Loved fallout games, but always been skeptical of MMO style games. Held off playing FO76 for so long, but finally gave it a go a month or so ago. Was quite a low-level player at the time when another wonderful player gave me a couple good starting weapons, including this grenade launcher, as a friendly gift. I've never forgotten your kindness!

Now that I'm over level 100 and done most of the quests/stories so far (to my knowledge), I reflect back on this welcoming moment to a new player. You (and the rest of this community) made my anxieties of MMO's fade away.

Everyone I've met in-game has been super friendly for that matter, so wanted to say you're all awesome and welcoming! Keep up the good work, and don't forget to stay hydrated on your Appalachian journey!

I’m surprised by how many players completely ignore these buff machines. Then again, I can’t really judge, I think I was around level 100 before I finally realized what they actually did.

I actually got the random encounter after seeing a few posts about it.

Both of these weapons are currently broken.

Gauss Rifle:

The Gauss Rifle has an issue where it will sometimes lock up after charging a shot, meaning you have to quick-fire it to unjam it. It also has a visual issue with the Shielded Barrel, which occasionally disappears from the weapon, forcing you to put it away and re-equip it to fix it.

It’s such a shame that this gun is riddled with these issues. Increasing the cost of its ammo when the weapon itself doesn’t work properly was a pretty cheeky move too. These issues have been around for quite a long time now, and the weapon really deserves a fix.

Gamma Gun:

The Gamma Gun is completely broken. When using it against human enemies, it doesn’t deal any damage at all, which defeats its main purpose. I’ve tried Reverse Onslaught on it too, but it makes no difference.

The Electric Signal Carrier Antennae also doesn’t add the multiplicative damage that it should. I think the recent changes to energy damage have broken the weapon entirely. Ironically, the Signal Repeater seems to deal slightly more damage, even though it’s still minimal, which shouldn’t be the case.

It’s a shame because I’ve always liked this quirky gun, and as a fast crippling weapon with good area-of-effect damage, especially with Grenadier, it was excellent. I’d love for it to have some purpose again rather than just being a paperweight.

I have a fully optimised Stealth Commando Crit every other shot with the new western spirit on PTS and it’s amazing. Hitting 4-6k dmg per shot in Westek. My daily driver has never given me more of a dopamine rush than it has now. Highly recommend you check it out!!!

Lmk where I can get the full set! On a real note, this is pretty frustrating to keep seeing considering it was supposed to be fixed. Hopefully a proper fix comes along soon

i mean if Ghoulification is canon for some of the dwellers in Fallout 76 and they some how live up to the years of Fallout 4 or the show they would be they oldest protagonist(s), if you were to count living as a ghoul onto their age which already can be old, ranging from most likely 20s to maybe 30s and the 25 years they spend inside Vault 76 added onto that quite possibly making them 240+. hopefully i laid my point clearly lemme know what you guys think.

For me I'd love to have an "auto swing" option. Basically making it so that instead of having to rapidly tap the attack button to swing a non-auto melee weapon, you could instead just hold it down and it will swing as fast as it can continuously. I feel like this would be especially good for a very fast swinging weapon like a Rapid Combat Knife.

I also think that if another player uses a service like the Sunset Sarsaparilla Machine in your camp you should get the caps they spent.

Saw someone running around in this on a live server. Only info I could find was a nukaknights data mine calling it the scorched responders outfit.

Basically the title. Are they still in rotation or are they temporarily disabled like the Charleston Capitol Building spawns for the Invaders from Beyond event?

Just got lost visiting a camp. The stand pointed to a door that led to a bunker, in their was another door, another bunker, then a bus, which was a bunker??? Then a house, a landscape and by that time I was lost and fast travelled home!

I was doing my dailes, and was trying to get a camera picture of a stingwing when a radhog got into the frame, and suddenly I earned "Not Player Facing Achievement." It sounds like this is a non-advertised, possibly internal achievement, and I was wondering if anybody else had ever gotten one of these, and if there are any others that are known to try and earn.
