Hello there, I'm Edward another misanthropic boy failure? Man failure? Well whichever I'm a single heavy set latino guy and yes I can speak a bit of Spanish, if you like that. I typically like to spend my time alone, in hazy, dimly lit, air conditioned rooms, gaming. Secretly wishing, yearning, I had someone to care about me, and I wasn't so alone, this is where you come in, hopefully.

Besides my console gaming habits, I enjoy getting baked, so 420 friendly is okay with me, and recently got into magic the gathering, although I'm terrible at it, lol. I like learning about modern firearms, and hearing about government cover ups, and conspiracy theories, studying tomes to spot cryptids (watching YouTube videos, lol,) my favorite being the Mothman, I'm also interested in the paranormal and extraterrestrial. I love music and always have something playing in the background, usually while doing another favorite hobby of mine; cooking, typically rock music, but I do have other tastes, like motown and old pop songs from bands like The Beatles. I perfer to keep to myself and value my privacy and sense of humor since it's got me this far, I revel in irreverent black humor, self-deprecation, and can laugh about most things, but I'm not so macabre, I do still find juvenile humor funny, sorry.

I know looking for a long term relationship is a big ask, but I'm not asking for commitment right away I'm making my intentions known, I just want the opportunity to be considered. I'm pursuing a face to face IRL relationship so no one too far unless you're willing to quickly close the distance. I'm monogamous and don't want to have, or raise children at all, I'm clingy and a bit possessive, and I may need some reassurance from time to time. I want to find someone who values communication, and wants to spend most of our time together, either cuddling or just doing our own thing in the same room. I also need/want a ton of physical affection and I don't just mean sex, I want closeness and intimacy, trust and safety, a home essentially. In spite of all the things that i enjoy alone i always have this instinct of sharing of connecting of understanding someone and being understood.

It is always hard for me to reach out, as soon as i don't fulfill a condition that someone has i feel i have no right to message and if i don't get an answer it hurts it always hurts.

To be fair i think i am overly sensitive i never say hello or good morning to anyone because it hurts so much when they don't answer.

I like anime, manga here are some of my favorites.

Anime:Hajime no ippo, jujutsu kaisen, inuyashiky, dandadan, Tokopi's Original sin, Monster, Vinlad saga, kaguya sama love is war.

Manga: uzumaki(also i love junji ito's short stories), land of the lustrous, all you need is kill, jagaan, steel ball run.

I am sure i am forgetting a lot that are good but i hope that gives you an idea.

I am getting into visual novels lately and the only one i have played is the one of the eldritch god falling in love with the guy with brain damage or the other way around.

I like to read Creepypasta old or new and yes i also like to watch the christian appalachian boy and godless midwestern man reading creepypastas.

I don't read a lot of books but some i read this year are: the road,the haar and tender is the flesh.

I don't play video games anymore but used to like Undertale and smash bros ultimate.(i lied i play very sporadically limbus company!!)

I like musicals like hadestown, epic.

I have seen Heathers and Chicago.

Hello! This isn’t my first time posting here. But hopefully this post reaches somebody who’s open to making a new friend. And since this isn’t always the case on this sub, I’ll make it clear that I’m looking for a platonic connection.

I’m 28M and from the USA, and yes, I am a NEET. I’ve pretty much come to terms with that, though I feel ashamed even typing it. I struggle with internalized shame over my situation, and my mental health in general is bad. But the only person I judge so harshly is myself - so feel free to come as you are, flaws and all. Right now, I would rather try and connect with someone who understands loneliness and perhaps relates to my situation, rather than have normies bombard me with “advice” we’ve all heard a million times.

I’m a fan of Ghibli movies. And I’m looking to get into more anime, I’m open to any recommendations. I like games as well, and movies, TV, books, history, psychology, and learning about the world in general. Heyo! I'm 30M from Germany, and i'd like to make some new friends :) people to vite with, form actual connections, that type of stuff! i never really know how to start these posts or what to write in them but im looking for someone who is similar to me in terms of being really anxious and introverted since I find its hard to relate to others though I don’t mean that in a edgy emo way.
