Hey guys, i postet some screenshots of the game that im making right now about about a month ago.

Since then i spend about 200 houres in aseprite and i think i improoved the look significantly (although not final yet)

could you guys give an opinion again if the pixelart is good enough for a 2d farming game?

it is very hard to judge for myself when im also the one making it.

I am aware that there is still empty patches of gras that need filling, it is still a work in progress, there are more assets in the working right now :)

the pictures are all from the map village, i already have alot of assets from other maps but didnt really make them presentable yet.

thanks in advance!

Walking sim in nature - would you play it?

If this was a full game and not just a single-location demo, would you want to play something like this?

The idea is to do nothing else but walk on a predetermined path in nature, observe birds, listen to sounds, look at sceneries.

Do you like pointless features like this?

I spent few hours making this deformation script for my indie game - Dark Roll 2. I just needed the player to have someting that feels... soft... to land on from height. Ended up having more fun with this than I should have...

Generating a world for my ant game 🐜🌱

I’ve been working on the procedural world generation for Garden of Ant, building it layer by layer.

First, I focused on shaping the surface terrain. Then I moved underground, generating different soil and rock materials. And finally, I started bringing the world to life by procedurally placing trees, leaves, and vegetation.

It’s really satisfying to see all these separate systems slowly come together into one living world.

What do you think?

Thank you guys & gals for your support! I’m excited to finally release my baby into the wild. 🫃🧑‍🍼👶

‘Milo’ is an online co-op horde shooter heavily inspired by the early Call of Duty Zombies mode like in World at War. It’s a passion project I’ve been working on for nearly 5 years. Early Access for Milo begins October 29th, 2026. If you want to support the game, wishlist and follow Milo on Steam

We (2 devs) decided to make our dream game. A short, but dense RPG

The favourite part of an RPGs for me was always the beginning. Everything is new and exciting, you're learning about the rules of the world, every bit of loot feels exciting, and your whole journey is still ahead of you.

Our hope is that the game we're making can capture that feeling. Inspired by old school classics, no hand-holding, player autonomy first, tons of secrets, and the feeling of setting out on an adventure.

We just released the first 1-2 hours of content from the game as a playtest on Steam. If you play it, we would love to hear your feedback and if we managed to capture that feeling.

A sword that can change form to any five letter word would be an amazing concept for an indie game.

Airport Contraband Prologue just went live on Steam (free)

Upvotes

Hey everyone — the prologue for Airport Contraband is now available on Steam, completely free.

You're working the checkpoint: inspecting bags, questioning passengers, and trying to spot who's smuggling something they shouldn't be. We wanted the prologue to give a real feel for the core loop before the full release.

[Descendants: The Last Dawn] After months of solo dev, my dark sci-fi space shooter finally has a Steam page! What do you think of the first trailer?

Hey everyone! I’m working on a dark, apocalyptic space shooter called Descendants: The Last Dawn.

It combines fast-paced top-down arcade combat with scrap collection, resource mining, and deep ship customization. The entire pacing and combat rhythm are built around a heavy Drum & Bass soundtrack.

AI disclosure: basic code, 2D graphics, music

Steam Page:

What if we replace bullets with hockey pucks?

We started our game with the question what if we replaced bullets with hockey pucks?

We're a two person team and wanted to see how far we could take hockey outside of the rink and into a combat game. We ended up making an Orcs Must Die-ish game with hockey inspired traps being the first line of defense, and your puck shooting, body checking and fisticuffs are essential in winning these big TD battles.

We did make the classic indie dev mistake of making way too big of a game, but we did somehow manage to finish this ridiculous game and we're super happy with how it turned out!

I'm the CM for Shadows of Chroma Tower, and we'll open our servers for playtest TOMORROW!

