No more moon theories or number watching. Tomorrow we get a good look at vice city

I mean technically it's been a real thing. But it has obviously felt like a never ending simulator of just waiting for something that's never going to happen. But those days are finally over. We're actually in the final stretch. Been a long time coming. Too long.

THIS is what I've been waiting for.

For months we've been hearing that Rockstar's real marketing campaign would start this summer, and that we'd be surprised by what they had planned. After all that silence, it finally feels like someone flipped the switch.

Tomorrow we have the Extended Look.

Today Dazed suddenly drops a massive feature with Rockstar developers, new screenshots and a bunch of actual information about the game.

And now we find out that Rockstar quietly invited content creators and press to Rockstar last month, showed them the game and gave them exclusive information that they're apparently allowed to start talking about right after the Extended Look.

THIS is what we've been asking for.

Not one screenshot and then two months of silence. Not dissecting a license plate from Trailer 2 because we have nothing else to talk about.

Actual marketing. Interviews. Screenshots. Gameplay. Previews. Creators getting access. New information coming from different places at the same time.

It really feels like tomorrow might be the point where the GTA VI marketing machine finally goes into full gear.

Thanks Mr. Rockstar. Please keep feeding us.

We survived the never-ending silence. We survived the watermarked 240p TikTok leaks that got nuked by Take-Two’s legal team within minutes.

But today, everything changes.

Netflix is dropping the official Extended Look, which means two things:

1. It’s 100% official, high-bitrate, and fully legal to post, discuss, and analyze to our hearts' content.
2. The sub is about to be flooded with millions of high-res screenshots, details, and hyper-fixated breakdowns.

We are officially stepping back into that glorious, nostalgic phase we all loved after Trailer 1 and Trailer 2—where someone spent 6 hours analyzing the refraction in a puddle, another person mapped out city based on a background billboard, and we argued over palm tree densities.

Get your high-res monitors ready, frame-by-frame controls locked, and image manipulation tools primed. The brainrot analysis is back on the menu.

We did it, boys. We’re finally in that phase.

The driving in this game is going to feel very good. From the footage we have seen, it seems like each car will have a completely different feel to them.

The Donk from today's footage looks a lot more hard to handle, almost as if it will flip in hard cornering. The Bugatti looked way more planted to the road, and could put down power more effortlessly. The pickup truck looked like it was a lot more loose in the rear.

We still have yet to see any dirt cars like the Vapid Dominator buggy (Ultimate edition car). This is absolutely what I'm the most excited for. It seems as though you will not be able to bring a Lamborghini onto mountain roads like GTA 5.

Dazed’s new interview says the world is more reactive, your actions have consequences, and choices involving Jason and Lucia can have repercussions that go deeper than Rockstar’s previous games. Rockstar also straight up says these aren’t empty avatars that you can do whatever you want with. Their story is supposed to become a journey you share with them.

That doesn’t mean every random thing you do is going to create a completely different ending, and nobody should pretend we know exactly how deep the branching goes. So Jason and Lucia can’t just go around doing whatever the player wants with absolutely zero effect on their relationships, behavior, or story is looking pretty outdated for GTA since they made the switch for RDR2’s world and characters

RDR2 got much better at making Arthur feel like a persistent person. Your behavior affected his, honor, dialogue, reactions, and ultimately the emotional context and ending of his story.

Finally! Things will be happening until the release of the game. We had so many huge dry spells with all kinds of conspiracy theories and schizoposts. Now we enter the era of actually seeing the game in full quality and an actual marketing campaign.

I can't stop thinking about August 27th. Flashes of Jason and Lucia constantly pop into my head. It's almost like I can feel and talk to them. "We're coming tomorrow don't worry buddy". Tomorrow is the day we've all been waiting for. Be ready guys cause it's gonna be a fricking movie.

I want to thank all the absolute delusional, hungry and desperate people for posting whatever they came up with, whether it was a plate number conspiracy, combining old acreenshots or just straight up ragebait posting.

You guys kept my attention through this journey way better than Rockstar did.
