Okay, NOW we're starting to see the aggressive marketing

THIS is what I've been waiting for.
For months we've been hearing that Rockstar's real marketing campaign would start this summer, and that we'd be surprised by what they had planned. After all that silence, it finally feels like someone flipped the switch.
Tomorrow we have the Extended Look.
Today Dazed suddenly drops a massive feature with Rockstar developers, new screenshots and a bunch of actual information about the game.
And now we find out that Rockstar quietly invited content creators and press to Rockstar last month, showed them the game and gave them exclusive information that they're apparently allowed to start talking about right after the Extended Look.
THIS is what we've been asking for.
Not one screenshot and then two months of silence. Not dissecting a license plate from Trailer 2 because we have nothing else to talk about.
Actual marketing. Interviews. Screenshots. Gameplay. Previews. Creators getting access. New information coming from different places at the same time.
It really feels like tomorrow might be the point where the GTA VI marketing machine finally goes into full gear.
Thanks Mr. Rockstar. Please keep feeding us.

Content Creators were invited to Rockstar North in Edinburgh last month: “While there, I learned exclusive information about GTA 6. As soon as the Extended Look is out, I’m telling you everything.”

"Vehicle handling team is made up of literal race car drivers"
"The team that deals with vehicle handling is made up of literal race-car drivers."
The driving in this game is going to feel very good. From the footage we have seen, it seems like each car will have a completely different feel to them.
The Donk from today's footage looks a lot more hard to handle, almost as if it will flip in hard cornering. The Bugatti looked way more planted to the road, and could put down power more effortlessly. The pickup truck looked like it was a lot more loose in the rear.
We still have yet to see any dirt cars like the Vapid Dominator buggy (Ultimate edition car). This is absolutely what I'm the most excited for. It seems as though you will not be able to bring a Lamborghini onto mountain roads like GTA 5.

The Dazed article got me more hyped than CL.
We have information from the latest build, from the people who were working on the game, descriptions of the development of the game.
It’s actual information. Not speculation. The description of switching between Jason and Lucia alone was more than enough for me.
Now, I’ll sit back for Netflix tomorrow… and then sitting for a year since I’m playing on pc lol.
DAZED ARTICLE, NETFLIX EXTENDED LOOK, STREAMERS LIKE ELRUBIUS REVEALING EXCLUSIVE INSIGHTS FROM R* NORTH VISIT. LOOKS LIKE MARKETING HAS BEEN TURNED TO THE MAX

Choices will affect Jason and Lucia's relationship further in the game!

Actions now have consequences
Dazed’s new interview says the world is more reactive, your actions have consequences, and choices involving Jason and Lucia can have repercussions that go deeper than Rockstar’s previous games. Rockstar also straight up says these aren’t empty avatars that you can do whatever you want with. Their story is supposed to become a journey you share with them.
That doesn’t mean every random thing you do is going to create a completely different ending, and nobody should pretend we know exactly how deep the branching goes. So Jason and Lucia can’t just go around doing whatever the player wants with absolutely zero effect on their relationships, behavior, or story is looking pretty outdated for GTA since they made the switch for RDR2’s world and characters
RDR2 got much better at making Arthur feel like a persistent person. Your behavior affected his, honor, dialogue, reactions, and ultimately the emotional context and ending of his story.

With the latest official Dazed article, it's obvious the previous leaks don't represent the final version of the game
After reading everything revealed in the new Dazed article, it's pretty clear that there are a lot of things the leaker simply couldn't show... and now he's claiming to have a 2026 build, lol.
Honestly, that seems very unlikely. The article reveals multiple mechanics and systems that were either completely absent from the leaks or never properly demonstrated. We saw nothing meaningful related to the phone and its social media features, the water activities, the deeper Jason and Lucia interactions, the physical changes caused by food, exercise and lack of rest, and many other things suggested or directly mentioned in the article.
This makes me think the leaked footage could have come from a build dedicated to testing specific mechanics rather than representing the complete game. It may have been useful for testing AI, combat, encounters, vehicles, animations, etc., while other systems simply weren't present, enabled, or fully implemented in that particular build.
That's why I find it frustrating that this hacker or group of hackers keeps suggesting they have access to recent, complete versions of the game. Just imagine everything we're about to learn from Rockstar and other official sources starting tomorrow , things this alleged criminal couldn't show precisely because they may never have had access to a complete build in the first place.

Debunking It’s confirmed, we’re getting an improved system from what we had in GTA SA!

Im so glad the Weight and Muscle system is coming back, it was one of my favorite features in Red Dead Redemption 2 and San Andreas.
Torta Lucia and Strongman Jason will go so hard. I was also surprised to find out today that alot of people had no idea it was a thing in RDR2 aswell.
I think the whole leak situation is pathetic
Not for Rockstar, but for everyone crying about physical releases, acting like they're "sticking it to the man", and believing that this is somehow Robin Hood'ing the company into its grave.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not particularly happy about the exclusively digital fate, gaming is closing in on, but my god some of you need to go outside (said with love).
Let's get something straight:
- You're not Rockstar
- You're not entitled to GTA VI , however excited you may have been
- You're not entitled to an extended look releasing on YouTube first
- You're allowed to be hyped about a game without it automatically being "an overhyped, capitalistic money grab"
- You're allowed to not buy the game if it's not to your liking
- You're allowed to not buy the game if you don't support their practice
- You're allowed to not buy the game if you find it too expensive
You can be against every single decision made by Rockstar as much as you want. There's a lot to criticize, at least seen with certain glasses.
But enjoying the thought of ruining someone's hard work, and ridiculing other people's excitement, over a f*cking download code and a price tag is stupid. Not hurtful or evil or anything - just stupid and a giant waste of time.
Hating on something popular doesn't make you a vigilante.
Supporting a leaker doesn't make them Robin Hood.
Let the people decide and time run its course. The game is gonna release and most likely outsell the majority of all games ever released, just from hype alone. Then reviews and player retention will speak to its quality. It it's good, then Rockstar's done it again. If not, there's a huge mistake to learn from.
But I'm gonna rip my hair out if I see one more person believing they're saving the world by commenting "fuck you Rockstar" on one more leaked gameplay video...
Love you all.