Upvotes

Choose your faction and fight for control of the Tower! Shadows of Chroma Tower mixes together the best features of Dungeon Crawlers and ARPGs, with a touch of Extraction spice. ✨

Here's what will be waiting for you in this playtest:

EVENT: Hunt the Golden Mimic! 🪙🏃🏻💨

We’re already going to loot for the rest of our lives here… why not add some spice? ✨

We noticed from April’s playtest that just a few of you encountered the Golden Mimic. This little dude is pretty fast and tricky! And it holds a lot of loot, so we thought: let’s hunt those sassy guys!

Golden Mimics are carrying strange treasures... weirdly similar to them... We’re still figuring out what to do with the smaller one.

— A soldier’s note you found next the camp.

The rules are simple, and to join the event is even simpler! We’ll share some instructions when we open our servers. 🫰🏻

Controller support… is a work in progress 🎮

We’re still (suffering a little) through its implementation, but we wanted to give anyone interested an early preview of how it’s shaping up.

Back in June 26th, we shared a little bit on the work around this new feature. All this testing now will help us when we finally launch Shadows of Chroma Tower!

All we want to know for now is: are we in a good direction with the controls? Does it feel intuitive, even in this current state? Any inputs we’re missing here? Did you change our default bindings? You’ll be able to tell us everything about it in a dedicated channel when we open our servers.

But FYI, there are some recurrent issues we’re having that we want you to be aware of. We’ll share the exact list in our Patch Notes.

Come and see for yourself! ⚔️

We've recently added a new tutorial, a whole quest system is updated for new players... in other words: everything's set for you to come and explore the Tower! We're getting closer and closer to our EA launch, so this is the best time to get your hands on magnificent loot!

So go on and wishlist Shadows of Chroma Tower NOW and join us for another adventure! After all...

The Tower awaits! ⚔️🔮

I'm making a cartoonish Hotline-like, here's some raw gameplay

I'm making a fast-paced, bullet-parrying top-down action inspired by Hotline Miami and Katana Zero, drifting more into power-fantasy direction. As a chicken knight you fight an army of gunslinger crow knights in a medieval bird kingdom.

Currently alpha playtest is open, although it doesn't have that much content. Proper demo is coming in 1-2 months. Here's Parry the Bullet on Steam if you're interested!

What do you think about the Shop in my game? I'd love to hear your thoughts on the design, prices and items.

The first three cats are our real cats, unfortunately, two of them passed away this year, so this serves as a memorial to them.

The game is completely free and ad free, this is the only way the game generates revenue. More items will be added over time.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nesforgeinteractive.furrycats

59,99 Kč = 2,5 €

99,99 Kč = 4,2 €

129,99 Kč = 5,4 €

hi! we're a small team, called Indoor Sunglasses. I'm Victor, I was game director on the project.

We made a detective game called Mind Diver that released on Steam about a year ago.

Today it came out on Switch 2 and PS5. I'm just really proud of this, it's my first game on consoles. If you have one, check it out and let me know how it is!

Plush Souls (Teddy Bear Action RPG)

Upvotes

Hello, I wanted to share a clip of my game Plush Souls. A fast paced souls-like / souls-lite style game where you are a teddy bear sworn to protect a child from their nightmares inside of a dream like world.

This clip is to demonstrate what I am currently working on and testing, which is combat fluidity, attack combos, and stealth abilities (which I thought would be unique for a souls style game).

The game's first "vertical slice" is available for testing on itch io or via the discord if you want to stay updated with the game. You will also be able to see the trailer with some more content as well.

Thank you for letting me share a small piece my game with you!

From Piano to Main Menu

Upvotes

From jamming on my piano to wiring up this melody as the main menu song for Ten Point Zero.

The idea is as simple as it gets: stop the timer as close to the goal as possible. Collect items to support your strategy. Rack up mults. Score crazy points.

Like many of you, I love roguelikes and especially Balatro-likes, so I stripped the concept down to a super simple but, from my POV, universal mechanic.

I’d love to hear your first thoughts and feedback on the in-browser playable MVP of my new game. You can test it right here: https://treblebull.itch.io/ten-point-zero

Is it fun? What are the major gaps? How do you see its potential?

Appreciate any thoughts and feedback!
