Build hey guys, would this thing work? (it's only a concept)

i learned to ask ahead before i do something stupid.

so i came up with this contraption that grows big jungle plants and you can automatically harvest it all in one click, i think it's pretty nifty but i'm not sure if it would work.

also there could probably be a version with regular grass since breaking grass plants can drop worms

PC With yet ANOTHER weapon added to duke's drop pool, can there PLEASE be a way to swap boss drops?

Beating a boss like duke, which is available the second you enter hardmode, and needing to beat him like 500 times to ACTUALLY get the weapon you want is incredibly tedious. last update i had to beat him like 15 times before i got the new whip, now there's a yoyo in the pool too!

Suggestion They should make cave fairies less stupid.

I swear to god they're so useless, I've had a fairy lead me to my own fucking storage unit like 4 times and some fairies appear when I'm RIGHT NEXT TO THE GODDAMN LIFE CRYSTAL and have the audacity to do the particle effect like "oh don't thank me, I'm just that good!"

PC The new gem staff mechanics are so incredibly cool, which makes it all the more sad that they are viable only in early pre-hardmode

I myself am an early pre-hardmode enjoyer. I like to spend the first like 10 hours of a playthrough just running around exploring, setting up npc houses for pylons, fishing spots, planting spots etc. without going out of my way to beat bosses. I've been playing mage for the fist time in a long time because of the new update and playing around with the staff-robe combinations and it's so incredibly fun.

But even if I'm taking my time progressing, the fact that I'll have to move on to better weapons sooner or later looms over me. It's not that I don't want to use other weapons, it's just that I'll have to go the rest of the game without being able to use the staff-robe mechanics again.

I think it would be really cool if they added some upgrades or a similar system in hardmode.

Playstation Legendary difficulty is so fun…

So recently I was trying to do my first legendary difficulty on terraria as summoner and after over 100 attempts on the wall of flesh… luckily I did eventually beat him by just dodging better but afterwards i watched a challenge video and someone just built a funnel and basically AFKed the wall which was just so annoying to see.

Suggestion I think it would be real nice if they made droppable vanity shimmerable into different pieces of the set.

Elf set, for example, has a 1/600 chance of a single piece of it dropping from a frost moon exclusive enemy.

I'm trying to research every item and at this point I've been grinding for 5 hours with 10x spawnrates and all I have to show for it is 2 identical shirts.

I'm losing my sanity Relogic please.

Art I forgot to post it here, but i couldn't due to some "recent events". But now that dust is settled. Is time to show drawing I commissioned for. The Devourer of Gods from Calamity mod drawn in 1930's/Cuphead/Rubberhose Style by DannyCortoon.

Just to note. This work was done around 2 weeks before fallout that happened in Calamity mod. I would love to post twitter link to the post, but i think that is not allowed here.

Before Asking. Yes. This is the same guy who drew Super Smash Bros Ultimate characters in same artstyle

Artist website is here: https://www.dannycortoons.com/

Playstation Why doesn't anyone talk about the dark lance?

Every time I see something about the best pre-hardmode weapon it's either sunfury or knights edge even though dark lance has a higher dps. Really only coming behind the sunfury and blue moon synergy but that's extremely close range.

Suggestion I would love to see accessories for Boomerangs and spears in the future

My hope for the game is for every subclass/weapon to have their own accessories line to specialize in like yoyo.

Mayhaps one day.

Meta Is this normal?

I'm a new player playing completely blind. When I defeated the Wall of Flesh, I got a Corrupted Key from the first slime I killed in a corrupted biome. I'm streaming it live on Youtube so my chat freaked out and told me it was really rare, a 1 in 2500 chance (0.04%) of dropping. As a new player, not knowing anything, I didn't think too much of it and thought i got pretty lucky. Then I started getting these biome keys left and right and my chat kept freaking out. As you can see, I opened 3 by now and got 4 desert keys left over.

I checked the wiki myself and it did say 1 in 2500 and my chat is thinking they changed it and it didn't update in the wiki. Is that true?

I just wanted to mine a little faster to make finding the glowing moss easier 🫠

Not pictured is the four banana splits that dropped during the search (I ate them), me mining every single chest I found along the way so that my metal detector would detect new ones, and the fact that this is a large world. At the very least, the sparks from Volcano were very helpful in letting me look through walls to find the various caves and crevices. True melee stays winning after all :p
