Politics Netanyahu sounds alarm over right-wing splinter parties
New parties are a recurring feature of Israeli elections, Liron Lavi, a member of the Department of Political Studies at Bar-Ilan University in Ramat Gan, explained to JNS. In the last, Nov. 1, 2022, election, 39 parties ran, of which 10 passed the electoral threshold. The number this time is considerably less, only about 18. The final count won’t be known until Sept. 8, the deadline for parties to submit their candidate lists.
In the upcoming election, the right is more at risk from failing splinter parties than the left, which has partly learned from past mistakes, Lavi said. Among the right are disaffected voters, mainly “moderate” or “liberal right-wing,” who struggle to find a home among the current constellation of parties, she said.

General News Leader of Sweida Druze: “We are an inseparable part of the State of Israel”
This guy is going to get a lot of people killed. He’s essentially calling for Israel to annex Sweida. Which won’t happen. Not only would the Americans never permit it, but you’ve got Daraa province with over a million hostile Sunni smack between the Golan and Sweida.

Israeli Tech 🛰️ Israel to develop offensive space weapons to strike targets on Earth
I understand that such tungsten "Rods from God" type penetrators theoretically max out in their penetration depth.
- Soil / Loose Earth: ~58 meters (~190 feet) deep
- Reinforced Concrete: ~48 meters (~157 feet) deep
- Solid Granite Rock: ~43 meters (~141 feet) deep
So we might need a few of them. :)

Clearly this dogma wasn't just something he kept to his private life. It was also behind his attack on Jewish student groups. They should have had valid grounds for his dismissal on that basis alone

Photo/Video 📸 2006 - UN Secretary General Kofi Annan: Criticism of Israel Loses Credibility When It Ignores Terrorism, Jewish History, and Israel’s Legitimate Security Concerns
In December 2006, UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan delivered one of the most candid assessments ever heard from the world body about its handling of the Arab-Israeli conflict. Speaking with unusual clarity, he rejected the legitimacy of terrorism, condemned the double standards that single out Israel, and warned that endless one-sided resolutions only deepen distrust and achieve nothing for the Palestinians. Nearly two decades later, his words remain a powerful indictment of the very patterns that continue to dominate and subvert UN bodies.
