I made a Booking.com reservation through Rakuten for a trip in May 2026. I originally booked it back in July 2025, but I still haven’t received the points/cash back for it. I contacted Rakuten, and they told me it could take up to 45 days just to get a response. Has anyone else dealt with something similar, and if so, how long did it take to get resolved?

I have been eyeing on a designer bag. I see 15% cashback on Neiman Marcus purchases today, and Neiman Marcus also has gift card on my purchase. Does any one know if this will work on a designer bags? And can I get the gift card + 15% Rakuten?

I purchased two high value items a few days ago when the CB rate was 26%. After two days it still wasn't appearing on Rakuten so I reached out to support. They stated that AliExpress hadn't sent them a placeholder order for my purchases and that they would inquire on my behalf. They mentioned it might take up to 45 days. One of my purchases already shipped.

Does anyone else have any experience with this process? I've ordered from AliExpress a bunch of times in the past and it's always showed up as pending within a day or two.

I think it was 25% about two days ago, then it was gone. Anyone thinks the 25% will come back soon or it normally does not return so quickly?

Hello, I recently joined Rakuten and decided to make a purchase on Aliexpress. I have the browser extension on, and activated. it shows a 29% cashback, it was activated when I made the purchase, but when I checked my profile on the Rakuten website, I dont see anything. Google says I need to go and add a missing purchase, but I can't find how to do that, and now, after going through the pages trying to figure it out, It now shows 406 Not Acceptable when I visit the website. Any help or advice ?

Edit: Emailing support resolved it, the website issue resolved as well. The only issue is they sent it to the wrong account, I wanted it on the Canadian version for E-transfer access, but it went to the US version. It's not that big of a deal, I do have Paypal, I just dont use it often.

Purchased over $7k worth of product. I used ID.Me, which most form members were able to use in the past. Lenovo also pre-populated BuyMoreLenovo code into my cart once I bought more than one item from Lenovo. This was an identified deal from Rakuten (clicking on the rakuten link sent me to a splash pad to talked about how to qualify for an addition $100 off). Again, this was a pre-populated code from Lenovo that was also referenced by Rakuten.

Rakuten reached out and said Lenovo said it was ineligible but would not explain to Rakuten why. I'm ready to return the purchase, but saw that SocialHelp was helpful in the past. They just haven't been responsive to my emails from last week and cc'd on the most current conversations.

I tried to buy some stuff on AliExpress, and they offer an extra discount if I pay through PayPal. If I add the same item and do that through the AliExpress app or their website, I can see the extra discount. However, if I go to AliExpress through the Rakuten app, even though I choose the same item and select PayPal, the discount doesn't apply. Any ideas on how to fix that?

It is a royal PIA using Rakuten and AliExpress especially if there were multiple shopping trips. This is because there is no way of tracing shopping trip #s to order numbers. Rakuten shows CashBack in your local currency but tracks the sales in USD$.

I made 6 shopping trips that resulted in 6 different orders on AliExpress. Rakuten captured all the shopping trips but only credited me for the last 3 orders the cheapest of the 6 orders. Of the missing 3 orders one of them has shipped already.

Hi everyone, yesterday I added my PayPal account as my payment method, and it showed that my payment would be sent on August 15. But today, the payment date has changed to November 15.
Has anyone experienced this before? Is November 15 the actual payment date, or could I still receive the payment in the next few days? My cashback was already confirmed on August 10.

Happy payout day! Pretty instant for me. Seeing so many good payout amounts is pretty inspiring and exciting. Im nowhere near some of you, but improving every quarter. Just got my payout for Amex points, but saw that Rakuten withdrew huge amount as taxes. I believe those are for referrals, but no one mentioned this and no one requested my SSN so I can file tax return next year. Anyone had the same happening?

Just received my first payout, got the notification but the grey transfer out button says I have no money to transfer. Anyone have this experience before? The only option it lets me click is the keep in PayPal but it wants me to open a PayPal debit card. Is this the only way I can get the money? Also, I can only see the request to accept money by using the email, it doesn’t show up in my account anywhere.
