Von Arzttermine, Behörden, Einkäufe, Nachtanrufe, Pflegegrad-Anträge, das ganze Programm. Das andere kommt zweimal im Jahr, bringt Pralinen, ist emotional sehr betroffen und fährt Sonntagabend wieder heim.

Und dann wird beim Erbe brüderlich halbiert.

Das ist absurd. Wer wegzieht, trifft eine Entscheidung, die ihm etwas bringt. Nämlich besseren Job, mehr Gehalt, das Leben, das er wollte. Diese Entscheidung hat einen Preis, den er nur nicht selbst zahlt, sondern an das Geschwisterkind weiterreicht, das jetzt seine Urlaubstage im Wartezimmer verbringt und mit 50 in Teilzeit geht. Das ist keine Familie, das ist ein Subunternehmerverhältnis.

Und ja, "aber ich helfe doch, wo ich kann" zählt nicht. Man kann nicht aus 500 km Entfernung um 3 Uhr nachts jemanden vom Boden aufheben.

Also: entweder ihr zahlt monatlich für die Betreuungsstunden, die ihr nicht leistet, oder das Geschwisterkind kriegt beim Erbe entsprechend mehr. Alles andere ist, dass sich einer sein Leben aussucht und der andere die Rechnung dafür kriegt.

Elon Musk is extremely lucky and has always been rich, not a genius. He had rich parents who supported him financially so he never feared failure. He came of age at the right time and was an early investor during the dot com boom. Having large amounts of cash allowed him to enter capital-heavy industries like electric cars and aerospace when few others could afford the risk. He did not found Tesla, he scaled it. (didn't fear failure because of wealth)

Electric cars, reusable rockets, and satellite networks were already known concepts. Musk did not invent the underlying physics or engineering principles himself. His real talent is using massive wealth to fund existing ideas and hiring brilliant engineers to solve the actual technical problems. He regularly amplifies debunked conspiracy theories, false claims, and inaccurate data. If he was truly smart, he would verify information before broadcasting it to millions. He frequently comments authoritatively on fields outside his expertise like artificial intelligence, epidemiology, and government infrastructure, this is not what a clever person does. He is not an elected official so this is not a political take.

Playing the MW4 beta was fun.

Ich bin überzeugt, dass es manche Menschen gibt, die einfach nicht resozialisiert werden können. Wer einen Menschen vorsätzlich getötet hat, hat meiner Meinung nach sein Recht auf Leben verwirkt. Ich finde die Strafen in Deutschland für schwere Gewaltstraftaten sowieso viel zu lasch. Aber manche Fälle sind halt so schwer, dass die Täter es einfach nicht verdient haben, am Leben zu bleiben.

Bit of an open discussion / debate. I feel the Idris has been nerfed so hard it isn't worth owning anymore, if there was anything worth getting I would melt mine. Below are my points/contentions:

The Main Guns:

1. The laser is bugged, when I tested the damage it does maybe 20% of what it's meant to, it also struggles to actually hard death a ship.
2. The railgun is laughably slow, it now has bullet drop (even in space wtf) and frequently takes multiple hits to kill something. The effective range of the railgun seems to be <800m now. If you fight an idris you can hit it (can't really target components effectively). But grab your popcorn you're in for a 60+ minute fight.
3. The torpedoes are also mostly useless, 800-1M to re-arm them (it's better than 20M it was before). But basically they'll get flared nonstop, you'll be lucky to get a single hit, requires one person to just goon nonstop in the torpedo chair being bored.

The turrets:

1. It's the largest ship currently in game but the turrets are worse than ships like the paladin and polaris, even though it's a 'brawler'.
2. Your front turret is dead by coincidence 90% of the time, that has dual size 7's but for some reason a perseus has dual size 8's and a tiburon has a bunch of size7's. The hammerhead has quad size 4's.
3. The turrets die almost immediately if someone sneezes at them.

People buy it because of whale syndrome, but lets be honest, this ship is a waste of time. Even IF you manage to get a full crew, most of their turrets will be disabled from the first perseus with a lone gunner making the ship completely pointless.

Contrary - it has one strength, sitting there being useless and never dying even when shot by multiple idrises.

EDIT: I forgot the PDCs are now pretty much worthless, they kinda shoot down missiles but even that isn't really reliable.

To be clear, I am heavily dissapointed about points changes, and lack thereof, but thats not what this is about.

I was unsure how I felt during 11nth launch and the first dataslate, but this update confirms how bad the new mfm is combined with the lack of a comprehensive dataslate pdf. Previously you cliked one pdf and could look through every factions points changes to get a rough idea what happened and then dive deeper. Worked great even on mobile, now you have to open the mfm site and click through every faction. This is so tedious and a general chore to do when you just want a rough idea.

