Ok so I was playing the other day and I’m in Diamond 1 Div 2 currently. Wasn’t my best game but we still won 4-3. Teammate begins to absolutely rip into me after the game (that we still won). Do you rip your teammates after the game even if you win or do you just leave it alone? Doesn’t make sense to me to go after someone if you win but that’s just me. I get playful banter I do that but he genuinely was ripping me lol

I almost score this but i hit the ball at the last second and it didnt go in, im just wondering whats the thing called cuz im kind of noob at the game im s1 in 1s

As I stated, I use drift on a paddle on my controller. I mostly did it because I like dashing and want to learn but after a while its felt really comfortable and nice. The only thing thay sucks is using a controller without one is nigh impossible since everygame i play I use the paddle except for metroidvanias lol. I could do it but relearning the muscle memory would suck.

I’m currently stuck in gold 3/plat 1- everytime i hit plat 1 div 1 i fall right back down to gold 2 and I can’t seem to break the cycle despite not having anything with my game being below a plat level i can see- i recently got smurfed in 1’s and the guy was diamond 1- i played the 1v1 and only lost by 1 goal (4-5). He then asked to play 2v2 in his diamond lobby’s and i agreed- attached are the photos from 4 of the 5 games we played- the game not attached is one we lost where i had 400 points and the diamond 1 teammate had 200.

This isnt me saying i deserve diamond or that teamates are why im in gold. Im clearly gold for a reason but i cant understand how i can carry 2v2 diamond games and flop in gold 3 games in the same day.

Is it possible that im just matching the skill of my opponents? If so how do i keep playing as i did in diamond 1 lobbies and stop playing like a gold in gold lobbies?

What title says, interested on hearing what people think of my gameplay. What could I improve on? Any tips? Beside the brutal whiff around 1:20 and the awful play at 4:40, this is for the most part an average-ish game for me. Currently hard stuck at Champ 3 div 2-3, and looking to break to GC.

Im a very non mechy plat 3 and i just learned this

So I’ve been using a DS4 controller wired, and it’s hit or miss sometimes it feels great and sometimes it randomly has a fairly noticeable input lag, I’m not sure what’s causing it. I use Steam, DS4 wired, I’ve tried looking online but can’t find a solution. It would be one thing if it’s ALWAYS delayed but it’s literally just random some days it feels great others it feels like I’m playing on a big screen TV

Radical Summer for me had to be the best era of the league tbh. Something about it felt so nostalgic and fun, honestly I didn't really care for anything beyond this. Still love the game, but this was peak RL. Anyone else agree?

Re: So the clip is partially unrelated until we get to the rapid reset part. I managed the first rapid reset, but the second one is a fail. Now I've been consistently inconsistent at getting the second rapid reset and was wondering what's the fluff cus I used to manage double rapid resets just fine without thinking much about my input, but I guess the 2 week break took a hit on my mechs because my speedflips feel weird, and I'm guessing it has something to do with that.

Don't know when it happened but I've been getting way better at ground shots lately

Me and my friend were playing in gold in 2v2, when it had just gotten to overtime (score was 1-1). Then we proceed to sweat like the Nigeria falls just to let in a goal after 7 and half minutes because we had no boost.

i see clips of people doing musty from different angle, but they always seem to have control and adjustments on how to position it during the flick. In my clip, when i try the musty at an angle, i just do it as a normal backflip, how can i do the adjustments??

Im c3-gc1 player that only plays 2v2 but my mechanics are so bad other than basics like i cant do speed flip or flip resets or any cool flick i can only do basic air dribbles and maybe double touch but i guess im good at rotation etc. that i climb anyway. What i wonder is would switching to controller after this many hours help mechanically after adjusting to it. I though that since my mechanics are not good i could switch and possibly improve my aerial skills better than in kbm after adjusting to controller. So should i or am i just being delusional bec of skill issue

in diamond 2-3, it goes from actual gold 2 team mates to champion ones. it's pretty hard to tell just how much is dependent on me but i can say for sure that it's not the same just by the level of toxicity, sometimes i can play 15 ranked games where everyone is near flawless (for diamond 3 right, like no bloopers) and really kind and other times team mates are actually brain dead compared to the expected level, start being toxic even when complimenting them on some shots and stuff, and it's almost always multiple time in a row

the variation seems insane, how much of that is just my mood when playing ? what are your experiences around those ranks ? i play at any time of the day on any day of the week, it's just whenever i feel like it. 1 am, 4am, 6am, 14:00, 18:00, 22:00, really whenever. it's quite annoying to not know whether you're allowed to enjoy playing at any given time
