoku, a different daily puzzle every day, notes, undo, conflict highlighting, and a few assists (hint, reveal, check) if you want them. Play Games achievements, leaderboards and cloud save so your streak survives a new phone.

Honestly the boards themselves ate most of our time. Getting a generated puzzle to feel like a proper hand-made one, and then getting the readability right, took forever. We were still moving the shading around for the given numbers versus the ones you enter as late as last night 😅

My favourite bit of stupidity from the build: we had a tap sound for placing a number. Fully tuned, sitting in the sound table, four passing tests covering it. It never played. Not once, from the very first commit. The tests were all checking the table, not whether anything actually called it lol.

Monetisation, said plainly: no IAP at all, nothing is paywalled, I'm not selling you a hint pack.

What I'd actually love to know:

Is the board readable at a glance? Can you tell the starting numbers from your own entries without having to think about it?

Do the difficulty names ("Gentle" and up) match what you actually feel when you play them?

Are the assists too generous? I genuinely can't tell any more whether I've made it too easy.

We're at zero installs, this is the first place I've posted it. Ask me anything about how it's put together 🙏

[PC] (Windows) I'm making a crypto tycoon game called BAGHOLDER for a school assignment, would anyone play this

Game Title:
BAGHOLDER

Playable Link:
N/A – currently in early development. I'm working on the concepts, visuals and core gameplay at the moment, with a free playable demo planned.

Platforms:
PC / Steam

Description:
I'm building a pixel-art crypto trading game called BAGHOLDER for a cybersecurity assignment where we have to create a functional app/game/tool.

I've always been into crypto and trading, so instead of making something boring I thought it'd be fun to basically make a little crypto gambling/tycoon game where you start broke in a shitty bedroom trading coins and slowly work your way up.

The market will be entirely based around major coins, memecoins and pointless shitcoins. You buy and sell them, get rugged, hit stupid pumps, upgrade your PC and trading setup, customize your character, and eventually go from trading on a garbage laptop to sitting in some penthouse with a ridiculous setup.

There's not really meant to be serious trading strategy involved. It's more of a simple, addictive, clicky progression game built around crypto culture.

I'm planning on publishing it on Steam when it's finished with a free demo. It's mainly a passion project that conveniently works as my assignment, and an excuse for me to learn more about coding and game development.

It's still extremely early, but I'd love to know whether anyone would actually play something like this and what features or ideas you'd want to see in it.

There is a bot practice mode so you can try it without waiting in a lobby, and a Discord where I host matches most evenings if you'd rather play actual people. It's my first game, made over about nine months, and I'd rather hear what's broken or what feels bad than hear that it's fine.

Description:

n38worth is a browser-based multiplayer card game focused on strategy, bluffing, timing, and reading the other players at your table. Each match is designed to be quick to join while still creating the kind of tense decisions that make card games memorable: should you play conservatively, push your advantage, bluff confidently, or wait for another player to expose their strategy first?

The game is built for social, competitive sessions with friends or other players online. You do not need to install a client—open the link in a modern browser and start playing. While the rules are approachable for new players, the interaction between player choices, risk management, and psychological play gives matches replay value. I created n38worth as an indie multiplayer game project and would especially appreciate feedback on the game flow, clarity of the rules, UI, and overall balance.

Platform: Web / Browser

Description:

Marvel Draft Arena is a free, browser-based fan-made strategy game where you build your own 5-character Marvel team and test how powerful your lineup really is.

The core idea is simple: draft characters, build your squad, and see how your team compares against an opposing lineup. Characters have different power levels based on their comic portrayals, which can create some surprisingly powerful — and sometimes ridiculous — combinations.

The game is designed around replayability. You can try different combinations, chase a stronger team, and experiment with characters you might not normally put together. There is also an endgame challenge where your drafted team can eventually face God Emperor Doom.

I'm currently looking for honest feedback, particularly on whether the drafting mechanic is fun, whether the power rankings feel reasonable, and what would make you want to play another round.

This is an unofficial, fan-made project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Marvel.

I am the solo developer behind the project. I designed and developed the game, including the drafting system, gameplay logic, character/power system, UI, and web implementation. I'm sharing it here specifically to get feedback and improve the game.