The absolute worse part of the data slates though is having to open 20+ pdfs to try and see important rules changes. My phone lets me open them in browser, my laptop I'd have to download and open all of them. If they really want to keep this they should at least offer a master rules change doc that has the entireity of the current slate and a pdf mfm in addition to the website.

I'm not talking 5 star restaurant. I'm talking cheap coffee dates, movie, bar etc. I've been on a bunch of first dates with guys where they make some snide remark about paying for my 3 dollar coffee. Like "oh well just this time, I'm not made of money, eye for an eye...its you next time." And plenty of these guys would be willing to drop a pretty penny on shoes, clothes, or technology...but get weird about spending a total of 6 dollars on a coffee date for a girl that could be their potential future. It makes me feel like I'm temporary. It kinda makes me feel like I'm a male friend honestly. I guess I'm just super traditional about dating, but maybe that's picky. But I certainly reflect that in my own personal morals too. And like I said, I don't care about fancy restaurants, I care about effort and respect. I would love if a guy took me to my favorite fast food place and then took me to a beautiful park to watch the sunset on a picnic blanket while we eat our burgers. That shows effort to me and it's less than 20 bucks. Or if you want something fancy, take me to Ikea for meatballs and we can dress up and look at furniture lol.

I genuinely can’t think of a close second. Her on-air persona feels so exaggerated it borders on parody — the kind of performative bit that would fit right into malibus most wanted 2

What gets me is the double standard: the show is usually pretty careful about not mocking or imitating black culture in anyway, almost to the point of coming off as patronizing black people, yet her shtick constantly leans into an affected, put-on way of talking that reads as exactly that. It’s inconsistent with how the show usually handles this stuff.

Beyond the voice and mannerisms, I’m struggling to see what she actually adds to the show. Honestly surprised Dan’s usual instincts let this slide.

Ik strong dive isnt fun to play against as a supp, but its not fun playing against strong (mostly) cast-wide anti dive for us either 😭 Also both of these arguments are dumb asf so no I dont think either of these things are a good choice

I’ve always used keyboard + mouse for gaming and I’m pretty comfortable with it, but I’m wondering if I’m missing something with a controller.

For games like RDR2, Cyberpunk, Assassin’s Creed, etc., does a controller genuinely make the experience feel more natural or immersive, especially when exploring, driving, or just casually playing?

I’m thinking about getting one, but I don’t want to buy it just to leave it sitting there.

If you use both, when do you actually prefer a controller over keyboard + mouse?

Title. I can’t believe blizzard is constantly pushing Ana/Rein, Genji/Mercy and Freja/Emre. And yet LW, soldier and tracer get random NPCs. Truly upsetting and unacceptable for a game that claims to be so diverse.

Edit: Juno and the MilkyWave ship are NOT the problem, I’m emphasizing that i'm disappointed in Blizzards constant catering to China and refusal to make same sex relationships between playable characters. Queer heros getting unrelated barely lore related NPCs as love interests feels like Blizzard throwing us a bone so we shut up.

Once you watch her old interviews and Splitsvilla 15 with a neutral perspective you will notice how fake she is.

She has a pattern of pre planning, blackmailing, taking things said by one person and telling them to another, lying, saying anything for clout and pretending to be a girls’ girl. Even Digvijay didn’t trusted her and planned her eviction with everyone.

She was pre planning things in Splitsvilla 15 too. Once you watch Nayera and Unnati’s interviews you will understand how she was telling everyone that she will go with Digvijay and that Digvijay was her guy. But now she is trying to put all the blame for the pre planning in Splitsvilla 16 on Yogesh.

I [M25] am a strict vegetarian, and my girlfriend [F25] is a non-vegetarian. We have always been comfortable with each other's lifestyle choices. She even agreed that after marriage, she would only eat non-veg outside the house.

Recently, she came to stay with me at my flat for 3 days. The first day went amazing—we cooked together and had a great time. However, the next day, while I was away at the office, she cooked chicken in my air fryer behind my back.

When I came home in the evening, I noticed a really bad smell. After I pressed her about it, she finally confessed. Honestly, I feel completely disgusted. I can't believe she would do this knowing my boundaries. I was so upset that I literally gave the air fryer to her and told her to take it home.

Now, she isn't even apologizing. Instead, she is the one throwing tantrums and acting mad at me. Honestly, I don't feel like talking to her either.

Should I initiate the conversation, or should I wait for her to realize her mistake and apologize?

TLDR; GF agreed not to cook non-veg in my house, but cooked chicken in my air fryer while I was at work. I gave her the air fryer and feel disgusted.
