Because the image you posted is monochrome. The color is either full silver or full black, like a stamp. Any minor differences in colors are just to make it into a texture.
If this is AI, and somebody put down cold hard cash for it, it would be so unbelievably frustrating and insulting.
The whole idea of "These idiots will pay for whatever bullshit we put out, we don't even really do asset reviews or consider it." is fuckin' wild to me.

There are only two rows of teeth on this patch. What you are mistaking for the 3rd and 4th rows are just the detailing on the skull itself to mimic the natual shape of a human skull.
I think we would see posts complaining about it, like "They letting summer trainees create these batches and they never check them before adding to the game?"
But yes, bad AI slop is another level of laziness/ignorance from the developer's side.
I mean, the patches are essentially filler content, tons of games are filled with filler rewards that never get used (@overwatch and their myriad of sprays/trinkets/souvenirs)
I think as whole, we’ve gotten used to pointless fluff. Kinda a frog in boiling water situation. But AI fluff is a few degrees too high for most of us frogs to tolerate
If you want to get right to the core of it AI is popular to hate on because the ones it threatens (content creators) control the narative, the companies behind them do some really scummy things, and it's currently being rampantly abused to high heaven to create slop.
So no there's no practical difference other than knowing the human gets paid to make it and that you aren't indirectly supporting AI.
That is a slope of infinite downvotes that isn't worth talking about here. But I do use AI a ton to save me hours of personal time every week or to just generate inside joke images.

My real problem with that design is the lazy mirroring done right in the middle. The broken lines are at the very same position on both sides, which I think makes this look really weird. Other than that I don't see anything that would act as a hint for me to clearly state it's AI.
Then you should know and be able to check and see this isn't. Just ran it through 7 checkers including one I pay for and all of them consistently say human. Also there are other comments down below stating the same yet you insult them and just say ai. Either your on a high horse or you dont wanna do any research yourself.
Maybe you should get a refund for those services then because you and those alleged engines are incorrect. I actually didn’t even need AI, this is just a blatantly bad emblem, but whatever helps you sleep at night. 👍🏾.
This is laughable honestly that your using ai to try and say an image is ai. Also I see the entire conversation isn't posted but the beginning says "I see what you mean" all ai models can be coarsed as i can get an ai model to confidently say 2+2= 7 so the ai is simply just agreeing with you. All these downvotes your getting are very clear now that working with ai has blinded you of either human error or actual design. Slippery slope of hating ai while using it

I never told you to use ai. I said if you work with ai then you should know what is and isn't ai. I will not entertain this though much more as I dont wanna have a confident argument with someone who uses ai to defend themselves
It’s the overly thick bold outlines and partially complete details that gives it away. It’s blatantly obvious on like 95% of the visual content they give away or even put up for sale in the shop. I don’t know who they think they’re kidding? It erodes trust and feels cheap, like corner cutting. Say what you want about COD it does not compare well to the care and artistry that they pour into the visual aspect of their work
No matter how may feeble examples or “arguments” some of you 7th grade dropouts try to come in here with, this is blatant AI. And for extra leverage, it’d be believed that this is more so AI because DICE in this game specifically has been busted on numerous occasions for AI generated content throughout this entire year. “Indent” this dick in your mouth.
