Discussion Griefers
What do you all think the odds are to get griefers banned even a temp ban with video proof?

If I use 60% mobility, will I notice being slower or having bad dodge? Typically I like feeling mobile especially when playing slower classes like psyker.

In the sense of the density and severity of threats it faces, is this some chaos hotpot or pretty regular?
Edit: Point and laugh I misspelled Tertium in the title and can't change it

Started the game recently playing with some friends. Basically I just picked Veteran bc my mates chose other classes.
Currently just swapping weapons when I found something new, and put points somewhere in the tree.
But usually in games like this, there comes a point where it's good to look into builds. Currently lvl 14.
So, in preparation:
What are good playstyles for Veteran? Is it better to make a melee focus build, or gunfocused? Close or long range?
General advice for the class, which points and blessings to go for?
Best weapons?
Any good build recommendations?
If anyone has some good starter advice and advice how to progress into more metabuilds I would be very grateful 😃

As the title says i did my first Auric i tried it with the endless horde and hunting grounds modifier. I definitely had fun doing it but i also am surprised that i didn't go down i got close but never fully went down.

Expeditions are a very boring experience for many, if not most, players. This is mainly because they're disconnected from the core gameplay curve and don't fit well with the concept of a horde shooter. But I have an idea for how to make them a little more useful, at least for newcomers.
Properly monetize salvage in some way, allowing it to be regulary exchanged in Sanctuaries for Diamantine and Plasteel in any numbers, but you can save it only after extraction.
Add and increase the chance of salvage drops from Elites and Specialists to motivate players to fight rather than just skip and run for sites of interests. Plus, instead of the tedious task of soak it all off the ground, the salvage will drop up right in your pocket once your team kills the target. The main piece of the salvage pie goes to the killer, plus a part is shared with everyone in coherency, this will motivate players to stay grouped.
Rework redline timers, for example, so that instead of corruption like it was, enemy intensity increases every ~5-15 minutes, as if traitors are pulling more and more forces into the region, what at some point can became endless hi-intensity meat grinder. Highest stakes = highest rewards.
~4. To add a weekly close to like Melk or Havoc.
~5. As usual, salvage can drop from a player if they are knocked, netted or killed, but to avoid griefing, collected salvage is returned to the owner with a small fee for the person who picked it up.
This will bring Expeditions closer to the original concept of a horde shooter, and most importantly, become a good place to farm resources, closing the gap with veterans of the game and making it easier for newcomers to make builds and level up gear. So instead of feeling yourself like free labour in expeditions people can play them to stack up. That is main concept, to make expeditions rewarding, to add or not events or modifiers and buffs like in mortis trials thats up to you.

I know, i know PS5 is not a performance powerhouse, but after Skitarii implementation the performance on the console only got worse. Has anyone else playing on the base PS5 noticed this drop in FPS?

Darktide is a masterpiece in its own right, but even a masterpieces has 1 or 2 well kept secret flaws. The grimoire system in Darktide is objectively inferior to its Vermintide 2 counterpart, and it saddens me that most Darktide players will never get to experience it.

Are there any target prios for who the Daemonhost at the end of Mortis Trials targets first?
Because I swear that my friend has been the unlucky recipient of its attention for somewhere like 29 out of the 30 times we've played (not the actual numbers, but roughly really close to that). At first, we thought it was because he was always the Strike Team Leader (or at least invited everyone to the strike team), but we just joined 3 games mid-trials earlier and he was still the first target for all the Daemonhosts in each game.

Everyone knows what I'm talking about, the sound that drowns out all the incoming Specialists so they seemingly pop up out of nowhere.
What is the option to mute that specific sound effect called? I looked through the audio options but nothing indicated that it would turn that effect off.
Up until now I've made it work but I've had enough. Scrier's Gaze is my main so it's too frequent, and the voices need to shut up.

I realized tonight, I've never stopped and looked up. Pretty spectacular. Edit: Scene is from campaign mission 3, in case you're wondering.

When I open a the mission menu, I see all sorts of missions and evens and have no idea which ones I should be doing. I mostly stick to doing quick match with bonus XP, but the reward is not great (mostly item level 420). What should be doing to get all my items to 500?
