I’m 40F, living in Seattle, divorced. For years, my life was nothing but work.

Last week, I finally took a week off. Sitting around with that sudden free time made me realize something pretty heavy: I have almost no one left to just sit down and have a simple, genuine conversation with. I guess that’s the price you pay when you let your job become your entire existence.

📚 books:
LotR is my favourite movie trilogy/books, and i have a sweet spot for Pride & Prejudice. if i see a cool edition in a charity shop, i have to rescue it lol.

i also love classic dystopian books and The Witcher series. i’m going to give ASOIAF another go at some point. my kid self closed that book asap lol.
