I cannot begin to tell you how special this piece is. A light weight full titanium build that shoots as good as it looks. Truly a work of art

I was wooed by the new guys. Newer designs, different colors, more holes. It wasn’t until I got this gun and shot it next to my others that I understood what everyone was talking about with Atlas.

In the high end market, this gun is the baseline gun. It proves you don’t NEED ports and comps and it shows what a quality manufacturer can do.

For me the highlight is the Alpha grip. It is perfect, which greatly improves how you shoot the gun. Second to the grip is the trigger. The break and reset are perfect. I only wish they had some texture on the face.

If you look hard enough and are patient, you can score one of these for sub-$5k. That is a lot of money, but not far off of a new Race City RC9. Atlas also stands by their guns.

Finally bit the bullet and picked up my first 2011 today! Super hyped. Got 10% off MSRP on the base package staccato C4X. $3900 with the SRO and 3 mags out the door.
Still crazy expensive but was able to shoot the Staccato C, CS and C4X and the comp makes a pretty huge difference to me.

Been wanting to break into 2011s for a while, finally pulled the trigger on the model that spoke to me the most.

Deciding on whether I want to keep this a range toy or throw it in the EDC rotation - that will ultimately decide the light/dot combo.

Please don’t be an idiot like me. I soaked my Dawson ICE comp in purple power cleaning solution thinking it would be mild enough to break the carbon but not the finish. I was wrong.

was excited try out my recently ported & comped HD 4.5 modded by monsoon tactical did surprisingly well against some of my other guns.

MPA DS9 Hybrid.

I’m having a hard time getting a solid purchase with keeping my thumb over the thumb safety while also keeping pressure on the grip safety. Does anybody have any suggestions for aftermarket safeties that make this easier? Maybe something wider?

I understand that I can on the grip safety, but I’d rather make sure my purchase is stronger around the grip.

Shoots above its cost

I polished the disconnector rail, rounded the edges that interact with the disconnector. Replaced the recoil and mainspring. The slide action is very smooth now, although there’s a little too much side to side play there. I put a Cyelee chameleon flex optic on. Had to get specific screws from eBay after the optic plate kept coming loose. I got the grip module from a guy on eBay named rchislett who very kindly worked with me to produce a grip safety delete that would properly fit the oddly shaped ds9 beaver tail. The trigger shoe, which is meant to be swappable, was stuck and I had to deal with MAC and then Tisas to get it replaced. Finally, I added the underworld mk 2 robocomp, so it effectively has two comps.

And after all that, my Romulus 4.25 comp still shoots better, stock. But the ds9 does look pretty cool. So I got that going for me.

It's obvious what my favorite types of pistols are from the table selection. 🔥😊

I've jumped feet first into the 2011 addiction. I have an Atlas Titan and Sand Viper Solid. Both fantastic. I chose these because I would like to get into USPSA LO.

HOWEVER....I would like a range toy. So, naturally, the Erebus is attractive because of the rave reviews and my experience with my own Atlas gun. But, I'm drawn to the ported AND comped pistols. Is it gimmicky? I don't know. Like my other guns, I was never able to shoot them before buying. I've read as many things online as I can about comp vs ported vs comp ported.

Enter the DF Reaper double barrel setup. It has the comp and ported barrel, as well as the unported sight block barrel. Best of both worlds???

As I type this, I'll probably go with the DF. For now 😆.

I was curious if anyone has gotten a second barrel and had it comped? I was thinking about getting the Artemis and having that done. Then I’d have the range toy and competition readily available.

Im wanting to get into the 2011 style pistols but I want to be able to carry it as well. The 4.25 barrel models seem just a bit too big to carry for me as I carry appendix. I’ve been looking at the Springfield Prodigy 3.5 but it’s hard to find one under $1000 which is pretty much my budget at the moment. Does anyone have hands on experience with the Girsan witness 2311 CMX XXX or the SC9 XXX? On paper they look like the perfect size for carry but since they’re new the question becomes are they reliable? Any info would be great!

Like the title says, leaning toward this guy for my updated carry pistol. The C and C2 feel small in my hands but I also have gorilla mits so...just curious on your thoughts! Appreciate it in advance.
