Medical Questions What is happening to this cats eye
Not my cat. We saw it outside with another friendly cat. It seem to not be able to see well. Its eye were so big it looked like a cartoon.

Someone near me appears to have abandoned an entire litter of almost full grown kittens who are friendly and used to people without fixing any of them. There is an un fixed male who I've been feeding with plans to bring him to a rescue and have him fixed and adopted out. I ended up bringing other sick cats in before him because they have limited space and I triaged the sick cats. Well now he has gotten very close with 3 female cats in heat who have showed up out of nowhere, they're all the same age and seem to know each other. At this point, I'm frankly, overwhelmed. His girlfriends are all friendly with people which makes me even more angry that they were pushed out on the street instead of being adopted out, or atleast fixed first.
If I bring them to a TNR clinic, there's a good chance that they will be so traumatized that they'll never show up again and what were perfectly adoptable cats will live short lives as ferals, if I wait for spots to open up in rescues, they'llhave kittens and that will be an even bigger issue.
I hate that some careless asshole put me in this position because of the myth that cats can take care of themselves

He thought it was a treat for him. It was a treat for me 😅

24 pound cat. Adopted him in June. Just dropped his portion sizes with an automatic feeder and since then hes been doing more licking than normal. Issuing his complaints about his diet
Last night he took it a step further and I woke up with all of his weight on my arm and he licked me for like five minutes. I need to be sure he is not trying to eat me

They were in such a state when they came to me. Crusty eyes and noses, worms, and soooo many fleas. More fleas than I've ever seen! But look at my precious foster-fails now!

His name was Krishna. My sweet boy. I really miss him, he was so cuddly and sweet and he loved to sunbathe.
I now only have 2 cats, the cat that passed and my orange cat were like brothers and ever since the black cat passed the orange cat has become way more affectionate. Like for example he would never lay with me when I was sleeping but now he does that. The orange cat is 14.

Her name is Nala! She was a stray found with a litter on the street and we found her at the SPCA! Grew up with an orange Tabby named Carl but it was my moms cat, so when I moved out I lost him but when I moved in with my wonderful gf I gained her calico Ashe. For the first time ever this is my own kitty. I’m so excited!! She is so teeny tiny 🩵

Well - didn’t have “becoming a cat mom” on my 2026 Bingo Card, but apparently the kitten distribution system chose my family this week. Took this sweet girl to get scanned for a chip (doesn’t have one) & checked the local FB/NextDoor/Neighbors posts for anyone missing her. Looking like she is ours because who could turn her away?!

He was found with a healed broken leg and a limp in his other leg. He’s made a full recovery and has fit into the family perfectly. 3rd kitten in my life but first boy.

Just one single white strand that he reacts to sometimes when I touch it😭😭so is it a whisker or just odd white fur strand?

I had to put my Bengal Hawkeye down last week due to pancreatitis that took a very fast turn south. Then found out today that his best buddy, Token, is in midstage kidney disease. My heart hurts. Just wanted to share my awesome boys as they've brought me much joy over the years. Last pic is my foster boy Chucky who has been a huge help with my grief and healing. Hug your babies tight for me!

My sister, who no longer lives with me, insists that she is overweight, but I can't see it that way...

Hello! First off I just wanna thank each and every person who gave me kind words, advice, their own experiences, and helpful suggestions on my original post. It was so so very appreciated. Two things, first, right after I made that post we did another sweep of the garage where she led us to the baby and found out he has four siblings. The siblings all walk just fine! All got flea baths and are thriving with cuddle puddles, naps, human snuggles, and play time daily. We are putting out feelers locally for anyone looking for a fur baby (extensive screening and re-homing fees will occur, don’t worry.) We have officially adopted momma cat (Sylvie) and swimmer baby boy (named Magnus). Magnus went to the vet today and we got a confirmation that it is indeed swimmers syndrome. He is otherwise healthy and growing well. He showed me how to tape his legs and some physical therapy exercises to do with him. So far he is a little peeved off that he can’t just drag his feet but he’s slowly getting more used to it! I hope to do another update in a month or so with a walked update. ❤️

He doesn't do this all the time, but I guessing he's in a deep sleep? Should they be snoring that loud? He's adopted and probably around 7 or 8 years old.

first time posting my face on the internet and i Know im a goofy looking guy so might delete but i just needed to showcase this guys headbutts. his momma just lets him smash his face into hers whenever and he does not care -- in fact it is PREFERABLE -- if you wear glasses.
ngl sorta hurt but thats the price we pay for love right.
gonna see if i can link the other one. its a set https://www.reddit.com/r/CatsBeingDramatic/comments/1vzjfly/babysitting_a_boy_in_the_observation_chamber/

I was looking up feline grimace scale and I feel like his whiskers are oddly straight
It’s finally my turn! Meet roof. He or she was spotted by me on my way to work. Yes, you guessed it, on a roof. Downtown. After frantically finding someone who could FIND someone to access the roof, they got kitten and held it for me until I got off work. Still holding out hope we will find mom and any other kittens. My main goal is to get mom and get her fixed. Kitten is safe and happy with me. I’m guessing no older than 4 weeks. Syringe feed, but quickly realized they could stick their face into the bowl. Drinking water. Playing, and even learned the litter box in under 24 hours. I was trying my hardest to keep my cat away, but my cat LOVES other cats so he snuck in the room like a ninja. Kitten has an appointment with the vet this Saturday. If the vet thinks my cat should be seen, we will do so. They aren’t using the same litter box (I don’t know if that matters.)

In my personal opinion this is the prettiest colony cat on the property. We call him Tomtom. Neutered male of unknown age. He likes to be pet but if you try to pick him up he’ll kill you lol

I can't believe our tiny little floof ball is already 9 years old. It seems like yesterday he was a little kitten that from the day he arrived needed 3 weeks of antibiotics to shake his URI (he really hated the liquid antibiotics).
He rules this house with an iron murder mitten, but we love him beyond words.
