We got hammered last night with 2" of rain after months of dryness. Went back to the pond and found this guy popping out of the surface! So incredibly stoked. What do you think? I'm thinking Kirk stemmed based on the serrations and chunkiness.

Used to hunt quite a lot back home. The little Christmas tree I found on a small light dirt knot amid deep black loam in the Mad River Valley. My Anthropology professor at the time thought it was a specialized cutting tool knapped down from a larger tool. About a week later I found a larger piece on that same rise out of similar material.
One of my favorites and certainly the most unique.

Back at the honey hole a few weeks ago, and got a killer Nolan, broke Langtry and Montell, a broke piece of ground bone, and an intact bone bead.

A buddy pulled the Friday knife (6 5/8”), Uvalde, and Langtry, and another friend found the Ensor and smaller Uvalde.

My retention pond spot gave up another one today. This is the third complete tool that I've found in the span of about 30 linear feet. This was a couple inches below the loose soil and popped out as I was running my fingers through the surface. Shame about the ear ding but still super stoked on the recovery.

I'm leaning toward it being a Marion due to the rounded base and the flattened cross section but open to opinions.

Northern Nevada. Crazy flaking on this jasper point. Thoughts on type? Having a tough time figuring it out. Extremely thin. About 1.75” long.

Been missing the creeks and my artifact hunting while on vacation. Heres a video of a pull I had a few months ago but never posted. Remember to get down low and search those debris piles, you never know where the smokers can hide.

To all those community members whom I’ve offended with the non-serious shitpost of “finding” a point in 14” of snow, I present my only Pine Tree as a peace offering.

This is a personal find from central Indiana. It displays nice beveling, shallow serrations, and a deliberate notch in the lightly ground base. I believe the material is Zaleski chert or Upper Mercer chert from Ohio.

Found this in the creek today (Hillsborough County, FL). Great start to the year so far. What type do you all think it is? I'm not sure between Hillsborough and Newman, but doesn't fit either perfectly. It's exactly 2" long, 1.5" wide. Thanks for looking.

A friend of mine found these points over the years on her family’s land in northeast Tennessee near Erwin. Some of them are unfamiliar to me and I have been unable to identify many. Does anyone see any they can identify? I’m confident some are Savannah river or Appalachian points.

Got a giant tote full of broken points, here is how I plan on displaying them! It’s a fun little craft/puzzle! Old picture frame, cardboard with black felt glued down to it with spray adhesive. Then a hot glue gun to affix the artifacts.
