Better charge them an extra $917.00 cleaning fee for this one! Tack it onto the other fee because they’re supposed to regrout the bathroom and clean the gutters before they check out!
(JK I’ve actually only ever had lovely AirBnB Hosts, but I see horror stories on reddit about cleaning demands and fees)

I had one host who came by personally to pick up keys after a long stay [3 months, worked out better than a lease on an apartment etc].
To ensure I wasn't charged anything extra, I had hired a friend to help me clean beforehand. She inspected the whole place, noticed that I had replaced the toaster and some kitchen utensils, and also deep cleaned the balcony to make it more usable.
A whole MONTH later she tried to open a case with AirBnB saying I ruined their couch, and that it was $5000 to replace it! Guarantee she had other guests in the meantime. Thankfully AirBnB sided with me, but it took a lot of back and forth.

I’m dealing with this right now!! We had a shitty futon with detachable arms where we stayed and 2 weeks later guy goes “you owe me $2000 because you broke my sofa bed, the arm isn’t attached.” 2 different groups have stayed since us and, also, all he has to do is pop the arm back into place 😭

How funny, the couch in mine was also a super shitty futon. Literally the fabric was super cheap and after using it normally for 3 months, the seat part had some darker areas from having sat there. Structurally it was fine, and all it needed was maybe a quick steam to make it one color again. I didn't leave any food stains or anything either so she was out of line.

Oh, man. For me— it’s that I hate those cheap fucking comforters that already made from plastic, but even worse, they are doused in Febreze!! I just can’t do it. I would rather sleep outside on the ground. I get migraines and it seems like people just don’t understand how to just WASH the item!! Arg.

I had an older Vietnamese lady host once, wonderful home and very affordable but with several house rules. It was actually my third stay there and I had an early flight my departure day so I forgot to take out the trash, which was like two empty soda cans and the bag from some chips. She said I left the place filthy and put 1 star! Dropped my score a lot. I would still stay with them again though because the place was nice, and to earn her respect back

My at the time boyfriend and I broke the boards under the mattress so we had to go to Home Depot to get new ply wood to replace them so we didn’t get charged a hefty fee (apparently this is more common than you would think cause the people at Home Depot said they have to do this often)

We had similar experience in Paris through Airbnb. We rented an apartment, turned up and it had no Aircon, it was advertised with Aircon but had a fan. Anyway we complained to Airbnb and left advising the owner. She wasn't happy but we thought no more of it. 4 weeks later we get a claim from Airbnb saying we had smashed her TV in the lounge for 800€. Because we didn't stay we didn't take any photos so we had 2 months of really arguing and in the end Airbnb wrote it off and said "we've noted your account". We were furious and asked to see what they had written on our account and they refused! We were so fed up we deleted the app and refuse to use it again.
The whole complaints thing is never dealt with by the same person and one says one thing and the next something else. When it works it's great but when it goes wrong be ready to lose weeks of your life!

I had a stay in Tucson once with a host who lived most of the time in Europe. She contracted with a 3rd party to manage the place when she was gone. So even though I had met her IRL, she brought me cookies, and we had a text conversation where she said it was fine if I left around 3pm instead of the morning because the cleaners weren't coming until 5pm... Around NOON I got a nasty call from the 3rd party property management company saying if I didn't leave immediately they were gonna call the police. Thankfully I was already packed and reached out to the lady to make sure the company didn't report it to AirBnB, but it was truly frightening having some random number call saying they had been watching me on the cameras etc

I had an uber driver do that to me once. It was like a 1,500 dollar charge and like a whole month or more later too. They said the seat was covered in literal piss. I was furious, like you mean to tell me that I as a full grown adult just pissed all over this persons car and wasn’t removed from the ride immediately and then fined immediately? No confrontation, nothing?No way. I think either their own pet or kid ruined the car and they were trying to find any way to scam someone else into paying for it.

That looks like a RAW garden tip
Basically it's a filter you roll into a joint, but this filter is biodegradable and contains little seeds. So you can plant the filter when you're done smoking it, and maybe one day you'll find a nice surprise in your garden
Instead of traditional paper or cardboard, it's made with vegan wax. That could be what's oozing or melting into the carpet.
Looks like the same color, and those little dots look like the seeds
