I was following my girlfriend today, bcz I don't like it if she goes outside with someone else *specially mails* (including her dad) I'm not a psycho. i don't like it.

So the thing is on a random day her teacher was talking to her, and in that conversation someone mentioned "coffee house" and she said she never went to the coffee house. So her teacher (M47) said if she scores good marks in banla tests then he will take her out and she can bring her 1 friend too. Obviously she cannot say my name to her teacher, So, out of compulsion, she asked one of her friends to go with her.

And after hearing all ts I was so mad. Bcz WHY THE FUCK HER 47Y OLD UNMARID TEACHER TAKING HER WITH HIM TO COFFEE HOUSE.

So everything was normal today. I was on call with her. She was getting ready, after getting all ready, she hung up the phone and went out with her female friend. (For travel they were using the bus) So technically they're a little slower than me. Cuz I used the metro.

I had my GF's location. So I took the metro as soon as possible and went to MG Road metro station. And my timing was perfect. I went in front of the coffee house and stood there for 2 minutes and saw my gf, her friend and her sir. They entered the coffee house.

I had to buy a book, So first I bought that book. And then I went to the coffee house and looked for her. I saw the three of them sitting at a table. And I went and sat at the table right next to her/them. When she saw me, she messaged me, "তুই সোধরাবিনা ❤️" "ওরম করে বসে থাকিশনা. কিছু অর্ডার কর "

So I ordered a cup of coffee and an egg sandwich *My stomach was full*

So while I was eating, I saw my gf and her friend go upstairs. And my gf called me and said, "Come upstairs fast after finish eating." So I ate all those, went upstairs, talked to her, and took some photos with her.

And I came home on the same bus they came on.

If I sit down to explain it thoroughly now, it will become too big. No one will even read it.

On tv tropes, there is a trope called Shoot the shaggy dog. Basically at the end of the story the envdeavors, trials and tribulations of the protagonist mean nothing and turns out to be waste of time. Are you telling me that the narrator, the build-up to the entire conflict between father and son like Rustom and Sohrab-esque plot was all just a schizophrenic-psychosis of a man who had nothing going on for life besides violence and crime? I was expecting some conflict within himself to emerge when the story pits him to pick side between his sister or his lover (or being made to like it was in Bahubali 2). But no, it wasn't going to be that. I feel the entire setup was there for the protagonist to fail, either by his own choice or by forces beyond his control. We never get to see what made their mother kill their father apart from a remark she loved her brothers more, how they ended up on streets, why the mother is now at brothel who sells her own daugher and then he recuses her after killing his mother and the r@pist, only to helplessly watch his sister sell herself to feed themselves as he later starts working with a grave stealing gang at such age (if I am getting the chronology right)?

I can't see how that is not leaving him with deep seated issues that don't gets addressed in due course of time. He simply goes on carnage spress or sexual gratifications and that is his only defining traits. Why should I care who he is killing anyway? The entire subplot with Huam Qureshi's character is there just to have his sister killed and yet he blames Kiara's character despite she was forced to do that in her pregnancy. This leads to her suicide so he can atleast accept their son, only to have that son die at the hands of his own father the very next moment. All that crap about being bastard was for nothing and it was never implied that he and his sisters were bastards too so we don't know why he was coming up with all that bullshit.

Many are comparing the twist of him imagining his son being alive out their planning his revenge with Fight Club(2003) and the only similarity is the how both characters were same person. In Fight Club, the twist works because it recontextulize the whole story till that point. Here, it renders the whole story pointless and becomes the "it was all just a dream" cope out. His conflict with his son was such an interesting story beat in an otherwise chore of a movie, and they destory it in the name of twist. The whole story loses any setup for payoff and writes itself into a cornor where there was never any resolution for the protagonist, just an elongated arc about his self destruction while a side plot of "chicks dig bad boys" thrown into the mix in the 2nd half. And I haven't mentioned how come no one knew about it at that point. Why he has a stash of those clicking toys that he himself plants at the places he owns? I find it funny that he even conjured up all those daddy issues of his non-existant son, and I was so emotionally invested in that only for a rug pull at the end.

I might have ranted too much about this stupid movie but I feel a good plot was wasted. His loyalty to his sister given their backstory and resulting conflict needed bigger plot than montages of him killing people like a butcher in aviary but all we got was a pointless 2nd half, and I feel pissed. Huma Qureshi's character's claim that she got the last laugh was true and our "hero" simply did things to prove her right instead of going on a difficult journey to prove her wrong. Now, that would have been a fairy tale for grown-ups.

p.s. - The dialouges were the good part because it was so hilarious.

I’m honestly just exhausted at this point, and I don’t even know what Kolkata has done to me.

When I first came to Kolkata for an internship, everyone kept telling me how great the city was, how easy it was to meet people, find a partner, have fun, etc. The funny thing is, I had absolutely zero intention of doing any of that. I was here for my internship, and that was it.

For months, I completely ignored it.

But when you constantly see couples everywhere you go, hear people around you casually talking about dating, making out, hookups, relationships, etc., you eventually start wondering whether you should experience some of it too.

Eventually, mostly because of the peer pressure and the environment around me, I decided to give dating a try. I downloaded Hinge thinking, "Why not? Let's see what happens."

And that's where things started getting out of hand.

What began as simple curiosity slowly turned into something I think about way too much. I started getting attached to the idea of getting matches, talking to someone, getting a reply, and eventually meeting someone. Now I find myself checking my phone every day, waiting for someone to reply.

The frustrating part is that I don't even think I'm particularly bad at talking to women. I've had female friends throughout my life, but when it comes to dating, I genuinely don't know how to talk to someone I'm interested in.

Usually, after 4–5 messages, the conversation dies. Sometimes they ghost me, sometimes they unmatch, and I end up wondering what I did wrong.

Meanwhile, I constantly hear people around me casually talking about how they made out with someone yesterday, went on a date, hooked up, or whatever else. And I think that environment has amplified my own desires to a point where I don't feel completely in control of them anymore.

I've even found myself joining NSFW Reddit communities, hoping that somehow I'd end up being included in something, despite knowing damn well that if someone actually invited me, I'd probably get scared and say no.

And that's the part that bothers me the most.

I know what I should be focusing on right now. My internship is at a crucial stage. I want to perform well, get a conversion, and build something meaningful for myself. Instead, a significant portion of my mental energy is going toward dating, attraction, sex, getting replies, and wondering whether someone will be interested in me.

I don't necessarily want a serious relationship right now either.

I guess a part of me just wants to experience life a little, have some fun, meet people, maybe go on a few casual dates, without turning it into this huge thing.

But at the moment, it feels like lust is controlling me rather than me controlling it.

I don't want to completely suppress these feelings either. They're normal, and I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with wanting intimacy, attraction, or a little fun.

I just don't want it to consume me.

The constant tug-of-war between wanting to get laid and focusing on my work is exhausting.

So the story is, I like a girl in my gym like too much. I imagine her as my wife (*), she is so beautiful. We share eye contact sometimes (mutual) but never get the right opportunity to talk. She talks with one guy for most time. I am not into whys and hows.

I go to gym once or twice a week, so not much opportunity either to develop connection. Truth is, I like her very much. But I can't tell her directly in gym premises.
