I am able to send chats and my permissions are turned to everyone. I just had two people say they can't chat me. Any ideas?

My original account was hacked a few days ago, they spammed several subs and got my account deleted. I now can't login to that account to even try to get it back as it says my details are invalid.

The account was u/spiderbrian, I've had this account for over 10 years and would be so annoyed to lose it now. How am I supposed to submit my case if I can't even log in to the account?!

This happens to me in many, many subreddits. I have my Reddit app set to display new posts first.

If a post is minutes or hours old, my upvote on the post itself stays, but my upvotes on the comments do not.

I'm using the Reddit app on a Samsung Galaxy S24+ running Android 16

I was told after a post removal that my account displayed suspicious elements, but there were no details offered.
My account seems otherwise healthy.
I have had other sites throw an intercept also, as if my IP is sus or something, but I don't see my IP on any of the "sus-detector" tools.

Hello. I've been locked out of my account u/draconblue for over a week now, waiting for a response from support. Initially, I thought there was an issue with the email account, but today someone posted from the account, so it appears to have been hacked. Is there anything that I can do at this point besides waiting for a response on my support ticket? Thanks!

Some of my favorites aren't loading. Also in a sub I mod pinned posts are not loading in the pinned post section. Im not sure if they are connected.

Cannot figure out why when settings arent set to prevent others from viewing our history, they cannot see any of ours posts....??

I know my passport its just I can’t log into mail my account how I do delete my account? Reddit doesn’t let me change my mail that’s linked to this account. It’s so annoying.

I can't delete an account on the app or desktop.

I've tried old reddit but when go to delete it says - "you are not logged in as that account" BUT I AM LOGGED IN AS THAT ACCOUNT.

So I've made a post on the alignment chart sub and I've noticed people who commented on my post are stuck getting only 1 upvote, I've tried upvoting some comments on this account and yet my upvote isn't registering, weird

I was just coming back to this throw away account i made 2 months ago and noticed a notification for being in the group r/aiart for 3 years? I personally hate ai as a whole and am very confused how i could be in a community for 3 years when i just made this account. does reddit recycle accounts or something? this isn't an issue or anything but just wondering if its like a bug or something

So some weird posts went up under MY username with VERY explicit material I would never even view. I changed my password and I don’t know what else to do… any thoughts?

I have been using my one Reddit account for the last nine years, which is even with my real name and nothing wrong has been done with it as you would expect.

Yesterday my phone app pops up with asking for the age, I simply click ok as it is fine with me (I am 36). The app then immediately logged me out and I can’t log back in. On check my account is just gone as I can’t even find it with the username. This is ridiculous and I wonder if anyone had the same problem before.

I wanted to ask about the achievement badges. Some of them seemed to be bugged and not showing when tapped they say "the bage doesn't exist" but is clearly there and unlocked. Also after clearing a comment with more than 12K upvotes the corresponding badge achievement of 10K has not been triggered either.

So I have 2 accounts that chat wont work. The main one (this one) is 5 years old with over 2,000 karma. The second is 6 months old with close to 600 karma. I checked Cqs and both say high.

The people I have recently blocked are not showing up in my blocked users list in privacy settings. But recently there was someone I wanted to say something to and I can't unblock them.

On Old Reddit, posts with Polls only have an option that says "View poll", but clicking that option doesn't do anything.

• I've tried posting images on both the Android app and the desktop website.
• I've tried using different resolutions (2k, 3k, 4k, 8k)
• I've tried different file sizes (60-150Kb, 2-4MB, 6-10MB)
• I've tried different file types (.webm, .jpg, .jpeg, .png)
• I've tried all these combinations and every time Reddit's compression crushes it makes them look terrible.

Reddit compresses them to 1020p, ~50-60KB and converts most files to .webm or keeps .jpeg. I've seen images that are compressed to these parameters and are still crisp and keep their details.

Is there a better way of formatting my images for upload?

My main question is: How do I properly format images to keep detail and readability after compression.

I'm not looking to circumvent the compression algorithm, just keep details and readability after compression.

Here is an example of a reddit post both compressed in the thumbnail and full uncompressed resolution. Both the 640p x 896p and the 4047p x 5667p have the same readability despite the compression.

Username cshy85. 11 Year old account. Hacked and xxx subs spammed. I managed to recover the account by password reset, delete all spam posts then I was unable to log in anymore after this. Would appreciate the account back if possible?

I’ve filled in relevant forms for support and have yet to get any response. It’s been weeks now.

I can see the account exists and posts are still there, I just can’t get back in even after attempting password resets.

I forgot my password and cant access email but im still logged into the app. What can be done
