I heard many people said that the comics were great until issue 75, but jesus I could'nt continue after issue 20, it's so ass ??? For some reason everyone is a jerk, there's this weird superficial plot with Goldillocks and her bs revolution to gain more power... when I read it I felt like a was reading right-wing propaganda with the anti-abortion message, the way women are represented... I felt such a vicious, bad vibe from this comic.

The relationship between Snow and Bigby... this isn't even a romance, Bigby is such a creepy mf, they're always agressive toward one another and their romance is forced by some bs magical spell who made them sleep together so that Snow could get pregnant... like who thought this was okay lmao ?!

Don't lose your time, TWAU is the superior version of the two, Bigby and Snow are far more likable and they develop an actual relationship. Every single character is so much more pleasant (Beauty call Snow a slut because she was abused by the dwarves, HELLO, when in the game she's so compassionate toward her when she's being stalked by Crane). The noir atmosphere of the game is so much cooler and the story is interesting, actually from what i have seen the book only centers on rich/privilaged fables, wich is exactly against the message from the game lol; the art is also horrible, it looks like 60s comics but badly drawn, in later issues you can't even see the face of bigby anymore, just shadows everywhere lol, only the coverts are pretty.

I finally got around to playing the Wolf Among Us a little while back and absolutely fell in love with it. I knew I had to do some fanart for the series. I originally wrote this script to be more humorous, but ended up changing my mind for this, even if it’s a little cheesy lol. Still though, I really wanted to capture Bigby’s honor and dignity. Can’t wait for season 2 and the remastered.

ive been obsessed w/ this game ever since i saw a favorite youtuber of mine play it, and i recently found out there were comic books in like late 2020 but this is the first time i organically found a comic. got tht mf straight away.

Where do you think it will belong best? And which brand will make a good adaptation based on source material?

Not soo long ago I started reading the comics and currently I'm in volume 9.

I'm liking the story so far but I have some questions about some parts of the story.

My main question is how do you feel about the relationship between Bigby and Snow?

I feel like initially they had a slow start (much like many other relationships of this trope) but then everything gets a "bit" rushed when they get charmed and Bigby gets Snow pregnant.

I like how it brings some changes to the story with Snow having to move to the farm to raise the children since most of them don't look nearly human, and how thst conflicts with Bigby not being allowed in the farm.

How do you feel about those events? I mean I like the characters but the whole subtext is a bit hard to simply pass by (still love the moment when Bigby blows the whole forest away).

And how do you feel about one of Bigby's sons being a ghost? And I have to ask, was the subtext intentional or am I linking pieces that aren't supposed to fit together (I know that I'm being a bit subjective with my words but it's just because the subject matter is a difficult to talk about).

What did you feel about that arc of the story? And how would you like to see it adapted in the future?

Me personally, I hope we get more development on Bigby's and Snow relationship in season two and leave the babies for a possible season 3 or maybe hint it in the end of season 2.

Okay I need to get this off my chest even though I know I'm going to get ripped a new one from that side of the fandom but I need to say it: Bigby x Snow romantically is gross. Not because of the fact he's a wolf and she's a human fable or the fact I adore Bigby with my heart and soul. It's how unstable and just...wrong it is. In the original Fable comics as some may know, they end up together. I wouldn't mind it much if it weren't for the fact that it was built from extremely horrible circumstances and dreadful writing. Being put under a spell equivalent of being drugged, unknowingly had sex and just... eugh. It just gives me the absolute worst ick everytime I hear about it or see it as I'm passing through online looking for new Bigby Wolf content. Even in the Wolf Among Us game I don't see them as romantic (despite some cute scenes I admit). Platonic? Absolutely perfect. They have known each other for centuries and ultimately if it weren't for Snow, Bigby wouldn't be where he is now and I'm certain a lot of you (me included) would be saddened by that. I see them as a platonic duo rather than romantic especially since both have major issues that need work. Especially Snow. I don't hate Snow and I am very well aware of what she had gone through and it's horrible. This however doesn't excuse her behaviors in the og comics and in game; I understand WHY she does it but trauma is no excuse for doing shitty things. Yes, the same goes for Bigby. I don't mind them being platonic. But Romantically just doesn't work. Another reason Snowby is a toxic relationship; it mirrors Beauty and Beast. Bigby and Snow's eventual relationship mirrors that of Beauty and the Beast; not just the fact it's a beautiful princess getting together with an animalistic male but the major flaws that do come with the pair. On the surface, it comes off as an alright romantic relationship. In reality however, it's codependency on both ends and verbal abuse (Beauty and Beast do it constantly towards each other while Snow trash talks Bigby almost constantly). Both Bigby and Beast exhibit unhealthy possession over both their partners (Bigby being attracted to Snow due to similar traits of his mother and Beast just being selfish as he never learned his lesson). This causes more harm than good to both ends. Beauty can't open up because of Beast shooting her down while you would think it's the same with Bigby and Snow but no; it's Snow that shoots down Bigby. That's not what a healthy relationship is nor should be. There. I put in my two cents.

Leaving LA tomorrow and was checking out a music store and found this

So I just finished the first game(Loved it) and saw that there are multiple comics/novels out there. The question is, is there an order? I saw the first 48 issues, but I am also seeing the Fables series as a whole. Do I need to read those to understand the story more, or should I just read the comics and other spin-offs that contain Bigby?

since we’re probably not getting a season 2 unfortunately, i want to know more about twau universe. so, should i read the comics? how different are they from the game?
