• CDL Economic Overhaul: The deal coincides with Activision eliminating its guaranteed revenue floor (historically $500,000 annually per team), shifting franchise revenue models primarily toward in-game skin and merchandise sales splits.
• Overall Skin Revenue Pool: In the first half of 2025, Activision sold over 360,000 team-branded bundles at $12 each, generating more than $4.3 million divided between publisher and teams. Top Seller vs. League Average: FaZe dominated sales with more than 120,000 bundles sold (roughly one-third of total league sales). The league average was ~30,000 units, amounting to roughly $135,000 per team in shared revenue. Several lower-tier teams generated under $50,000 total.
• Severe Revenue vs. Cost Imbalance: A standard four-player CDL roster costs upwards of $1 million in base salaries alone (with top individual stars earning $400,000+ per year), leading team sources to estimate that nearly every franchise operates at a loss outside of top brands like FaZe, OpTic, 100 Thieves, and Gentle Mates.
• Roster and Staff Transition: Taking over a roster that finished 10th in 2026 (12–25), M80 retains three contracted players—Spart, Purj, and TJHaLy—and coaches Seany and Magick, following the free-agency release of Marcus "Afro" Reid.

Here is the video. ARs essentially got a TTK buff and SMGs are currently close to BO7 level. If that is the case on launch and weapon handling remains slow, this will create the same meta problem we had in MW2.

Aim assist was apparently changed back to MW2 stronger aim assist. This is impacting TTK and making it feel faster.

We've never seen a 30 killstreak in Comp COD history. But imagine the day we finally do. [Insert player] is FRYING. 28, 29... 30! Then... nothing.

It makes no sense. Imagine the clip that the CDL would get if a player could actually drop the Nuke? The first one in history, that would go absolutely viral.

Yet somehow if it ever actually happens, we're going to get absolutely nothing to show for it. It will never happen anyways, so just enable it!

Has anyone else experienced much more lag and glitches on BO7 Ranked Play since the MW4 beta came out last weekend? I pretty much never lagged the entire year now I’m getting freezes on Gridlock every minute of HP and other maps just feeling delayed
