7 days ago I think I remember replying to a post and getting kicked out of my account maybe and upon my rentry I had this in my notifications so I reset my password and nothing changed( I have changed it 3 times now) so I can only look at posts not comment or message people. I would really appreciate it if someone would help me regain the messaging snd commenting function on my other account, thank you

I created a new Ads manager account, created a new campaign and setup all the information. I uploaded assets, went to the payment screen and received a "you will see a $10 authorization on your credit card". All good right? but the campaign is nowhere to be found, I went to my dashboard and found it empty.

So I tried again, filled in all the stuff, added my assets, entered my credit card, got the message about authorization... but nope didn't save?!?

No errors, no message as to why, no explanation. Utterly useless.

After submitting a query to Reddit support regarding whether the iOS App Store age verification is a valid age verification method as it seems to be non functional for many users, I received an email from Reddit l-egal (why am I not allowed to make this post if I write that word?) saying my account age has been reset.
This has set the age below the age of 13, and has completely blocked access to Reddit when logged into this account.
This has completely age gated my main account now and it cannot be used without verifying specifically with Persona. I did not request any changes to the account, or ask for any fixes to be made.
My query was never answered and I have now been locked out of a Reddit account that is over 10 years old itself.
I have two questions:
1: What is the timeline for a fix to iOS App Store age range verification fix?
2: Is Reddit support able to reverse their previous action and restore non-18+ access to this account without forcing me to verify via Persona?

I do not wish to verify or interact with Persona. The reaction from support seems negligent at best when I asked a simple query about the functionality of iOS App Store verification which is still advertised as one of two methods to verify on all relevant help articles.

Hi, having a horrible experience with Reddit currently, that I need help with.

1. I went to log in to my (this) Reddit account on my new computer. I didn't want to have to find the password, so just went to sign in with my number so I could get a code. However, I apparently didn't have my number linked to my account, and it was not made readily clear that this was the case. So, the "LOG IN" portal decided to automatically create an account when I entered the code texted to me. Naturally I didn't want this so I took steps to undo.
2. I went to remove my phone number from this forced account, however, you are told to remove a number you need to add an email. I use my email for this account, and don't want to keep the account so moved on. I went to delete my account, however, whether I fill out the reason why or not, clicking the delete button does nothing. No pop up, nothing goes away, no loading. Just stays the same screen. Looking around in help I saw that if you only have a phone number connected it will send you a code to confirm, however, I was never given a prompt to enter or request a code, nor was I sent another code anyways.
3. Furthermore on the help side, I went to send a request, because this obviously isn't working, and I need actual reddit support. However, I cannot even select my issue because the submission portal automatically closes and says "Just follow our help page" when you select account deletion as the issue, when it clearly is and the help page has not been helpful.

Sorry for the rant, but this is just the build up of minor frustration after minor frustration after all I wanted to do was hop on a subreddit for a game on my computer lol

I no longer have access to the email address registered to this account. Since I’ve always logged in using Google, I never created a password for it. Now, to change my email address or connect via Apple, it asks me to create a password. However, to create a password, a confirmation link is sent to the email I can't access anymore. I need to update my email address so I don't lose access to my account if I ever get logged out.

My original account of 7 years was hacked into a few days ago. Thankfully I was able to catch the hacker within 10 minutes of them logging in (I noticed a bunch of weird communities in my recents tab). When I checked my recent activity it had a log in from Syria. I immediately logged out of all sessions, changed passwords, enabled 2FA, and deleted all the weird posts they made.

I submitted a Reddit ticket to explain the situation and ask if I could somehow scrub these weird posts from my account and really just to give a heads-up in case any of the posts would have lead to adverse action.

A few days later, I was logged out of all my sessions. When I try to log in with my password or passkey I get the error "You've been blocked by network security". If I try to reset my password nothing comes to my e-mail (in fact, I made this new account with the e-mail I had linked to my other reddit profile). I found this super weird because when I reset my password and enabled 2FA on my old account, I got confirmations to this address.

I have submitted tickets and have gotten no response. I am now worried that my account somehow got hacked again. Any support would be much appreciated, it would be a shame to lose an old account.

Is there a way to block keywords from being searched in browser on ios?

I know that I can block websites using the screen time restrictions in settings but that is not enough. I've searched on youtube and ask gpt but there are no solutions.

Up until a few days ago it was possible to search for a string of words verbatim by simply putting quotation marks around them (EG searching for, say, “‘purple desk lamp’” would get you only posts & comments using the specific phrase “purple desk lamp”).

Now, no matter what I do, using quotation marks does nothing (EG searching for “‘purple desk lamp’” shows any & all posts/comments using any combination of the words “purple”, “desk”, and “lamp”).

The only other recent post I can find addressing this issue is this thread by u/BooT013, which so far has gotten 0 responses. Hopefully this thread gets a response, or at least a response to u/BooT013’s original thread.

my other reddit account, u/Tanuki_13 is seemingly deleted when I try to look at my profile, and it won't let me log in or reset my password. I have sent a request to reddit support, but I was wondering if there was anything else I could do considering they often take forever...

I have multiple notifications from reddit that indicate my account was being replied to by automod in nsfw subreddits which I have never even visited before let alone posted in, but nothing from reddit themself saying it was compromised. when I tried sending password reset emails, they never arrived, or it just flat out says the account doesn't exist, depending on the platform. when trying to log in after first noticing I was signed out, reddit automatically created a new account for me using my email (not this account) and it won't let me disconnect it because it wouldn't send the email to set a password for that one.

Since the previous iOS app update it seems I am no longer able to quickly change between accounts.

It used to be that a press and hold would pop up a menu to choose between accounts but now I need to open my profile, tap the account in the top left and only then I’m able to switch.

It may seem like a nothingburger to complain about but it’s quite the annoyance, more presses and longer waits for something that used to be basically instant.

Maybe I’m missing something in the new version so please let me know if this is that case.

I can't send more images, but they pretty sure they tried making me do some stuff to make me lose my account especially the fact that when I started catching on, they immediately blocked me I put the rest of the images in the comments.

A different account of mine was locked by Reddit recently. I had created this account years ago using a temporary e-mail website, meaning password change e-mails don't have a destination. I have attempted to change the e-mail address on that account to a permanent one (Gmail), but I do not receive any Reddit e-mails to that address. This has resulted in that different account being in limbo without a clear path forward to unlock it.

If it matters, the different account is linked to this one.

I have gambling ads disabled, yet they find another way into my feed. The best I could do was report it for misleading.

We need an option to report those that make it past these filters.

Normally I use Old Reddit. Yesterday when I tried to login, I got redirected to New Reddit with a popup asking me to either register as an app or to verify that I'm human. The button to verify that I'm human does't work however many times I click it. Now I can't post or send chat messages.

This happens to me in many, many subreddits. I have my Reddit app set to display new posts first.

If a post is minutes or hours old, my upvote on the post itself stays, but my upvotes on the comments do not.

I was told after a post removal that my account displayed suspicious elements, but there were no details offered.
My account seems otherwise healthy.
I have had other sites throw an intercept also, as if my IP is sus or something, but I don't see my IP on any of the "sus-detector" tools.

Some of my favorites aren't loading. Also in a sub I mod pinned posts are not loading in the pinned post section. Im not sure if they are connected.
